  1. Exactly. Cry me a river. Best post of the year so far. Teachers a lot like farmers. Always crying poor. Drive by thier homes they have a new Expedition in the driveway and a Arlen Ness custom chopper parked beside it.
  2. Ive seen them 3 times and the last time was at the 2005 Warped Tour in SF. Hard working band that doesnt seem to want to leave the stage. Fun band. Would go to see them any time and im happy to hear they have a new cd coming out.
  3. Interesting how the anger is directed toward the school and its lack of union presence. My first reaction was anger towards the neanderthal that assaulted her.
  4. You had to like "Happy Gilmore". After that, not much I agree.
  5. Rosie O'Donnell Jennifer Anniston Jessica Parker Any of those hens on the View Oprah Winfrey
  6. Pens a bit away yet. One line teams don't do well in the playoffs. Especially smallish teams with not a lot of physical guys. Even though its the "new" NHL it still a much more physical affair in the post season.
  7. I love the peace dove tie. I have no problem with fighting as long as it doesnt come with the clutch and grab bs. To me, thats the real illness in the game.
  8. Not sure if Cheechoo and Thorton are saints but they are decent guys. No controversy what so ever. Never hear any crap like they want to play in Toronto and I know they don't have a bunch of kids running around. Hey, if they are single and having fun no problem. I do agree with you on the actors and politicians though. Cheechoo is an especially interesting story actually. There was a great story on him in ESPN magazine.
  9. But even that would be too late to cause a pos like this any real discomfort. He's already got over by making millions. He is just one more reason for me to turn my back on the NFL forever. I feel like a douche paying to watch these guys.
  10. Exactly my complaint with it. I counted last time I watched it(2nd show I believe) and they asked a total of 6 questions the entire show. Foxworthy is amazingly unfunny for a established stand up comedian. Really bad show all around. Catchy title sucks people in but it goes downhill in a hurry after that.
  11. Mark me down as one for fighting. Easy for me to say I guess since im not in there taking shots. Last night, Sharks Mark Bell took out Thrashers John Sim for the year by busting his orbital in this . I like fights but I don't like seeing guys seriously hurt. Unless its someone like Torres on the Oilers.
  12. Do you ever watch Survivor man on the Sci-Fi Channel? Great show.
  13. Nice to be insulated from the bloodshed! Damn I wish I could assign the hits to someone else
  14. The guy I didn't want to let go was broken hearted I think. It would have been better if he was pissed at me and called me a ahole. Now I just feel bad. He's a great worker with a good attitude but just didn't have the ability I needed with a trimmed down staff. Sucks. Thanks for the sympathy but at least i'm still working. Unlike those guys so I can't feel too sorry for myself.
  15. The Tank is a treat to go watch hockey. Especially the lower level where the nice bars and buffet are. It really is a nice night out albeit an expensive one and when Joe and the Sharks are rolling they can be a joy to watch. Much like the Sabres.
  16. As much as I like Crosby I personally don't think he is the best overall player in the league. Joe Thorton would be that guy. No one can take over a game and own a team in their end like he can. Outstanding player. I think the biggest edge he has over Crosby and the league is his size. Impossible to move off the puck. Also, he refuses to give up the puck until he makes a positive play with it. Problem is he is playing out here on the west coast away from the hockey centers of the world. If he was on the Leafs he would be getting the press and hype that Sid enjoys. jmho
  17. Kind of overdue. Since 9/11 our business gradually declined and we became overstaffed. Finally had to cut down. 3 of the 4 I really won't miss but it still is pretty hard thing to do. Ive had to do it before but never this many at one time. Anyone else ever been in this situation?
  18. Hey! Don't jump to conclusions. I was listening to Howard Stern and he has a campaign going to make this guy the winner. Trying to get all his listeners to vote for him as a joke. The goal is to ruin the "integrity" of the show and ultimately bring about it's demise. I had to watch to see who he was talking about. True story.
  19. Bill Maher (Little weasel.) Robin Quivers(It's kinda cool how someone with so little going for her can pull such a awesome paycheck. Talk about a gravy trainer!) Star Jones (See Robin Quivers) Nice thread btw
  20. You might want to rethink the thread title. I was expecting to see a link to that fruity Sanji guy on Idol or something.
  21. I'm sorry. I know somewhere in the back of my mind this is the reason we don't have a pooch right now. Don't want to have to deal with losing the guy.
  22. We go to quite a few movies and have found the earliest shows of the day are the least annoying. We try to get a 11.30am flick or as close as we can get to it. Usually, if the movie has been out for a week or more, the theater is anywhere from 1/8th full to half full at the most. This makes for lots of spread out comfort room and there is never any ignorant or dopey people there with infants. Anyway, not sure what time of day you go. If going to the later shows is your habit give the early matinee's a shot.
  23. It can get better. Switch the Sabres to the Sharks back to back and trade March for October when the NFL is going.
  24. I absloutely refused to go to that movie with wife and kid. Sometimes you have to make a stand. That was my line in the sand so to speak.
  25. Biff Beeper would have been catchier. For me dante ="Dante Hicks" from "Clerks"
