    http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/9/6/9268751/nfl-practice-squad-eligibility-rules-kansas-city-chiefs-edition

Above are two good explanations of practice squad eligibility that complement each other.

In addition waiver claims go in order based on last year draft order. Then during the season it adjusts to current record.

If buffalo cuts a current 53 man player who has practice squad eligibility he must velar waivers and then he is a free agent. The pay for practice squads is negotiable so s player can be paid up to the 53 man minimum roster game salary.

Teams can't poach practice squad players from their next opponent ( based on a day limit before the play date if the game--5 days for a team who just played, 9 days for a team on a bye the week before)

A player being activated from the practice squad is assured of 3 game checks even if they only are on the roster for one week then cut.

  2. The only way that this makes sense is if at the meeting where they(Rex,Whaley, coaches,Pegs) decide on the cuts, Fred was not one of the cuts that they decided upon....but then went and cut him anyway. That is going rogue.

Alternatively, Whaley, with the big picture in mind, held firm in the meeting and despite perhaps strong debate from several others it was decided that Fred should be one of the cuts. That is not going rogue.

Sometimes I think that members of the media don't actually use inflamatory and incorrect language on purpose....instead they are simply too ignorant and stupid to know the difference.

Going rogue also means...." Members of the team didn't know Jackson was going to get cut now". They may have talked about but maybe say wait till after the presses don games then decide.

  3. Just wanted to give Moshermw some props. I, along with most Bills fans, had never heard of Tyrod before this post back in February Since then I've felt ahead of the curve on TT.

Great intel and one of the reasons this board rocks..

    What he wrote was good.

I knew who this player was prior to this season. I had lived in Virginia previous and knew who he was as a high school player.

Like most QBs there was a bunch of questions with him in what he could do. Given his very limited pro experience on the field and not holding a clipboard its hard to say what he will do---preseason means crud against vanilla defenses.

  4. Post all suggestions here. T-Mobile can't stick , it's horrible enough we have to watch their commercials.

I'm curious if T-Mobile came from the locker room or from the media?

T-Mobile can be a fun nickname...

dropped balls by receiver= dropped calls

Overthrown/under thrown balls= service connection problems

Holding calls on the OL = star <pkayer number>

He succeeds and asks fir a raise= rate increase

He fails and gets cut= disconnecting service

He gets blindsides by a defender= texting while driving.
