Billy Price Undergoes Surgery on His Torn Pec
K D replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's right! I think they only test you once a year if I'm not mistaken. Maybe since they tested him at the combine he's all set Looked like full tear on MRI and they opened it up and it was partial but they weren't able to fix anything because it was still mostly attached. But just the process or cutting you open and poking around in there does a lot of damage and you are hurting like a mofo for a while. So a little bit different than this injury. The goal of his surgery will probably be to reinforce the tendon to the bone with a screw and then also clean up any scar tissue. -

Billy Price Undergoes Surgery on His Torn Pec
K D replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After my surgery I couldn't even support myself leaning against a wall. He thinks he's going to play football this summer? Best of luck to him. You can't regain your strength that quickly. You are basically starting over from scratch strength-wise and it takes a lot of physical therapy to get your range of motion back. He will struggle year 1. Maybe he makes it back but he's probably not going all out in drills for a while. I have heard HGH has healing properties for this sort if injury so hopefully he doesn't get drug tested if he is able to make it back for camp because that would be suspicious. -
There are 4 QB's in the top 10 players. How is that reaching?

Well, the Bills are well underway in free agency
K D replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Davis and Ivory were cut by their teams so they won't count against or compensatory picks so it's good to sign these types of guys off the street rather than making a big splash with free agents. Adding veteran leaders for cheap which buys us time to build through the draft -
I like Ivory from 5 yrs ago. Not sure if he's the same guy at this point

I think Browns go Barkley 1, Mayfield 4. Giants will trade out with Denver who then picks Darnold at 2. Colts trade with us, Cards, or Jets and the pick is Rosen. If it's not the Jets picking at 3 then they will get Allen at 6. Giants pick Chubb or OL at 5. I think that would be the ideal draft for everyone based on who they want. 1. Browns - Barkley 2. Broncos - Darnold 3. Bills - Rosen 4. Browns - Mayfield 5. Giants - Chubb or Nelson 6. Jets - Allen 15. Cards - Jackson

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE OUR BILLS DO IN THE NEXT COUPLE MONTHS
K D replied to DKBills25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
QB, then who cares because we finally have a QB. Sign a bunch of nobodies at other positions and see who can play and get the rest of the pieces next year. 2-3 year process. For anyone against trading up for a QB, there's literally no FA or draft pick they are going to sign this year to put them over the top. You are playing for a few years out either way. -
Have we ever looked forward to an offseason as much?
K D replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get excited every offseason and then I get let down when they don't get a QB. Then I vow not to watch any games. But by the time the season starts they pull me back in -

Rumor: L.Jackson 2nd QB on Bills Board
K D replied to Ittakestime's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lamar Jackson represents great value for what he is. A starting QB for super cheap, Heisman winner, who could be had in the 15-21 range. The problem I have is he's not much better than what we already have in Tyrod. He will have similar output. Why would you draft a 1st round QB when you already have that player on your roster? Jackson will never be a 4000 yard passer, which is what you need to win games in this league. No thanks, let the Jets draft him -
I think the Bills draftingTWO QB's is in play

NFL Combine - Measurements, Times, and Other News
K D replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did anyone see during the d-back workout that they quoted coach McD as saying he looks for safeties that have played baseball and Poyer and Hyde both played baseball at a high level and it helps them track the ball. Interesting but not sure why he is giving away his secrets! -
We will have already spent our round 1 picks moving up to take a QB
-
If Browns pick Barkley you will see multiple teams trying to trade up to 2 and 3. Chance to get the #1 QB would be very valuable

Nope -
I thought he was going to take charge and be a leader at the combine like he did at the senior bowl. He was pretty quiet. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Their plan might have been to fly under the radar and let your arm do the talking. I think it was a bad move because nobody's arm is going to compare to Josh Allen's so what does Mayfield have that Allen doesn't? That's what he should have showed at the combine

Rotoworld- Giants leaning away from QB @ #2
K D replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TRADE!!!! they can get 3 top picks plus Glenn and they are considering using it on a Guard? that's the craziest thing i've ever heard -
His big arm has actually been a detriment to his development because like you said he can get away with most things that other QB's can't. There's been no need for him to work on it because he can throw late and still complete the pass by zipping it in there against bad competition. We saw in the Iowa game against better defenders that he wasn't getting away with that stuff. He threw late and got picked off twice. And that's against players that won't even make it to the NFL. The jump from Wyoming to the NFL is going to be drastic and he has a lot of things to fine tune before he's ready. If the Bills do draft him then I don't want to see him on the field in 2018. But you know how that goes. 1 bad game with whatever crap veteran QB we get and the fans will be going nuts for Allen to play
-
this group of QB's has been on everyone's radar for the past 2-3 yrs. everyone has been looking forward to this draft. THIS is the year to get a QB. there are 0 guys on that radar for next year. every so often there are guys that come out of nowhere and shoot up the draft board like Trubisky but that isn't a sure thing. if Dru Lock came out this year he would have been a 3rd or 4th rounder and he's probably the top guy next year, which is embarrassing. next year will probably be like the EJ draft where there are no good players so do you really want to chance it and wait?

Adrian Peterson is the greatest RB of this generation and was one of the best RB prospects I've ever seen in my entire life. He has 0 super bowl appearances and has only been in a handful of playoff games. Same with Barry Sanders, arguably the greatest RB of the previous generation . You can get RB's off the street if you have a great QB under center. It doesn't matter. RB's don't get you the Lombardi. QB is the most important position in all of sports.
