Promising. I like our new coach from the Red Wings. Maclellan has won everywhere he has been. Ran the Wings PP which was scary good. If he only brings that with him the Sharks are in good shape. Young native Indian(Canadian version) Setaguichi(1goal, 1 assist) looked great as did fellow Canadian Indian Cheechoo(2goals). Need to recruit Northern Ontario for one more to make a line!!! Maybe the Sharks can trade for Tootoo on Nashville

Nice match up to open the season. Hopefully the Sabres can win their first game. Always nice to set the tone for the season with a premier night win. Interesting that the Habs are touting their upcoming 100 year anniversary as a huge deal but not a real significant Quebecois on the forward line. Only Patrick Breezeby and Matthew Dandenault on D as starting frenchies. Go out after work on Fridays for beers and a nice burger so will have to dvr it and watch when I get home. Go Sabres!

Before the game on Sunday I thought we would go 10-6 with the Arizona game being a loss. I still think that. I don't think the Bills are nearly as bad as they appeared. It would be unreasonable to believe a team at this stage of development to do much better. Of course there are going to be a couple hiccups along the way. Week 5 was one of them. Gonna be a couple more in which the Bills look like the old Bills. 10-6 is a major improvement and will also mean a playoff appearance. Considering the Bills the last 10 years I would be more than happy with that. So im disappointed but not overly worried.

Ive always been kinda neutral on the Losman/Trent thing. I was really hoping that JP was going to take advantage of the opportunity to shine for next seasons contract with whomever. And this game was really not his fault at all. One thing that bothered me though when he was on the bench. He had the look of a guy who just doesn't give a $h1t. Can't really explain it. He just didn't look intense at all.

Quarantine looks very interesting to me among others. It's a remake of a 2007 Spanish film called "Rec" that is supposed to be very scary. I have that one saved on Netflix but it's not released on dvd yet. I'm looking forward to Max Payne as well. Steam has a good deal on the games, Max Payne, and Max Payne II: The Fall of Max Payne for just $7.49! I know their old now but still a good deal for two and some good retro gaming.

The Bills have been winning but not dominant. Except for the Seattle game. A little concerned about our pass rush. In the first game we seemed to have the Stroud effect going on freeing up Schobel and so on. Last 3 games, not so much. Trent is doing fantastic but again, not overwhelming. Bills offense, at least right now, is decent but not great. So still for me, every game is a concern. One of the very positive things I like about this years version of the Bills is they seem un-phased by road games and home crowds.

I'm happy he's ok as well. I know it would be great if he was out next week though. Boldin is one of my favorite players outside of Buffalo. A true team player.

Games in Toronto would be a drag. No tailgating. Crappy stadium. For football at least
