The criminalization of wrong-think has long been a tool of the totalitarian left. You see it everywhere. - Deplatforming of conservative speakers on tech platforms, and at live speaking engagements. - The prosecution of individuals who "misgender" - The attempt to pathologize normal male sexuality - The drive to have President Trump's foreign policy differences criminalized And these are just recent examples. Look across the history of Marxism you you'll find these consistent themes.

I’m not a huge Shapiro fan in terms of his daily podcast, but his Sunday show is must watch. I wish there were more of this type of thing. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

This isn’t accurate. You’ll note the ever changing timeline as to when the spying (specifically the 702s) began. The reason for this is that the spying began long before Trump declared for President; and Trump wasn’t the only person spies on. The spying actually began under the Bush Administration , and was used all throughout the Obama Administration, in order to spy on political opponents, members of both houses of Congress, Supreme Court Justices, members of the news media, public figures, Governors and other members of state governments, other candidates for federal office including President (all campaigns were spies on in 2016), in order to create leverage over them as a tool to dictate policy. IE you’ll do as we say or we’ll destroy you with your secrets. This happened in relation to both votes on the floor of Congress, and SCOTUS decisions, corrupting our entire system of government. President Trump wasn’t unique in any other way, other than that he defied them, and then that he beat them. Queue the coverup: They were sure that they had managed to rig the election, and would be able to continue their game, as Clinton would have simply continued the practice, and none of it ever would have been exposed. So when the didn’t win, they were unprepared and got sloppy. They had to backwards justify what they had been doing, hence the Russia nonsense, and the coup attempt in order to force the President to resign so they could return to business as usual with the help of a complicit media, who would help them sweep everything under the rug. But again it didn’t work, and Trump won. This is where we are now.

- Trump is a Russian agent - Trump not Russian asset, but colluded with Russia - Trump didn’t collude with Russia, but Russia acted on his behalf - There was no Russian collusion, but Trump obstructed justice - There was no obstruction of justice, but AG Barr is a Trump stooge - We did not spy on the Trump Campaign - The word "spying" is incendiary language <- YOU ARE HERE - Some people spied, but it was an accident - There was intentional spying, but it was predicated on a good, and properly run intelligence operation - There was spying, it wasn’t based on good intelligence, but it was done by a few rogue bad apples - We ordered and coordinated the spying, but there was no cover up - There was a cover up, but not to hide the fact that we tried to rig a federal election - We tried to rig a federal election, but not with the help of our international allies - We tried to rig a federal election with the help of our international allies, but did not attempt a coup in order to oust a duly elected President to cover our tracks - We attempted a coup edit: borrowed from somewhere I cannot remember, and improved upon.

Julian Assange taken into custody
TakeYouToTasker replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Update: Third hand account, so take it for what it’s worth, but Assange is in British court as we speak, and it looks as though he is going to be extradited to the US. -
In violation of international law. The timing is very suspicious. I suspect that we never hear from Mr. Assange again. He’s probably already dead.

They are. They have to do it in a way that is compliant with the law; further, the Democrats clamoring for its immediate release know this. They’re trying to manipulate you, weaponizing your ignorance of the law. Ask yourself why they’d do this, then ask yourself why you’d trust someone who does this to be honest with you.

Someone has far to high an opinion of his own efforts and importance. If you’re valuable and working to your capacity, your job isn’t “cushy” (larger “you”), but you’re not a coal miner. You’re not a roofer. You’re not on your knees laying cement. -
He’s consolidating power by... Following the law, working within his Constitutional mandates, decreasing the size and scope of the Executive Branch, unentangling our military from fruitless and costly foreign engagements, and forcing Congress to legislate? Well, that’s brilliant! No wonder no one noticed his ruthless extra-Constitutional powertaking, he hid it in his broad based ceding of Executive powers in a return to Constitutionalism! That’s genius! Just like all the global warming hiding at the bottom of the ocean! Moron.
