Scott Chandler was signed the day after he was cut. Issues on offense notwithstanding, Mike was traded for a 6th round pick, one season removed from a very good one. There was a reason for that and it wasn't because of anyone on the Bills. Then, he got jettisoned from Buffalo. And still, no suitors. At this point, I think it's clear what Marrone did. He took little to no risks on offense, played field position and relied heavily on our defense to win games. Our offense sucked, and he was cognizant of that, even if he was responsible.

What solid starter do you see in FA? What solid starter do you see being cut in camp? Our cuts are Chris Williams, I don't see the Bengals releasing Bollig in July. Levitre departed in the off season before 2013. Offseason - 2013 - offseason - 2014 - offseason - 2015. Three offseasons. It's not over yet, but I don't have faith they'll find another average to above average guy at this point in FA. The original point was would it have been worth it to "overpay" on Bollig and maybe miss out on a Harvin. I don't know, but I can understand that argument.
