  1. Nope. Tried that last week. Got me nowhere.
  2. I'm guessing it's the same reason we continue to throw 3 yard passes on 3rd & 10, 3rd & 18, 3rd & 12...
  3. We should be more thankful that he graces our airwaves with his presence.
  4. Judman - you interested in a ticket for Sunday?
  5. I'm gonna pimp it here as the date approaches and hopefully get a bunch of fellow TBD'ers to come by.
  6. Yeah we are playing. Hopefully we'll get a mass of AC/DC fans there.
  7. Does anyone know who runs the "World's Biggest Tailgate Party" in the lot on the West side of Abbott (across from the stadium in one of the official lots)? Is it the Seneca Nation or Smoking Joe's smoke shop or something like that?
  8. I'm betting this was someone he knew. WGRZ (or one the the local stations...) had a blurb on a few minutes ago featuring an interview with a police officer who implied the same by suggesting it was likely that the perpetrator may have been in the residence legally.
  9. Just to pile on the grammar train: It would be best to say "Lee and me" as it's considered more polite to reference yourself last in a compound subject. And yeah - eff ESPN.
  10. If I include that one as number 10, that means I was at 5 of the 10. God, we are suckers for abuse.
  11. Get off my lawn!
  12. I think the team initially won't be so great, but by the end of the year I bet they are performing at a higher level.
  13. What a dickbag. Come TBD'ers, you know what to do. Start flooding his inbox.
  14. Does it do horizontal backwards as well, or just the vertical? If it's just the vertical, then most likely in a menu there is an option for an axis inversion. And no, I'm not stalking you CodeMonkey
  15. I'm pretty sure that would put you in the minority then. I know plenty of football fans in the area who either dislike the Bills or at the very least have other favorite teams. I'm certain if I were to ask them if they would prefer the Bills to either remain a slightly below average team or pack it in and leave they would choose the former. Regarding the Jills, they aren't bad but they don't compare in terms of hotness to some of the other teams. I don't that I have an explanation, but perhaps squads like those associated with the Cowboys and Dolphins are much more well known and therefore are able to draw from a larger pool of potential candidates. It may also have more to do with the popularity of cheering in the area as well. I would suspect cheering is more popular in the South - just a guess though.
  16. I'm still pretty sure you missed the point which is this: It's better to have a local professional football team than to not have one, even if you are just a football fan with no specific allegiance to a given team. I'm not saying you aren't entitled to that opinion, but I think you are in the minority for sure. I'd find it highly improbable that there are large numbers of sport fans that wouldn't want a professional franchise in their area, lousy or otherwise.
  17. Way to miss the point entirely. The analogy was meant to counter the notion that fans are supporting mediocrity, when in fact we are simply trying to enjoy the only real option at watching live professional football. The alternative (not supporting it) would likely mean that the option to attend a game would eventually cease to exist (in practical terms that is; I like not having to travel a long diatnce to watch an NFL game in person). So again - eat a turd or starve, assuming live football is what you hunger for. I feel the analogy stands up quite well. But if you want to stay home, more power to you.
  18. Nope. I was just trying to point out that when given the option for having a lousy NFL team versus no NFL team, the option is pretty clear for a football fan. See, it's this thing called an analogy...
  19. So if you were starving would you rather die or be forced to eat lousy food?
  20. Thanks gang!
  21. I just said the same thing to a friend via email.
  22. I'm not sure we watched the same clip. I didn't come away with a very good feeling at all.
