There should be a national dialogue in getting back to work

Fauci: Coronavirus immunity cards for Americans are 'being discussed' The proposal is contingent upon the widespread deployment of antibody tests which the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration are in the process of validating in the the U.S., Fauci said. Immunity certificates are already being implemented by researchers in Germany and have been floated by the United Kingdom and Italy, the most recent epicenter of the global outbreak in Europe. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/10/fauci-coronavirus-immunity-cards-for-americans-are-being-discussed-178784 -

Democrats say dump Biden for Cuomo: Poll gives New York governor 12-point lead over presumptive nominee A nationwide poll found that 56% of likely Democratic voters said that they would like Cuomo to be the Democratic presidential nominee rather than Biden, while 44% said that the former vice president should be the nominee. Support for Cuomo rather than Biden was highest among voters who were 35 or younger, 66% of whom picked the New York governor over Biden. As Biden is forced to suspend normal campaign operations during the coronavirus pandemic, Cuomo has gained notoriety and admiration by holding daily press briefings about the outbreak in New York City, the metropolitan area hardest hit in the pandemic. The poll found that among all voters, 54% approve and 20% disapprove of Cuomo's coronavirus response, while 32% approve and 35% disapprove of Biden's coronavirus response. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/democrats-say-dump-biden-for-cuomo-poll-gives-new-york-governor-12-point-lead-over-presumptive-nominee -

Biden would have to stay strictly on a script not written by him , never off the cuff. Even Trump sounds good when doing that. -

Harris or Abrams could be in the cabinet just not VP next in line. My guess is Cuomo could be viable. -

Andrew Cuomo @NYGovCuomo · 19h #BREAKING: All New Yorkers will be able to vote absentee on the June 23rd primaries. New Yorkers shouldn't have to choose between their health and their civic duty What a disaster that Wisconsin could not vote this way Milwaukee has around 300,000 registered voters and usually has 180 polling locations. On Tuesday, there were just five open because many sites were consolidated due to a shortage of poll workers. https://www.nbc15.com/content/news/Long-lines-forming-at-Milwaukee-polling-locations-569436971.html

Bills have [20 some] million in cap space? Moderator Edited
ALF replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills restructure FB Patrick DiMarco's contract Per the report, there’s a $450,000 pay cut for DiMarco and his cap hit goes from $2.35 million to $1.9 million. His base salary also drops from $1.8 million to $1.1 million next season. He’s entering the final year of his four-year contract. DiMarco now has per-game roster bonuses in his deal, which could total up to $250,000. What those could exactly end up being is in question, but will be interesting to see since DiMarco was sparsely part of Buffalo’s game plan on offense in recent seasons. While playing in a minimal role, DiMarco has played in every game possible with the Bills since signing with the team. He also serves in a leadership role for the team and does play a special teams role as well. “What he does for us Monday through Saturday, leadership wise, in the huddle leadership wise, in addition to the things you see on tape,” Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott previously mentioned on DiMarco. Also included on DiMarco’s deal is his pro-rated signing bonus and a $50,000 workout bonus plus his salary. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2020/03/23/buffalo-bills-restructure-patrick-dimarco-contract/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/patrick-dimarco-11222/ -

So be it, that's my political position. I don't support far left or right. I do respect the will of the electoral college that has been our system. -

ABC News: US intelligence warned of China's spreading contagion in November The US military's National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI) compiled a November intelligence report in which "analysts concluded it could be a cataclysmic event," one of the sources of the NCMI's report told ABC News. The source told ABC News that the intelligence report was then briefed "multiple times" to the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon's Joint Staff and the White House. Repeated briefings were held through December across the US government, including the National Security Council, culminating in a detailed outline of the threat in the President's Daily Brief in early January, according to ABC News, whose report cited four sources briefed on the matter. The report, which CNN has not independently verified, raised concerns because of the disease's potential threat to US military forces in Asia, ABC News reported. https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/08/politics/us-intelligence-report-china-coronavirus/index.html

51 recovered coronavirus patients in South Korea test positive again after release from quarantine The virus likely was reactivated, said KCDC Director-General Jeong Eun-kyeong, instead of the people being reinfected once they left, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported. In March, the South China Morning Post reported that doctors in Wuhan, China – where the virus emerged – said that as many as 10 percent of coronavirus patients had tested positive again after being discharged from the hospital. While surveillance of similar patients showed that 80 to 90 percent had no trace of the virus in their system one month after being discharged from the hospital, Wang said officials were only working with "small samples." “We need a large-scale epidemiological study to guide our disease surveillance and prevention works,” he was quoted as saying. https://www.foxnews.com/world/coronavirus-south-korea-patients-test-postive-again-quarantine-release-covid-19

In 1988 I had the flu that became pneumonia . The hospital here was full and sent me home. If you laid down it was like drowning so to sleep sitting up in the lazy boy worked. This covid 19 is far more worse then pneumonia. At my age I don't think I would accept going on a ventilator unless I could be unconscious the whole time. Not being able to breathe is the ultimate disaster. I feel so sad for anyone on a ventilator and there is too many right now.

A $40 oxygen-measuring device can tell at-home coronavirus patients if they need to go to the ER device known as a pulse oximeter, which can measure the oxygen levels in one's blood within seconds after being clipped to one's finger or another body part, is becoming a hot new commodity during the coronavirus pandemic. Oximeters measure blood oxygen levels by sending photons of a specific wavelength through the skin and observing the measurements. They are most commonly used by people with respiratory issues, or by individuals in professions where monitoring oxygen levels is a paramount concern, such as athletes and pilots. In medicine, of course, they are in many different cases including for routine check-ups. Because COVID-19 can lead to a drop in a patient's blood oxygen levels, the coronavirus era has brought on a minor oximeter craze. https://www.salon.com/2020/04/06/a-40-oxygen-measuring-device-can-tell-at-home-coronavirus-patients-if-they-need-to-go-to-the-er/ I've had this device that also takes your pulse on fingertip for a heart condition. Another quick temperature check is a ear thermometer . Normal oxygen reading would be about 95% , below 90 start to check more often.
