  1. I may be a bit harsh but she really did seem out of place. In the end, I don't think her part was big enough to really hurt the movie anyway. Just that when I see her act like that in a big movie I figure she has to know someone or daddy got her part or something. No way she got there on talent. It would have been nice to have Nicole Kidman back.
  2. We saw it today. Solid movie. Good flick. Did have some flaws. Batman was drab I agree. The people around him were more interesting(M.Caine and Morgan Freeman). The girl was absolutely horrible(Maggie Gyllenhaal). Can't act a lick. Pretty average looking as well. Her character was bland as hell. But I thought the story moved along pretty well. Special effects and gadgets were good. And I do agree that The Joker was the movie. Without that performance it drops from my 7.5/10 rating to a 6/10. For me the super hero thing is getting a little tired but I am interested in The Spirit coming out later. I used to love the Warren Magazine version of those comics.
  3. No news is good news I suppose
  4. Look at all that brown in the second video. Damn global warming!!!! Should have listened to that guy who invented the internet. Were all doomed!
  5. Any news on Millbank?
  6. I distinctly remember, Sabres Vs Canucks when they had those real ugly(almost all of their uni's have been) V jerseys. I was sitting in the ends somewhere and not seeing 12 of those blech shirts on the ice coming towards me. Was unable to stop the double vision even while concentrating to do so. Not sure if it was the same game but I do remember collapsing under my own weight while in the beer line. Got up real quick though. Like a flash knockdown in boxing. Pretty embarrassing. Even now posting about it. I'm sure there was no work for me the next day either.
  7. GO SHARKS!!!!
  8. Just what we need. Big government looking after us. Who's protecting us from them?
  9. I used to love doing those double headers. It went like this. Get to Rich by 9.30.Tailgate. Drink beers. Go to game. Drink more beers. Game ends go to parking lot. More beers for a little while. Go to Memorial Aud. Buy tix from scalpers. Go up Main to Anchor Bar. Beers and wings. Back to Sabre game. Go home and pass out. Ahhh the good old days. Not sure if my body(and more specifically my liver) could stand that kind of workout anymore.
  10. NetFlix or at the theater?
  11. This is disgusting. Watch the top link first then the review by these two dopes. Pretty funny. "Major pumping required" LOL
  12. Oline is the most important thing. Agree 100 %
  13. Crap. For some reason I thought I was gonna see Kate Hudson. Imagine my disappointment.
  14. Of course it did. Gayest thread ever.

  16. Awesome for the kid. Only action he'll ever get.
  17. bah...Fairly familiar concept but vid cam perspective should make it interesting.
  18. Saw this trailer a couple months ago at the theatre. Maybe a horror version of cloverfield? http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/quara...atrical-trailer
  19. Fuggin 92 here at 9.30pm. Should have started the AC this morning. Still hasn't cooled it down
  20. Right now it's not too pleasant but overall I guess there are worse ways to make a buck. Like a lot of businesses here we are in competition with cheap labor both off shore and in L.A. We are fortunate enough to have a kind of niche market that,so far has kept us busy enough.
  21. It may have been in poor taste but funny non the less.
  22. Not sure about SD but here we are on the inland side of a mountain range as well(Oakland on the other side) and it is significantly cooler there as well. Not as cool as SF but still a good 10-15 degrees cooler as soon as you get on the other side of the tunnel.
  23. lol...almost. Screen printing shop. Guess I should have gone too College.
  24. You still have smoke down there? It was really bad here for a couple weeks but its cleared out pretty nice. I can't imagine this heat combined with forest fire smoke. And going to work today at 6am it was already 77 degrees. Gonna be real hard this week
  25. Ugh! Been lucky so far this summer with relatively cool temps. Not now. 107 yesterday and supposed to be like this all week. Our shop has three gas fired dryers that run close to 400 degrees. Doesn't help. Hope I make it through the next few days still healthy!!!
