  1. She was standing in the street - in fact she was in a line of people who were blocking the street praying. The van pulled up to the line, paused, and then ran through the line. PEople were tossed like bowling pins! And to the bastard that doubted "my account" - :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: - I had nightmares about that scene for months afterwords. I also saw people run over by police motorcycles. The woman and the others WERE BREAKING THE LAW - civil disobedience like Rev. Matin Luther King, Jr. and Ghandi - however, the police response was not lawfull. There is an escalating level of response that they must follow. AND UNDER NO CICUMSTANCES DOES IT ALLOW FOR BOWLING OVER PEOPLE WITH A AUTOMOBILE! That sounds a bit like something we see in other countries, and that scares me. And to others who say that the protestors start the violence - :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: - I have been pepper sprayed and tear gassed - I have been arrested for possessing a cell phone! I have had friends who were arrested for standing a corner with a walkie-talkie and had their bail set at $1,000,000! I have seen these things. There will be 250,000 people in NYC protesting - and over 249,000 will be peacefull protesters exercising their right to protest and asking the government to adress their grievances. I want a country that allows protest - and responses to protests from governments is scary. When did our founding fathers invision a day when dissenting citizens would be placed in pens, and cages that are called "free-speech zones" in our Orwellian world! Even if you disagree with all my politics this MUST disturb you. This is a trend that must stop. As Ty said in Caddyshack: "this isn't Russia is it? No I didn't think so."
  2. This guy is too funny to be real - he has to be a made up caller. Everytime he calls, every host, bar none, lets out a deep sigh - as though the host is getting ready for the most insane point. Even if the Bills won the Superbowl he would be pissed!
  3. OHHHH! I read the thread topic quickly and I thought this was the Rickey Williams thread!
  4. First, you all have no idea what you are talking about. I have helped ot organize these protests and I have gone to the protests. I have provided free legal counsel to those who are arrested. I never got paid once! People have lost jobs standing up for thier convictions - though those convictions may be different than your own. Second, I have witnessed police provacateurs instigate violence. I have seen a police van deliberately run through a line of protestors that included elderly women and clergy members. I have seen deliberate attempts to stomp on our first amendment rights through official policy and police enforcement tactics. While you whine on this messege board and do NOTHING about your convictions, others are willing to give up their liberty, jobs, reputations, and personal safety for theirs. Many of these "slackers" are veterans of our military, who have risked much for their convictions in the military and will do so on the streets in NYC. Flame away - but you spite what you should respect! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  5. Miami Wants William to Say "I am Sorry." I think we all suspected the real reasons for him leaving, but this could be the most selfish player outside the NBA.
  6. their wings suck @ss! that is true, but all I need in a good sports bar are multiple projection TV's, many other TV's so that every NFL game is showing, and a good selection of brews. That, they got.
  7. Go down Elmwood Ave and walk into Casa di Pizza. They have the best wings in town in my opinion (ask for them extra crispy). Also, Elmwood will give many options of things to do. Anchor Bar is a great "novelty stop" but they certainly do not have the best wings in town.
  8. Buffalo Sports Bars rankings For fantasy football geeks like me, Damon's and Buffalo Wild Wings are great! At least 5 large projection TV's with many other TV's with every game within view from almost every seat. What do you all think?
  9. Nice! I have a new son who just turned four weeks old today - the stewie character now hits a little too close to home when my son is screaming non-stop. I now wonder what he is REALLY thinking.
  10. Stewie is my favorite character. He is a Meglomaniac Ideologue with a serious Oedipal Complex! My favorite quote by him is: "Damn you, vile woman! You've impeded my work since the day I escaped from your wretched womb."
