Lindy would be in heaven out here with this ownership. Very aggressive getting players not getting rid of them. Ruff would be at the top of my wish list with Craig Mctavish 2nd. Both these guys get a lot done with not so much. Can't imagine what they could accomplish with a budget.

At the risk of sounding like some sort of old pervert it was the opposite in my niece case. All were pretty damn hot(for high schoolers) and she never mentioned any of them being lesbian. We did have a picture floating around of her senior team year. I wish I knew where it was I would post it up.

Sharks don't suck boomer. My wife wasn't too hard on me. It wasn't just the beer though. I was doing a lot of yelling at the tv as well. She was ok. Just getting upset that I was getting so upset. It was pretty much the same cliched super hero plot line. That said I still really enjoyed it. Mostly because Jeff Bridges was his usual outstanding self and Downey was different and entertaining as Tony Starks. Also was a cool movie to watch with Industrial Lights and Magic doing the effects. I give it a 7.5/10

I'm with you. Bills move I'm done. The product has become more and more boring every year. It's athletes unlikeable. TV has made the game almost unwatchable. I love the Bills though much more than I love football so once the Bills are gone so am I. No way I pay DTV and Sunday Ticket just to keep up on pools.

Popularity has never necessarily equated to quality. Check out Micheal Jackson and hip hop music. The most successful movies suck because they are made to appeal to the masses. Quality, originality is sacrificed to sell tickets. Fact is soccer is much more accessible to the rest of the world. Easy to play. No equipment to buy. Great for 3rd worlders. I went to the Sharks/Stars playoff game Friday and no way soccer can match that type of energy. The level of excitement was incredible. Soccer, with its less than pedestrian pace does not lend itself to that kind of excitement. Bad and simple game created for the great unwashed that is the rest of the world.

No way they allow tailgating. Maybe a castrated version sponsored by the Fan590 or something lame like that. Canada not as free as the US as far as that stuff goes.

Pretty spot on assessment Mark. I think a lot of what you say about Keenan and the refs is true but I also think the league has a distorted and flawed perspective on officiating the playoffs. They seem to think that not calling anything or swallowing the whistle makes for a fairer outcome. This rationalization has always puzzled me. Are they not deciding a game by letting teams cheat? For example, with the Flames down but not dead yet(due to the nature of this series with teams coming back from large deficits) and JT blatantly slashed and not getting called. Sharks cans score and finish the Flames off. Game decided not by the refs CORRECT call but by the foolish player the slashed Joe. If the Flames are to score after the incorrect non call, this could easily change momentum their way to a possible comeback. Why is the game put in the hands of some dopey ref? His job is to call infractions whenever and by whomever. STOP! Not make god like judgments on when to do so. In their vigor to not get involved and effect the game they end up distorting outcomes. The Sharks lack of killer instinct has been a persistent problem as well. Especially since Wilson took over. It really did stretch this series farther than necessary. The two teams in the entire league I was afraid of going into the playoffs were Calgary and Dallas. Well, one is down. Dallas, imho, is the Stanley Cup series. I can't see any teams from the East getting with the Sharks if they get on a roll and I don't think the Wings are the real deal. Too many euros. Average goal tending.

Great win by the Sharks despite the best efforts of Watson and O'Hallaran to keep the Flames in the game by looking the other way as they continued to hack. What is it about the teams in Alberta that make their teams so hack? Anyway, Clowe, Pavalski and Roenick standouts. Thorton not too shabby either. Not sure whats going on in Campbells head though. GO SHARKS!
