It mattered most when both teams were winning with future HOF QBs.
Tossing the Bills in with other rust belt cities isn't going to create some new hot rivalry.
Wilson wanted to keep his current division teams. Buffalo already had Pittsburgh and Cleveland rivalry.
Buffalo vs Pittsburgh is probably the most heated rivalry for non-division and non within state rivalries in the league.

He seemed to do well with the zBills personnel and has worked under Ryan so....why not??? Something needs to be done.

Harvin if healthy brings the speed and being a deep threat.
Buffalo also has Clay as A TE Their RBs can catch the ball.
Woods isn't an issue.

If Rex was fired, I'd keep roman as OC, then bring in Schwartz as HC, and Pettine as DC (he is likely fired from Browns).
What I don't want yo do is bring in someone who wants to FI a gut and rebuild. The coach and DC have got yo be 4-3 guys.

A few reasons.....
1. Senior management under Wilson. Made it where coaches didn't want yo cone here. pegs us changing that.
2. The team hasn't been awful...but more midfle of the pack where since the last layoffs they have been in that 7-6/6-7 for many of those seasons. You could go through and find 3-4 games they easily could have won with a pkay here or there.
Of their 7 losses, 6 were by a score late in the 4th.
3. People forget Taylor is in ways just like a rookie with him getting his first real snaps this season.
4. The frustration thing is the new coaches !@#$ with what is working. When Gailey came on, he changed the defense that was damn good. Rex screwed with the defense too.

I thought Rex hire would have meant the D would have been the same as it was. For whatever reason the defense just isnt the same when it comes to QB sacks and turnovers. The defense has had its moments and played well---the talent is there.
6 of their 7 loses can be drilled down to 2-3 plays in the game that made the difference.
injuries has been a big factor with this team this season.

Mike Pettine likely gets fired in cleveland--bring him in a D-coordinator. His defense was fine working with the same players.

Buffalo can still make the playoffs....
win out and....
1. Oakland lose a game either today or last 3
and 2 of the 3:
1. Jets lose 1 game in the next 2
2. Chiefs lose their last 3
3. Steelers lose 2 of their last 3
By losing today Buffalo would have the conference record tiebreaker on Pittsburgh. (DEN, at BAL, at CLE)
Chiefs would have them by head to head or conference so they have to have a better record (at BAL, CLE, OAK)
Buffalo needs the Jets to lose one and beat them in week 17 and then they would be ahead of them. ( at DAL, NE, at BUF)
Oakland would have a better conference record.(at DEN, GB, SD, at KC)

With them flexing Arizona at Philadelphia ...it's saying buffalo we don't think you are going to win at Philadelphia.

Teams general don't have their top WR on PR duties unless it's make or break time. I can't recall who the WRs ( there have been a few)was who would come out for PRs late in a game when behind.

This is a direct result of Eagles Cards game being flexed to Sunday night but really doesn't impact fans although some may end up getting game on local tv now and some who would hv may not
Funny thing....the records of Arizona and Philly could be the same as Cincy snd SF.
Buffalo and Washington if Washington win tonight would be better. Houston at Indy would be also better.
With cbs getting a game back and fox losing a game for FOX a game was going to fox....buffalo at Washington was the logical game because of the area conflict of Baltimore Also at 1pm on cbs.
I guess they don't think buffalo will beat philadelhia.

On buffalo making the playoffs.....
KC has a big edge. They beat buffalo, houstn, and Pittsburgh and went 1-3 against the NFC which means they have the tie breaker edge.
With Indy losing that means 2nd place will be a 7 loss team at least, thus no tiebreaker advantage with buffalo beating both Indy and Houston.
The issue is going to be a tiebreaker with Pittsburgh.....
Pittsburg plays Cincinnati, Denver, Baltimore, and Cleveland...
Buffalo and Pittsburgh if they tie at 10-6 will have the same conference record because both go 3-1 against the NFC.
Second tiebreaker is common games.....
Cincinati L Pitt, L Buffalo
New England. L Pitt LL buffalo
Indianapolis. W pit, W bufalo
Kansas City L Pitt, L buffalo
Buffalo needs cincinati to beat Pittsburgh so they end up tied at 1-4 common games. A Pitt win gives steelers the tiebreaker.
Third tiebreaker is strength of victory... Based on buffalo winning out snd Pittsburgh losing yo cincinnatio but winning their other 3 has buffalo ahead...but the next 3 weeks will determine this because the last week it's hard to gain any ground, at most you can gain 2 games ( your noncommon opponents)
If Pittsburg loses the next 2 weeks and buffalo wins the next 2 weeks puts them in the drivers seat and turns the bills/jets game into a winner take all game
As for elsewhere around the league......
Cincinnati Denver game coming up..if Denver wins could seal a top seed for Denver with them beating New England.
In 2 weeks Indianapolis and Houston play which could determine who wins the division.
In the NFC....
The NFC east is wide open. A Dallas win tonight puts them one game back
Carolina's magic number is 3 for top seed of their wins and Arizona loses.
Arizona is 3 games up with 4 to play. Arizona has a hard finish playing Philadelphia on the toad and hosting Green Bay and Minnesota. Them going 1] with the win at Philadelphia and seatyle going 3-0 puts a winner take all for the west in werk 17. If Arizona goes 1-2 with a win against Philadelphia will go to a strength of victory.
Green Bay and Minnesota have a rematch in werk 17 that could decide the division. This could be a scenario of teams trying yo lose. Would you rather play on the road at the NFC east or host seattle. Under a different scenario it could be where they have a rematch in the first week of the playoffs ( seattle/Arizona is 5 playing NFC east)
Tampa bay and Atlanta are each one game back. Tampa bay has a decent conference record who could pass seatyle if they were tied.

week 14: at PHL--with them losing on thxgvg not likely
week 15 at WAS--possibly if Washington wins the next 2 weeks (this week you have a bad game in CIN/SF on currently and not a standout candidate so you have options in this game and GB/OAK, AZ/PHL, HOU/IND and CHI/MIN)
week 16 DAL--not happening give Dallas lost
week 17 JETS---good shot if winner is in kind of game or Buffalo controls own fate where they win and in and lose and another team (possibly not the Jets get in)

Its jaylens decision...he could choose not to sign. Buffalo can give him more money to stay. I think an incentive is to get inside info on a team they are due to play.

You're dreaming...They will be lucky if they win in KC on a short week after a huge emotional loss. Then there are the injuries. Then there are the bunch of games against teams that appear to be at about the same level as these BIlls, the middle 3rd of the the league.
No way they win out and go 11-5.
Kansas City isn't that good.

If you guys are talking about that TD play:
Its a judgement of when his but hit the ground. You cant tell for sure his but hit the ground (cloth doesn't count) Its when you have certain but compression is happening at which point the ball is breaking the plane. This is also not factoring in angles of view.

It sucks to have a comeback like that only to lose.
it comes down to:
1. PI call
2. penalty on Shady's run to the 1 that forced us to settle for a FG instead of a TD
3. Shady hit causing a fuble at the 2....would have gotten a FG at least.

Last year baltimoRe had a ton of I juries and a poor start.
They starTed 1-6 and 4'8 with all the games one score games with many of them coming down to the last few minutes of the game. They easily could have gone 8-4 instead of 4-8 and been in the wildcard hunt last year.
