I am putting together a default yahoo league together for the TBD crew. This will be done on a first come first server basis. It is just for fun, no money involved. It will be a 12 team league with standard settings with a W/R/T flex spot added in. The information to join is below. I am SOOO ready for football season to start, and this adds a little bit to our excitement!!! GO BILLS!! Bills Future in Buffalo Partly Sunny
Awwufelloff replied to jimmy10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would pay 200-300 per ticket to keep the team here. They only play 7 games here, that is soo cheap. The sabres average ticket price in the 100 level is like 100+ per ticket with 42 games! I will do anything necessary to keep the team here. -
Sabres were supposed to win the Stanley this year on paper, we did not even make the playoffs. This is not a game on paper, I will reserve anything until we actually see them play in the regular season and put up a crap load of sacks!

Bills/Toronto series extended 5 years
Awwufelloff replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wait so does this guarantee that the Bills are in Buffalo for at least another 5 years!??!?! WOOHOO! Great news. I went to the game last year in Toronto against the RedSkins where we beat them 23-0. The atmosphere was pretty good, outside after the game there were bands playing and everyone was cheering for the Bills. It was a great time! Making more fans of our team up north! =) -
Hopefully Terry Pegula buys the Bills and builds us a new stadium! He spent quite a bit in fixing up HSBC to have the best locker rooms in the entire NHL!.

I stand corrected, thanks. I just was under the impression everyone had all stadiums within the confines of the city. It usually is the better avenue to follow IMO. Did not Dallas just build a billion dollar stadium in the city? It would certainly beautify the Buffalo waterfront having an amazing football stadium with a retractable roof overlooking lake Erie. (Especially in the summer) So much space there not being used at all...

I really hope the Bills build a stadium downtown like every other franchise in every professional sport... Why are we the odd man out?

If you would of told me all of this stuff would of happened a few months ago, I would of laughed in your face. Cannot believe this...Still in shock! -
How much have Bills improved??
Awwufelloff replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree, Sabres looked sick on paper as well with the highest payroll in the NHL. They did not even make the playoffs! -
Hasselbeck vs Hoge on the Saints

Wow...He almost died because of the concussions received in the NFL...People who have not played in the NFL should not be NFL analyst IMO...There opinions mean nothing really. -

2nd WR and Back up QB, maybe LB as well?
-
Rankings mean nothing to me until the games actually start. Look at what happened to the Sabres. Highest Payroll in the NHL+Winning FA and did not even make the playoffs...Same thing can be said of the Eagles last year "Dream Team". All is meaningless until the games get going!

RD 3, Pick #69: WR TJ Graham - NC State
Awwufelloff replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he could turn into a Mike Wallace type WR or even Antonio Brown who was a special teams player turned WR we would have a complete steal in this guy. Like most reviews state, speed cannot be taught. route running can. Lets just hope he has some good hands! -
Rd 5, Pick #147: LB Tank Carder - TCU
Awwufelloff replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Positives: Non-stop motor; seems to never get tired and will always be around the football. Very good short area quickness; is up there with any linebacker in his first two steps. Negatives: He really needs to get into the weight room and get stronger if he wants to hold up for the grind that is the NFL season. His aggressiveness can be a problem because he has a tendency to overrun plays. Great pickup! He should bulk up a bit more with our other Florida State LB friend whose jacked as I ever seen haha. -
RD 4, Pick #105: LB Nigel Bradham - FSU
Awwufelloff replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This dude is beyond cut...HOLY **** That picture is intimidating even at the NFL level haha! -
Totally agree. If you can pin them inside the 20 on every kickoff and punt, you allow our defense to possibly get some safeties and better the field position for Fitz so he does not have to go down the entire field every possession!
-
RD 4, Pick #124: CB Ron Brooks - LSU
Awwufelloff replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, during a Buddy interview he talked about how on any other team he is a starting DB, he said he chose the wrong school to go to because LSU has Claiborne type DBs in the woodwork for years to come! Crazy! -
Buffalo Bills 2012 NFL Overall Draft Grade
Awwufelloff replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You did not watch the whole thing. About 30 seconds towards the end they talk about the Bills and how good we did.... Also who cares what Kiper says, look at what he did last year. ^^ http://www.ninersnation.com/2012/1/11/2700326/mel-kiper-regrade-49ers-2011-nfl-draft-class -
Rd 7, Pick #25: K John Potter - Western Michigan

RD 3, Pick #69: WR TJ Graham - NC State
Awwufelloff replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've read reports that TJ Graham's 4.41 time reported at the combine is inaccurate. It was Graham's slower time. He ran a 4.41 and a 4.29, which gives him a 4.35 (fastest combine WR time this year was 4.36). These reports jive with Graham's training and prep -- he expected to run a sub 4.3 time. It also makes picking him in the 3rd round much more sensible. The Bills just did their homework on his speed. What's interesting there is not the 0.06 second correction so much as the 4.29 low. That's elite NFL speed, the sort that you need to burn NFL corners. Only a handful of NFL receivers have that sort of speed. Graham's got it, and now the Bills do too. I believe we'll also be one of two teams with multiple players on offense with sub 4.3 speed, the Raiders being the other. We got the fastest WR in the draft folks.
