  1. Ah, personally, I consider guys who give their opinions to be "personalities," not just someone who gets camera time.
  2. She's a reporter, not a personality.
  3. EJ played two years. Bortles played one. Bad comparison.
  4. No, he didn't. He only started 5 games. EJ started 10, and Tuel had 1.
  5. Shocked Mike Williams is on there. Doesn't some GM know he had a bunch of touchdowns 3 years ago?
  6. No, because a wrongful conviction would be a raw deal. We aren't taking the "committing murder" thing literally, are we? I just assumed that was hyperbole. No one thinks Spikes is tweeting about how murder should be legal.
  7. What? Thad went 2-3 as a starter, and threw more TD's than INT's. By your criteria, he was an excellent back-up. One season later, he was cut for sucking so bad.
  8. Remember when Thad was an excellent back-up? He had a decent record, more TD's than INT's. Then he wasn't so excellent.
  9. Why would he not understand the justice system these days, unless he thinks they got it wrong?
  10. Every team without a good QB wants to run the ball effectively and always be able to fall back on it, John. It's not that simple to run the ball and have it "work no matter what." No. I don't know what he's trying to say. Either EJ is this amorphous blob of QB talent or he's "an excellent backup." He can't be both. Young QB's go up or down, they don't plateau this early.
  11. That is my point. How do we know he's an excellent back up? Is Kyle Orton really relevant here?
  12. I have. I've seen many QB's get worse and worse as they play more and there's more tape. Trent was playing like "at least an excellent back up," only a year or two before he was out of football all together.
  13. He's an excellent backup? How do we know?
  14. Right, he just wrote that tweet mere minutes after a college teammate of his got convicted in one of the biggest cases in the USA. Just a coincidence. If Spikes tweeted, "I'm confused about airplanes these days," a few minutes after the Malaysian plane news broke, would you insinuate no connection?
  15. If something isn't permitted, it's not authorized. If something is forbidden, it's specifically banned. Does this debate really need to continue? Why would you insult someone's English when the definitions he uses are correct? And when it is clear as day what he meant?
  16. While that's true, I rank Chandler over every TE on our roster excluding Clay. Big Sammy better be somebody.
  17. Who goes if Clay can't? If Roman is half the coach that people say he is, he could've found a way for Scott to be productive.
  18. This is revisionist history for 99% of Bills fans. I don't remember your opinion on it specifically, but the prevailing opinion on this board was that Chan didn't give Spiller the ball enough, and that he needed it more. Chan was the one who "misused" Spiller by not feeding him. Then, Spiller sucked, and we found out that Chan was right on the mark. Pre-2013, it was all "Spiller should be getting 20 to 25 touches and Fred 5 - 10." Not Swiss Army Knife.
  19. It's stupid in the context of the case, too.
  20. Can we fire her before we find out anything more?
  21. Keep Calm and MURICA oN.
  22. I thought I was onto something there.
