NO TRADING good linemen. Please! Lack of quality lines have been the main Bills weakness for years.

I get the feeling that the players did save Jauron's

And on top of all this, we had one of the easiest skeds going. An average team would have gone 10-6 without doing anything special. -
How dare you!!!!!

$1.6 Billion of bank bailout money went to...
Dante replied to Tux of Borg's topic in Off the Wall Archives
wtf?? Fvck bailing out all these aholes. Bills should get in line if they want to keep bailing out ahole operations. Why not? At least you could argue that the entire psyche of a region would be boosted by such a move. Hey, as long as they are tossing money around like we actually have it. 50 million or so for the Bills would be a drop in the bucket. While there at it they can send some cash the Lions was as well. -

Your not arguing that the Browns are actually a good team are you? They have lost 5 in a row since their last win. Against us. -

Even meaningless wins against both the Broncos and the Pats would not make me forget the horrible strategic decisions that cost us a playoffs chance. Mainly the late game stupidity vs the Browns and the Jets. Imagine, losing a Monday night home game against a team that lost themselves at home vs the Bengals -
Now that's funny!

Want to fire Jauron and replace him with a coordinator?
Dante replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills management has to be one of two things to get a quality coach. The first, and most obvious, is that they have to be willing to go out and pay for a proven guy. We all know that's not going to happen. I'm not sure it ever has. I could be wrong on Chuck Knox though. He could have cost some cash. Can't remember. The second is that they have to be insightful, connected, perceptive and aware enough to spot a up and comer that is the right fit for the club. I don't think Ralph is capable of hiring a GM that can do that for him. I don't think Ralph can spot a prospect either. -
Franken about to take lead...

Sorry, I figured he was a stand up comic, like most of those guys. Probably should have said " I can't believe anyone pays (or paid) this guy to make others laugh." Better? -
Franken about to take lead...

You mean the era that had Chevy Chase fall down all the time while doing the news? The crap that is laughably bad now because it is so dated? I guess I should bow down and blow the dude that was responsible for that genius. -

Well, I guess I saw enough of him not to really care. SNL has been inconsistently funny at best. In fact, it's been unfunny enough over the years for me not to pay attention any more. He probably was writing for one of the many down periods. -

Gee, Franken was just so funny wasn't he? No wonder he got out of that racket and into another. Who the fug would pay to see that guy? Little fvk'n weasel. -
But wouldn't have Wall Street screwed everything up for the Japanese automakers as well?

Oil companies next in line for a bailout

Why not? My father likes to say. "Feed the cat another canary" dunno. Some old east coast Canadian saying probably. -
He makes sense. I believe him. Actually glad I read the article. Corker may be a good candidate after the Obama/Democrat deal goes for a crap the next 4 years.

Good insight on the UAW I guess stalling?? http://townhall.com/columnists/LawrenceKud...iness?page=full Gdamn I hope they don't end up bailing these aholes out. Methinks the Democrats will though.

Have to get some form of DVR!

Yes. Government welfare in the form of jobs is a great long term cure for a ailing economy.

This would imply that there is some kind of stress going on. For stress there has to be some form of expectation of success. I don't think I even feel that anymore. I don't get upset at losses at all because there is no real belief that this team will ever be good.

I could have typed this myself. Ive posted feelings mirroring yours a few times. I think the process of emotional disconnect began 3 or 4 seasons ago. It's a gradual thing I believe. I began to question why I was more depressed over losses than the players and management. You begin to question why support a team that seems hopeless. Usually I would say this is a negative attitude but considering the length of time this culture of losing has gone on, I don't think so. We had a nice oasis of fortune in the early 90s when Polian was here. But obviously he was too strong a personality for Ralph so his days were probably numbered from the start. Funny, where he goes success follows. Colts good. Bills bad ever since. I don't believe anything changes for the Bills until RW dies. Unfortunately, that may signify the end of the Bills in Buffalo. Fuggin cruel. As for the Sunday Ticket thing, I'm right with you on that. Ive already told my wife I'm not renewing next season. She laughs it off but I'm serious. I'm just starting to feel like a douchebag being sucked into paying $400(Super Fan package so you can get HD) a year just to be depressed watching the Bills. Hell, the last two months I think 4 games I gave up watching at or before half time because I could see it was hopeless. Once you start thinking like that, it's time to cancel. IF (LOL) the Bills seriously try to field a good team, I can always go to a bar and watch. A few decent ones around here to go too. One thing for sure though, I am going to continue to get NHL Center Ice. Good deal. Worth every dollar. I have more hope for the Sabres than I do for the Bills. I watch as many games as I can.

I really like Thigpen as a qb now that you mention him. Like you Ben Franklin sig btw. Good stuff!

Another sh------- game by the Bills. Say what you want though we are set at RB and Punter. Our OLine didn't look too bad either. Pass protection was more than adequate and running wasn't a problem at all. We are not competent at the qb position. JP couldn't execute when he had to. Forget what the play call was. Losman had to make a decision well before he got sacked. OR he had to throw it away. But I'm not convinced Edwards would have done any different. Were just fvkn weak at qb and our d is like my pasta strainer.

For a squad to unanimously agree to do something like this, I'm guessing team chemistry is not a problem with the Blackhawks. They are a fun team to watch.
