Where's the win percentage? Haven't seen that posted yet. I've been arguing "no one has more than 4 wins," not percentages.
Feel free to make that argument. I've only seen he has the most wins.
Sometimes you win games as an inferior opponent. Happens all the time in the NFL. Rex has proven that his 3 wins in 2009 and 2010 against BB were not something he would ever replicate. It's why the Jets finally fired him. It's why when you compare him to the list of other coaches with 1 win or more against BB in the 5 years, there's 2 categories. Coaches who suck and usually got fired but managed to win a game against the Pats, and coaches who have had recent and usually sustained playoff success and accolades. It's not very difficult to see which side Rex falls in.
Talk about setting yourself up for surprise...
Rex got lucky getting to those 4 wins, as history has shown. When you play the Pats the most in the last 6 years, you'll win a handful. Ask Joey Philbin.
Half a decade is a really long time without replicating success. It's definitely a long enough time to get someone fired, as we all know.
Since 2011, here's a list of people with more or equal wins against BB as Rex.
Chan Gailey.
John Fox.
Gary Kubiak.
Tom Coughlin.
Mike Tomlin.
John Haurbaugh.
Pete Carrol.
Jim Haurbaugh.
Ken Whisenhunt.
Marvin Lewis.
Ron Rivera.
Joe Philbin.
Andy Reid.
Mike McCarthy.
Doug Marrone.
Todd Bowles.
Dan Campbell.
Chip Kelly.
And some QB's...
Kevin Kolb.
Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Alex Smith.
Sam Bradford.
Ryan Tannehill.
Kyle Orton.
Praise be to Rex!
Nah dude, because he'll come back better than ever. It doesn't suck at all.
Even if it did suck, which it doesn't, with us paying attention to reality and all, some would never admit it.
