  1. Jealous - Enjoy!!!
  2. Quit the self-diagnosis. If the pain is that bad something is not right - go get it looked at.
  3. My suggestion on going through security is to wear sneakers, warmup pants or something that does not need a belt, and a tee shirt / long sleeve shirt. No Metal!! If you want to look nice (other than above) at your destination put it in a carry-on and change after going through security.
  4. Kind of? What is also disturbing is the lack of response from the board. The guy in the grey jacket cna't get out of his own way. Plus, no one from the audience (was there anyone else there?) bum-rushes this guy.
  5. Further details in Boston Herald article - Linky "Her attorney, Kevin English, said while doing a shoulder stretch, Barnhard had her hand on top of the leg extension machine, and it fell onto her when she stretched back with her shoulder and arm." Not sure of what "it" fell on her, the shoulder stretch or the leg extension machine.
  6. The Sabres certainly skated circles around my local BlueJackets here recently.
  7. My parents have some friends whose dog was named "Sabre". I think my next one will be named "Bison".
  8. Tgreg- I hear where you are coming from, but drafting a "franchise" QB is not as easy as you make it. If you make a mistake there I equate it to putting yourself in financial cap hell for 5-6 years. Here is my point. Look at Cleveland post-Kosar. Tim Couch, Charlie Frye, Jeff Garcia, Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn to name a few. All highly touted - all well paid (some a lot more than others). And, the Browns are still digging out of a QB hole. Some are layups (Manning), some are not (Montana). They just don't drop on your doorstop with signs on their chest that say "franchise qb." There are more swing and misses than hits. And, the spread / pistol offense, I feel, is really going to screw this up even more.
  9. Easy guy. Take a deep breath and step away from the edge. This team is in such a hole that the loss in Minn should have been seen ahead of time. Other than that game and 1 or 2 up on the front end, this team has been competitive. It is going to take some time.
  10. Was able to look at this last night. Seems to be a Win7 / WinVista issue. Computer at home is XP. Ran the rootfix that AVG suggested - all looks good for now. I will be investigating the others you suggest Dean. BTW - thanks for the heads up on this.
  11. I wonder how that officiating crew graded out for this game?
  12. That was so apparent. And the network continued to show the catch, but didn't show how Rice got into position. Oh well, . . .
  13. A true original.
  14. I did two things. One, was to have an impression of Tex's paw made in plaster. Two, was have her cremated. For my wife and myself I had a special picture of her and the paw print put together in a frame. Her remains are in a ceramic jar that we found together at Artfest this year that reminded us of her. The two sit proudly in our living room. ** Attached is a picture of Texana. She is sitting in the back of my VUE. I was cleaning the snow from the driveway. It was a$$ biting cold out, but the sun was brillant. I did not want her laying in the cold snow so I put her in the back of the truck with the gate open. She could have stay there all day looking at everything going on in her domain. **
  15. Marvelous, just freakin marvelous. But, thanks for the heads up. I will be investigating the other suggested AV software.
  16. For those of you that want your drink cold, but don't want to "bruise" the drink have you looked into these? Linky
  17. Joe - As everyone else has said before me - you'll know. But, from the tone of your post it sounds like you know. He won't be mad at you.
  18. And, two people stop after seeing the initial confrontation, then continue on their merry way.
  19. There are a lot of schools here in Ohio that pattern their helmet design after Ohio State and Michigan. Does that fall in the same vein as a logo?
  20. Bet there is some good story telling between he and Russ. Godspeed Jim.
  21. This was in yesterday's Monday Morning Quarterback article - 8. I think, speaking of the Bills, I've got to give props to owner Ralph Wilson this morning. When Wilson heard last week that I'd raised money from you readers running a half-marathon -- money that, in part, was going to fund a semi trailer full of food and household items sent by Oklahoma City-based Feed the Children to serve 400 needy Buffalo families -- he said he wanted to match that $7,500 going to Buffalo families and send another chock-full trailer. And so he did; the money will go to the Food Bank of Western New York. Feed the Children trailers will be in Buffalo and Cleveland disbursing their goods on Tuesday, with the Browns and Bills there helping. Thanks to all of you for making it happen. I'll have a couple of photos in the column next week, showing you how your donated money is helping those who need it most. He also comments positively - g. Buffalo's effort, every week. It's a little-engine-that-could team. "We feel fortunate to come away with a win,'' said Steeler coach Mike Tomlin. Feel? Try we definitely are fortunate . h. Buffalo defensive tackle Kyle Williams, with 10 tackles and two sacks of Ben Roethlisberger ... and four holding calls against the man blocking him, Chris Kemoeatu. Linky
