I don't think they've been stopped with 1 yard to go when using this play so far. Basically undefendable. A HUGE advantage that you're guaranteed a 1st down whenever you face 3rd or 4th and short. But there HAS to be a way.. right? The best way I can think to battle that play would be come up with a whole new different defensive front. You need to get as big and as strong as possible. Leave the normal goal line DLine in. But sub out LB's and put Torrence and Dawkins in. And have them right on the butts of the DT. And when the ball is snapped they just plow into the pile and try and push it back or create a roadblock of sorts. Almost like a reverse tug of war... A push of war? And once you've stalemated the push, you can have guys jumping over the pile, like you see now, and try and drag Hurts down. To stop something innovative like their version of the Qb sneak, you need to be innovative yourself. Could this work? Does anyone have any other ideas?
On a 4th and G at 1 against Jets….QB fumbled forward…recovered by eagles…but since 4th doen it was reverted back to the 1 and Jets ball.

Simple brains like mine need simple explanations. Here's what's been ailing the Bills...
* Defense. Our defense isn't playing at its typically dominant level because of the injuries. We're missing too many good players.
* Offense. Dorsey and Josh have both been suboptimal. Josh's struggles largely stem from Josh but Dorsey contributed to, and amplified, his problems. But there is hope...
The D still still has injuries but manages to play okay. Whatever we may think about McD overall, he's good at defense. Over the years that he's been here, I think you could say about our defense that 'the sum is greater than the whole of its parts.' McD fields defensive units that play smart and play together.
The O may have already solved its problem. It's been plagued by predictable patterns of play-calling and an over-reliance on Josh's heroics & the Josh-Diggs connection. But we won big yesterday without Superman throws (or runs) from Josh, not a ton of air yards, and little contribution from Diggs. Brady might be the solution we've been looking for. He seems to call a better game than Dorsey and he makes Josh better.
We may need to win 5 of the remaining 6 tough games. The NY Times simulator gives us only a 26% chance of making the playoffs. But if the D can remain solid and hold opponents to 25 or less and the revitalized offense can average 30 points per game over the final stretch, which we know it can do, we have a chance.
the D has had a bunch of injuries. You could say theirD has 15 regular players in a 4-2-5 defense. Half have bern injured. The D has played well but they are a bend dont break D that is not a total shut down D. This adds vulnerability in defending 1 score games late in the game.
Thr offense got predictable in play calling and they haven’t seemed to adjust play calling for their opponent.
3 loses came down to the final minutes. The other 2 loses mistakes hurt them in those games with red zone turnovers.

Von is a shell of the Von we saw last year. He constantly tries to beat the OT with a speed rush, but finds himself 5-7 yards past the QB every time. Spencer Brown could block him one on one right now.
He is not 100%. It takes over 18 months to fully recover.

Then why is he in the lineup?
He’s at 75% and on a play count. Teams still have to account for him.

He’s wearing a brace as part of the recovery/return.
He’s not going to have elite bend in a bulky brace.
He’s detailed this process. Next step is a smaller brace, then no brace.
We’ll see if he becomes effective this year, but right now.. judging him in his first few games back wearing a brace is very premature.
it takes over a year to fully recover from his injury. He’s not even 90% now. -

They lost to Denver today and only scored 9 points against a defense that gave up 70 a few weeks back. Heads are gonna roll. Someone needs to lose their job
it’s a division game on the roadwhy did we lose at Jets and at Pats?
they played them a few weeks ago in a close score game
5 of their 6 wins were close one score games in the 4th quarter. Only east win was against Chicago.

I think he’s jealous of Kelce SO stealing the spotlight…

He is 3 weeks post comeback and there is very little bend to his rush, much slower get-off (you can tell he is trying to jump the snap to get the edge), and I have yet to see him win a single match-up.
He simply looks bad.
Last time he came back from an ICL injury he was younger, but he had 9 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 TFL in his first 3 games back.
Do we feel Von is toast? His dead cap is $32.5M so he is not going anywhere.
you have the injury he had it takes 1.5 yrs to get back to 100%. -
I don’t know if coaching staffs are connected in someway
ventral Florida go for 2 to tie Oklahoma …it’s a bac lateral pass option play thst failed
Penn state down 14 late go for 2 and run the same play but going to the opposite side of the field.

I wonder what the whole story is. Not saying he's lying, he very well might have been pulled over for no reason...I wasn't there.
It would be nice to hear reasons why.
I had a friend that said cops were out to get him and why he got a ticket. He had expired tags by like 3-4 months but still felt like it wasn't justified and the cops targeted him.
Driving while black in buffalo suburbs of a near certainty over 5 years.

When I looked at the schedule, I thought it was a lock we'd get Bills @ NE on 10/22, but Ch 6 will be showing Washington & NYG next week at 1:00.
i have a feeling this will be like Syracuse where cbs airs bills, FOX airs Giants if bills at home.
if bills- chests were on FOX against giants the giants would win. I see Albany changing to bills game.

ATL with a bizarre 2 pt attempt
Hoe?
a PI call put them at 1 and they ran the ball.
it’s the analytics choice to go for 2 when down by 14.
it has to do with probability of miss/ make the 2 PATs vs going for a 2 on thr fist TD

I wasn't sure if that commercial was showing nationally, or just locally.
It brings up sad memories. Larry Bierl, a well known homeless Amherst man froze to death in a bus shelter in 2019.

It’s on nationally.

So I've got a thing.....
Back in January I developed a sinus infection (no real history of it) that for some reason filled my eustachian tubes so fully that I've lost about 80% of my hearing for going on 10 months now.
I've tried multiple cycles of a variety of antibiotics, flonase, sinus flushes, etc etc etc. Am currently on clindamycin and levocetirizine with no positive results yet (still with daily flushes and flonase). Had tubes put in and ears drained but it only worked for about 2 days before it filled back up again. The infection comes and goes but even when it's not presenting yellow snot, the drainage never really clears up and my hearing remains severely compromised.
Ever see anything like this or have any suggestions?
Edit: The first knucklehead that says vaccine is getting kicked in the jimmy.
Have you seen an ENT/ sinus doctor?
have you dcumented things you did or ate when it seemed to get better and when it got worse?
the Levocetirizine pills is generic of xyzal
before this did you have allergies? Other med conditions?
