That is true - more time lost equals more money. However, you better have a legitimate claim because a jury (who is sceptical to start with) will sniff out a malingerer. I would rather say to a jury that my client has a residual earning capacity and is fighting for his livlihood than to have a similarly situated client sit on his ass doing nothing. Guess which guy gets a bigger judgment. THe is much more complicated than it sounds because it involves occupational rehabilitation experts, doctors, etc. Any attorney who says otherwise is a bad attorney.

Absolutely not true. I am a lawyer and the first thing I say to every client is this: "You have responsibilities in the client-attorney relationship. Your duty is to take care of your physical and social health first. My job is to take care of your legal health." I want my clients to try to go back to work (When possible) because juries can sniff out exagerators and liars faster than they can sniff out concepts like "negligence" and "proximate cause." Also, juries like to award people who fight for their livlihood, family, and health.

I agree with your analysis - however I would say Boldin is arguably a top 5 WR, certainly top 10.

I am saving this thread to bring up later on when I am proven right. As far as pure talent Rudi is not in the same universe as Jackson. Before now, the Ram's offensive schemes have cloaked Jackson's talent. THis year I think he will be a top three fantasy back. Get ready to eat crow!

Why do you think JAckson lacks toughness? That dude is a power runner. Is it because of the pass-happy cute offense the rams used to run? That system has now been changed to a more run focused system.

I was faced with that decision at #6 (see post below) and I chose Jackson. The Rams will no longer have the "ignore the running game" offense and Jackson will be featured much more than in the past. Jackson is the better back and I think he could have a break-out year. Johnson may be hurt if Palmer stumbles in his effort to come back from a bad knee injury. While Palmer is playing well now, the injury could start to nag him as the season goes on.

I was REALLY looking forward to the St. Pierre/Hughs fight. St. Pierre is one of favorite fighters. I hate Hughes because I hate all fighters from him team. Rogan kisses their ass every fight. I understand my hatred is not rational. Also, who was that HUGE African-AMerican heavy-weight who won Saturday night. Rogan seemed to be really hyping a future title fight for that guy.

Rogan was talking about the LIddell - Sobal bout in the lead-in to the fight. He was saying how sobal believes that he can take LIddell down and how he believes that he can submit LIddell; that he believes he can beat Liddell. Rogan then says something like, "it will be an interesting fight and we will have to see if Sobal is right." Then rolls his eyes as he passes it off to Greenberg as if to say, Liddell is going to kill this guy. I had about 20 guys at my house and we replayed it about 5 times using TIVO. It got funnier each time.

Saw the fights tonight - did you see Joe Rogan's roll of the eyes when he was talking about the Liddell fight? I had 20 guys over and we replayed that about 5 times. F-ing hysterical! FYI: Hughs is not fighting St. Piere (that would have been a GREAT fight). St. Piere suffered a groin injury. Now, Hughes will be fighting BJ Penn, the last fighter he lost too.
