  1. Unlike the NBA and MLB, the NFL has actually taken recent steps to lessen punishment for positive Cannabis tests(See Josh Gordon). A tangible example of this was the raising of the threshold for a positive test from 15 nanograms per milliliter to 35ng/ml. In addition the NFL uses suspension as a last resort, coming into effect after the fourth positive test. That shouldn’t surprise anyone given that the NFL, more than any other sport, does everything it can to keep players on the field. Here is the NFL breakdown: First Infraction – Mandatory Rehabilitation Program Second Infraction – 2 Game Fine (Can Play Un-Paid) Third Infraction – 4 Game Fine (Can Play Un-Paid) Fourth Infraction – 4 Game Suspension Fifth Infraction – 10 Game Suspension https://www.cashinbis.com/mlb-nba-and-nfls-policy-on-cannabis/ That’s right, the NHL does NOT include Cannabis on its list of banned substances
  2. Low expectations , low stress this season , focus on the 2017 draft to start over.
  3. A Navy sailor facing prison time for taking photos of a classified area on a US nuclear attack submarine is asking a federal judge for leniency, citing the government's decision not to indict Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information. The federal sentencing guideline ranges from 63 to 78 months. http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/16/politics/navy-sailor-clinton-email-defense/index.html E-6 thats a pretty high enlisted rank , but not as high as either Clinton
  4. The teams of the players will get a salary cap credit in the current season for the amount of the suspensions. Other salary components can be at risk with suspensions. Teams can recoup the same proportion of the prorated amount of a player's signing bonus as he's losing in base salary Teams are required under the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) to recoup signing bonuses for PED and substance-abuse suspensions. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/agents-take-real-costs-behind-the-nfls-suspended-stars-of-2015/
  5. The player should lose his game checks of his entire cap hit not just base salary. Brady beat the system having a base salary of $1M. Maybe that would get players attention.
  6. The #Bills may have the ability to void Dareus’ current guarantees ($20M thru 2018) per his reported violation, who carries $47M in dead cap
  7. I just hope Glenn and Richie are 100% for regular season
  8. The Dallas Cowboys face a fine of at least $250,000 for having three players who are suspended for part of the upcoming season, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN. The fining system was put in place in order to hold teams accountable for taking on players who violate any of the leagues policies. The amount of the fine is equivalent to 25% of the suspended players’ salaries. http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/07/28/dallas-cowboys-fine-three-suspended-players

  10. Kroy Biermann signed a 1 year, $885,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills, including an average annual salary of $885,000. In 2016, Biermann will earn a base salary of $885,000. Biermann has a cap hit of $600,000 http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/kroy-biermann/
  11. Wisconsin sheriff blames 'tribal behavior' for Milwaukee violence "The law of the jungle replaced the rule of law in Milwaukee Saturday night over an armed career criminal suspect who confronted police." He described the urban, black poor as victims. "The actions were the manifestation of a population with no hope, no stake in the American dream that could provide advancement and purpose and pride of self. They are the ones lied to, exploited by and ultimately manipulated by the Democrats who claim to care. They are victims of the left, but they are not without blame." David A. Clarke, Jr. ✔ @SheriffClarke Failed Democrat Progressive liberal urban policies create ghettos like Milwaukee that erupt into violence at the most inane provocation. http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/16/us/milwaukee-county-sheriff-david-clarke-profile/index.html I'am a Independent and I approve this message

  13. Nice reaction from Kroy and his wife " Kroy is so excited as I am (my parents grew up there, half my family still lives there) never mind the fact the fans are AWESOME, the team is AWESOME and my hubby is ecstatic"
  14. I thought it showed trespassers before the fire but we are still waiting to hear more about the video. I would be surprised if there was a camera inside a unused office bldg where the fire started. It would have burned up unless it sent video to a recorder in a different location.
