  1. With Omar it's her entire "body of work" so to speak. Her latest outburst could be considered benign, except that what I perceive to be her inferred intent is buttressed by her other recent utterings. She gets the benefit of the doubt the first time, and possibly the second, though I begin to grow wary. The third time within a two month window I know exactly who she is.
  2. You stated that you're critical of specific activities of the AIPAC, and have made an argument intended to influence the position of others (my assumption would be that you'd like them to adapt yours). It is not "asking you to do their homework" when they ask you about the policy specifics which guide your beliefs. It is them asking you to clarify your position in order that they are able to address it.
  3. The profit motivation is forced altruism. The more greedy you are, the more forced altruism you must engage in to secure your desired wealth. Capitalism is predicated on freedom. I cannot force you to buy my product or consume my service, and I must compete with others to provide those goods and services; so I must entice you to engage with me and enter into free exchange. In order to gain your business I must provide you with a product or service you desire at a cost you are willing to pay for it. If I cannot provide you with these things, then I shall have nothing in exchange because you are free to walk away. Socialism is different. Socialism compels behavior at the barrel of a gun. It is popularized theft.
  4. Unless, of course, that racism is directed at Jews? You should stick to just being wrong about socialism for now. I’m not sure you’re equipped to handle the beatings you’re about to receive on two fronts at once.
  5. Did your father have the autonomous declassifying authority of an acting Secretary of State, or was he a rank and file guy?
  6. Much of his offending content was either lost with the board transition, or is now rendered largely inaccessible by what has turned out to be a fairly useless board search engine. The poster in question used to frequently admit to laughing at the deaths of Americans in Benghazi, which has been what he’s largely know for ever since; but after the board transition those posts are lost and he now calls people who reference what he said liars. He’s a cancer.
  7. They didn’t “sell out to leftists”, they’ve always been owned by globalist statists, and have always worked towards those ends. They’re no more deceptive now than they’ve always been. The difference is that now, in the era of Trump, who stands opposed to their agenda (they’re part of the propaganda arm of the group who has run our country/the world for about 100 years or so), the veil is being torn because of the pervasiveness of alternative media, and the President’s resolve to stand against them. Again, they didn’t just now start telling egregious lies; it’s just that you’ve only begun to notice.
  8. /facepalm Stop being so thick. You claim to be an English teacher, so read. The utterance of the phrase “well spoken” when made to, or about, a black person in America is derogatory and racist, because it implies a superiority of cultural whiteness, and applauds the black individuals acceptance of its superiority, and following assimilation. What you said is racist. Full stop.
  9. They are naturally assigned skin color through their utterance, given the target of your descriptor. You engaged in racism. Full stop.
  10. No true Scotsman fallacy. You don’t get to toss that out and exempt yourself from the connotations assigned to the phrasing because of your own experience. In fact, your experience in and of itself in this regard is racist. The only way for you not to be racist is to beg mea culpa for your inherent racist, and deny that your experience matters even a little bit. You have no standing.
  11. How is it possible that you’re this thick? All the pieces that have been linked to you, several scholarly, and at least one a first hand accounting given by a black woman about what It means to call a black person “well spoken” go on to say that “well spoken” when said in that context implies that the black person speaking possesses a cultural whiteness (which encompasses proper diction and a strong volcabulary) which is preferable to a cultural blackness which does not, which shows inherent racial bias (IE racism). There is no wiggle room here.
  12. You might be the least self-aware poster who has ever wandered down here. It is absolutely hilarious how little you actually know when contrasted against your self-assuredness that you’re speaking from a place of understanding. You have a lot of growing up to do. On the way to doing so, humble yourself and attempt to actually learn something.
  13. @transplantbillsfan I‘m more interested in knowing for what other crimes the decendents, or worse, people who share immutable features with the decendents, of people who did things that we find to be wrong in modern times can be held accountable and punished for.
  14. Of course he doesn’t. He’s a 20-something kid with his head three feet up his ass, who has managed to convince himself through a misguided sense of self importance (a trait all too common in his generation) that he has all the answers, and understands the world.
  15. You chose to laugh at a post in which I stated President Trump was on a Washingtonian arch, citing his record on freeing slaves. This leads me to believe you aren’t opposed to human slavery.
  16. @transplantbillsfan So you support human slavery?
  17. Tell me how she got those jobs, and tell me about her achievements in those roles.
  18. Indeed you have.
  19. He’s on an arch that brings him close to Washington. He’s freed more slaves than Lincoln.
  20. What? This is stupid. What other jobs to you believe have transative properties to the spouse of the professional? Doctors? Lawyers? Wealth mangers? Plumbers? Electricians?
  21. I’ll remind you that Barack Obama was the most popular candidate of all time in terms of votes cast. President Trump won the Pesidential election doing worse than Mitt Romney, who was a milquetoast candidate. Conservatives are both a) abhorred by the New Democratic Party Line (IE. I’ll stay home if it’s a choice between Trump and Clinton, but I’ll be damned if I stay home if it’s a choice between open borders and infanticide, and Trump), and b) galivinized by both Trump’s record as Executive, and the behavior of rank and file progressives making war on them, often violently. I believe President Trump secures 72-75m votes in 2020.
  22. @transplantbillsfan The extreme left of the party controls the agenda. The Party platform of the Democratic Party is outlined in the Green New Deal, augmented by things like infanticide. What percentage of the country do you think that appeals to? Balance that against the power of incumbency, a unified conservative America that was fragmented heavily to years ago, a robust economy, and the #walkaway movement amongst former Democratic strongholds...
  23. @transplantbillsfan The other major factor to consider is how large the group of individuals who will vote for President Trump 2020, who didn’t/refused to in the last election, has grown. Self professed, you don’t spend much time in PPP. I think you would be absolutely astounded by the percentage of this sub-forum, which you probably believe to be “right-leaning” but is actually far more libertarian/classically liberal, were very vocally anti-Tump in 2016. These are people, like myself, who feared the President would act as the Democrat he had been in public life for the last 40 years. We thought he’d destroy American conservatism forever. We were wrong, and have been extremely pleased, in many cases, with President Trump’s leadership. I can’t speak for others here, but I’ll be enthusiastically casting my ballot for the President in 2020; and I think they will too. I feel this is representitive of a huge cross-section of American voters.
  24. Actually this is all wrong. I provided you with data in the main thread discussing human trafficking. The overwhelming majority of border patrol agents think a wall will help curb human trafficking, and make their jobs easier in that regard. I cited a study and multiple other sources. You disregarded that data, and stated that border patrol agents were a bunch of racist hillbillies and you weren’t interested in their opinions for that reason, until I provided you with the racial/ethnic makeup of the border patrol, pointing out that the majority were Hispanic; at which point you huffed and puffed before running away.
