  1. Pete Carrol is a 9/11 truther. Would you let him coach the Bills?
  2. It says the last time we played the Dolphins in primetime was 2012.
  3. Why appearances and not wins? I'm just kidding with you anyway, John, I just would roll the dice rather than waiting for Big Ben 2.0.
  4. I would say he should be frustrated from the last 5 years. They demolished that super team and never got to that level of talent again.
  5. Who won the most recent Super Bowl, Saints or Steelers?
  6. So be it. I'd roll the dice for the next 3 years with Rivers and this gang if we have to blow it up in 4-5 years. In a heartbeat. The time is now.
  7. Who ever said QB is all that matters? Chargers have had a wildly more successful run with Rivers than the Bills have in that time. Brady took 10 years to win his last Superbowl, is that what you consider real success? What's your barometer for success?
  8. True, but if he could, would you overlook that other stuff?
  9. But can he play?
  10. http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2015/04/former_oregon_duck_colt_lyerla_2.html With a semi-hole at TE #2, and a UDFA cheap contract, does Lyerla make any sense?
  11. You are the one who said it. Our freedoms prevent the US government from opposing its citizens. That is something they have done when left unchecked, yes?
  12. So the freedoms allowed by those things has limited the government, who would do evil if we gave them too much power?
  13. Do you think gay marriage/marijuana legalization fronts are drawing as much government opposition as slavery/civil rights?
  14. Okay, I'm going to try again. Like you said, governments went to war to defend things like slavery. To defend continuing that practice. Now imagine they have the technology and lack of privacy of 2015. Do you think folks would rise up to rally to end slavery in that country? Do you think the government, that went to war to maintain slavery, wouldn't hunt through their emails and brand them traitors?
  15. No, you stupid mother!@#$er. Use your brain for once.
  16. The internet would also be used against them. How do you get people to a rally if you're afraid to send them an email? Or afraid to call them on the phone?
  17. And they would've lost if they went against the 2015 government.
  18. You made the argument that the completion percentage shows that EJ is the more accurate passer at this stage. I don't think it does. The main reason was that I didn't want to add two different data sets with a calculator. 2013+2014 would probably be best. However, Greg Roman will be working with the EJ who is coming off the 2014 campaign, not the 2013 one.
  19. For your consideration. Is there a difference between this and that? Just curious.
  20. I thought we were talking Smith pre-Roman. Want me to compare his second year to EJ's? Okay. 2006 Alex Smith passes thrown 11-20 yards - 47% completion. 2014 EJ Manuel passes thrown 11-20 yards - 37% completion. 2006 Alex Smith passes thrown 11+ yards - 40% completion. 2014 EJ Manuel passes thrown 11+ yards - 32% completion. And 2006 Alex Smith yet again killed him in every category except completion percentage behind the LOS.
  21. EJ completed 32% of his passes 10+ yard past the LOS in 2014. Alex Smith completed 41% of his passes 10+ yards past the LOS in 2010. In the intermediate range of 10 - 20 yards, EJ completed 37% of his passes in 2014. Alex Smith completed 47% in 2010. Alex Smith in 2010 had a better completion percentage in every type of forward pass. The EJ of 2014 only had one better when it was behind the LOS. Or 41+ yards, of which both QB's only had 2 attempts.
  22. A strong contender for the crown.
  23. So it will be just another post for me then? I can't think of an answer.
