Maybe some variation between the Broncos and Chargers, but right now the path to the Super Bowl seems established. Do you think the Bills can do it?
Ravens still need to beat the browns. A team that beat them earlier this year1 Chiefs
2/3 Bills
2/3/5 Ravens
3/5/6/7 Steelers
4 Texans
5/6/7/ out Chargers
5/6/7/ out Broncos
Out/6/7 Colts
Out/6/7 Dolphins
Out/7 Bengals

Draft order as of now for top picks
Team. Wins. SOS-Wins
NYG 2. 142
NE 3. 118
JAX 3. 123
TEN 3. 131
CLE 3. 138
LV 3. 142
CAR 4 127
NYJ 4. 128
CHI 4. 142
NO 5 130
SF 6 145
After week 17 spaces can be locked up because of week 18 being all division play that means teams total W in SOS can only increase by 5. 3 for 3 non common game results and their division game they play ( counts twice because of 2 meetings)
if wins and SOS are tied then they will decide by coin flip between 2 or dice roll among 3 teams tied
division sort does not matter…one season bills and fins were tied with same record. Fins was 3rd, buf was 4th because of normal sorting of H2H/ div record/ common games/ conf record but Fins drafted before buffalo because their SOS was worse.
-
With Ravens winning….
Chiefs earn #1 seed
BUF magic number is 1 to earn #2 seed between them and Baltimore
balt W or T they clinch division. If they don’t W div they are locked in at #5
PIT W and balt L, Pitt win division
Houston will be #4 seed
WC still up for grabs.
DEN/ LAC WW and PIT L then they pass them in seedlings and put PIT at 7. A L by either team raises PIT worst seeding up a notch of two ( if each lose 1)
3 hours ago, SCBills said:Didn’t realize Houston was only a game back of Baltimore.
Couldn’t they conceivably get the 3 if they win today and Steelers lose next week / Baltimore wins next week?
With CIN playing PIT, not unlikely the way PIT is fading.
With losing, Texans are in #4. Balt W are 2 games ahead with one to play. PIT is one game ahead. Balt has not clinched div yet.

Interestingly he seemed to get the same foot down twice...
Theoretical question: a player catches the ball and hops on the same foot 3 times before going out of bounds.
Catch or not?
Not a catch.
the problem is how do you count. In a foot slide/ toe drag you can have the jump 2-3 times and thrn technically be a cstch
a cortolary to this is if thr toe touches first thrn you place heal down out it’s not a foot down

DE is the #1 need for this team. With Garrett this team would be SB favorites for the next several years. Personally I’d do better than the Kalil Mack trade compensation package of 2x1’s, 3rd and 6th for KM and 2nd. I’d do 2x1’s (2025/2026) a 2nd (2026), and a 3rd (2025).
Simple math….
look at NFL individual/ team sack leaders and the teams record and think who might want to improve their numbers?
im not trading 10 1st round picks for him.

ESPN does not have the broadcast rights to TEN-JAX. CBS does. It is also too late now to flex any game, and ESPN wouldn't be showing it on Sunday afternoon anyway as they have only the MNF contract.
This is why you need to cite your sources for any announcement like this. You have done this before, and it didn't turn out to be correct, just speculation.
I was looking at the espn schedule page for week 17 and saw that thry flipped Dallas- Philly for gb- minn at 425 and I thought I saw the tenn- JAX at 405p listed as well. I could have misread it or It could have been a posting error by the folks editing that to turn later change it backWhat I’ve read in articles is under NFL contract with YouTube they are required to have 3 late game in the 4/425 slot. Right now they have only 2 games. I don’t know what sort of exceptions are in place with games moved to Saturday and Xmas.

ESPN was showing the titans jags at 405 pm
they are required under Youtube TV contract to have 3 games at 405/425.each week.
maybe espn changed thus from a leak and NFL will wait to say which games moves.

If it buffers all day I think nfl network might simulcast these
what I haven’t heard was Tyson problem due to the production/ transmission or was it on Netflix streaming issue
-
Update they have moved Packers at Vikings to solo 425 and moved Titans at Jags to 4:05 for the 3 game late slot rule along with fins st browns for 405
2 games on Netflix for Xmas
1 Amazon game on Thursday
3 Saturday game on NFL network
9 Sunday games
1 Monday night game
There may be a Friday night…..just kidding ….

Yes. The best was about 5 years ago or so when they had one division sorted out mostly in the 1pm window then the other in the later timeslot. What the league seems to have done lately is put the non-meaningful games @ 1, followed by the meaningful games in the higher-rated 4:30 frame.
thr other piece is tv rules.thry now have a rule if division game is on national tv thrn other is safe.
so since Bills-Jetsxwas Monday night, next weeks game couldn’t get moved to national TV. The piece I’m unsure on is if the game could have moved to FOX.
Green bay- minnesota was on CBS earlier this year. Does that mean next weeks rematch is automatically protected for FOX without term needing to use a protection.

FOX/CBS can't protect games in week 18 because they aren't assigned beforehand.
Agred
the thing I’m unsure about are the new rules with moving games between networks.
You’d ideally have PIT and BAL play on opposite networks with div st stake. Same with TB and WAS for a WC spot.

You're tired of not having having Sunday 1pm games, aren't you? Lol
I think Vikings Lions will be the Sunday Night game. I don't think there is any chance that becomes a Saturday game
Secondly, I don't think there is any way in hell that Miami or Indy is gonna have a shot at getting in. So, those games, shouldn't even be in consideration. I see it as 2 possible win and in games of which outside of the Rams Seahawks, there may not really be another one
based on results…
if DEN or LAC L and MIA or INDY W puts WC up for grabs. Thry could use MIA or Indy because they need to Winnand watch

As we know, the NFL likes to schedule 2 games on Saturday during week 18 with playoff implications. There are really only 5 games I can see them choosing from looking at the lineup of games but it obviously depends on what happens this week. If the Steelers beat the Chiefs and Bills beat the Jets, I can see Bills vs Patriots and Chiefs at Broncos being the 2 games as it could be both of them going for the 1 seed in the AFC. I can also see Browns at Ravens and Bengals at Steelers being 2 other games since that could be to determine who wins that division. The one other game I could possibly see would be Seahawks at Rams as that could possibly be for the NFC West as well. It doesn't really appear there will be "win and in" games to pick from and I think Vikings at Lions will be the Sunday night game as that can be what determines the number 1 seed in the NFC.
If the Steelers beat the Chiefs and Bills beat the Jets, I could definitely see
Saturday January 4th
4:30pm Bills at Patriots
8:00pm Chiefs at Broncos
I don't think these games will be flipped because if the Chiefs play first and win, then that makes the Bills game pointless. What does everyone think? What are your picks for the possible Saturday games?
as of now the likely week 18 Sat/ NBC games….assume they do matter
NBC
Vikings- Lions
—just not have MIN L and DET W. Any other keeps this a W gets division.
Seahawks-Rams ( must have rams L next week )
— Rams beat AZ next week and results of other games could clinch division because a week 18 SEA W would come down to straight of schedule tie breaker which rams can clinch after week 17 games.
If neither matters it could be other games but they run the risking backing into the playoff spot/ position like PIT/BAL they team test controls it with a W could move here if others aren’t
ABC/ESPN
if Both SEA/Rams are MIN/DET matter then SEA/Rams game #2 on ESPN/ABC Saturday
MIA/JETs and IND/JAX if the both W in week 17 and one of DEN/LAC lose then those games could play Saturday because it's a must E and watch.
IF ATL and TB both W then ATL/CAR could move to SAT. ATL W wins the division but TB can still get WC in week 18 with W and WAS L or GB LLL
NOTES
In week 17 if ATL W and TB L then ATL clinch division. Other scenarios these occur at same time
PIT and BAL will need to be at same time. Nobody clinches after week 17 no matter what happens
IF KC L and Bills W, Bills move to 425pm week 18
SEA I believe is out of a WC spot…it’s win the division or nothing. With a WW and rams get div, thry L tiebreakers to other teams in ties at 10 wins duevto better conf record and H2H GB loss.
ATL also can’t enter as a WC with results. Try WW they get division, they L they can’t get a WC
WAS and TB if ATL W and TB W would occur at the same time
WAS and GB needs W to clinch WC. If they L tonight and next week they play same time as WAS and TBPHL magic number is 1 for div. IF WAS W and PHL L then those 2 occur at same time

No. They are pacing themselves for a historic playoff domination.
They're are going to rest everyone week 18, manage a few others and then open up the most prolific playoff run in NFL history.
They are going to completely annihilate everyone except for KC on the road. But I think there is a good chance that they destroy KC too... KC will play their heart out in arrowhead but it won't be enough
I don’t the details of the practice squad roster rules on how many can be elevated to play in one week whrn buffalo claims entire D is banged up. -

Probably...Chargers have two cupcakes and they need 1 win so they likely are in. The Broncos have to play the Bengals and Chiefs....if they lose both then the 7 seed might be Colts (two cupcakes) or Bengals (Steelers week 17).
I think the Bills likely with the 2 seed will play Broncos, Colts or Bengals in that order of probability. I feel like it is reasonable it could be the Colts. It could also be the Dolphins if lots of improbably things happen.
I see the Bengals have a better shot than the Colts, not exactly sure why....I get they are better than the Colts but the Colts play Giants and Jags and Bengals play Broncos/Steelers.
IF Bengals LL…..
these are the scenarios..
Cincy W week 17 beating broncos…
week 18 CIN beat PIT and
MIA W IND W. WC7 is IND
MIA W IND L. WC 7 is. MIA
MIA L IND W. WC7 is IND
MIA L IND L WC 7 is. CIN *
Week 18 CIN L to PIT and
MIA W IND W WC 7 is IND
MIA W IND L. WC 7 is. MIA
MIA L IND W. WC7 is. DEN**

If both BAL and PT L on Xmas then Bills clinch #2 seed
if Josh is hurt he likely doesn’t play on Sunday but plays first half in NE to stay fresh If he’s good he plays into the 3rd ( after 1st possesion) then rest next Sunday at Pats

Listening to Josh's post game presser, I get the feeling they are not going to show their full hand the rest of the regular season - unless in a game where if they win they get the 1st seed kind of thing. Josh said as much.
McDermott's presser had the same feel where he explained why Spector started ahead of Williams and one reason is that something like they didn't want to worn out either one. And he also mentioned developing young players, which sounded like Bishop, Elam might continue to play the next 2 games.
Just seems like they have a strategy in place and health is as important as the wins the next 2 weeks. If they are only going to run plays they have shown, even against Jets and Patriots, it might be tough sledding.
they also didn’t want to show their full defense against 2 nfc teams they could face in the SB -
early notes on week 18 schedule…MIN/DET is the early NBC favorite
IF Bills W, KC L then bills could play at 425
If ATL is tied or one game behind TB then they both play at same time.
IF rams L and SEA W then SEA/ Rams is a late Saturday/ Sunday candidate

Detroit first meeting with Chicago was very close
Cleveland beat both PIT and BAL
Vegas should have beaten KC
