The dangers of our new normal...
Dante replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
People seem to be willing to give up their personal freedom and basic rights for security. Over the last 20 years they have scared people enough between terrorism, environmentalism. Thanks to 9/11 we now have Homeland Security with the TSA. Checkpoints at teh airport where they presume you guilty and pat you down. NSA and god knows whom else with enhanced access to our info without a warrant. Enviro kooks predicting doom and gloom with the ultimate goal of all of us living like ants. Living in stack and pack housing. Driving crappy little death trap cars if were lucky. They really want all of us to cram into public transit. In the end the result is the same. Less freedom and more control and btw, your going to pay way more per square foot to live in that ****ty little condo and if you drive were going to tax the hell out of you to fund all of this control. Damn I just read today that the epa is granting some universities to look into the environmental effects of back yard bbq's! Also going to be studies on hotels and the possibility of monitoring and limiting the usage of water by a guest. There is going to be no end to it. -
I guess it all depends how you define positive. From my perspective he and all he does is a negative but in his mind, it's pretty positive vibes. Take over the medical industry? Check Open the border to change the demographic so they can vote for the leftists and get on welfare to further stress the debt? Check Get the ball rolling on gun control. Check Destabilize the mideast to allow ISIS and the radicals to run rampant to eventually get us into another ground war? Check Government takeover of the internet? Check Instigate and divide whenever the opportunity arises like at Ferguson for the purpose of causing civil unrest? Check I'm sure I'm missing something but for Barry it's 6 years of productivity.

That's not good since we don't really have one.

I can't say I'm happy with the Roman hiring. I think for him to succeed he's going to need to beef up the line.

The President comes to AZ CGF goes back to TX
Dante replied to CowgirlsFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
lol B-Man. Also the first time I've seen CGF venture into the PPP. I fear she is to nice to dip her toe in here! -
I would think the Sharks would want to sign him but at the same time I sense they are going to be retooling to some degree. Especially if they don't make the playoffs. If that happens who knows what happens. One guy who might become available is Thornton. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/joe-thornton-says-sharks-gm-needs-to--shut-his-mouth-200953697.html

Can't say I blame you. In Cali we are numb to it as he seems to be out here every month begging for money. -
How is the HD quality on your streaming? Is it consistent or as good as DTV ? I use Netflix from time to time and it's pretty good as long as the internet connection is solid. The only thing from me cutting the cord is losing nice HD.

You know guys I have to apologize for this one. As much as I can't stand her or her hubby I would never go racial. Honestly as obvious as it seems I didn't perceive it that way until later. I deserve the slings and arrows and feel a little embarrassed and I have to own it. -
Raiders money troubles are pretty serious
Dante replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't remember, did the A's sign a lease? How long will they be there? I don't care for it either. The only one worse was old Candlestick, Monster Park or whatever it was last named. Terrible. Even the staff at the Coliseum seems to have a "don't give a shite" attitude. -
You guys jumped me pretty good for daring to cross the line commenting on wives and kids. I get it and for me that would apply to everyone except marxist demagogue's bent on destroying the country. Anyway, I got a chuckle out of this because of what he said but not for the fact he got fired for telling the truth. http://news.yahoo.com/univision-fires-rodner-figueroa-michelle-obama-182010184.html

I know make fun, but it's not like it hasn't happened before. This is worth a read and if you read it all there are a scary amount of comparisons to today here in the US http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/riseofhitler/burns.htm "Secrets of the Reichstag Fire In 1933, just a week before general elections that might place enough Nazis in office to make Hitler defacto dictator, the Reichstag, which housed the parliament of the German Empire, was set on fire. Adolf Hitler assured everyone that communist terrorists started the fire. Hitler's party member Hermann Göring stated that he had secret evidence that would soon be made public; evidence that proved communists did it. These proclamations came on top of weeks of Nazi-organized street violence designed to whip the public into a pathological fear of communists._The next day, the Nazis convinced a senile President von Hindenburg to sign the Reichstag Decree. The decree, using defence against terrorism as an excuse, suspended just about every major civil liberty set forth in the Weimar Constitution: habeus corpus (the right to know why you're being put in jail)? Gone. Freedom of opinion? Gone. Freedom of the press? Not any more. Freedom to organise and assemble? Deported. The Reichstag decree even allowed the government to spy on its own citizens' personal mail and telephone conversations without a warrant... something most Americans today could hardly begin to fathom... a precursor to President George W. Bush secret order in 2002 ordering the National Security Agency to do just exactly the same thing._So what about the fire? The only thing historians seem to agree on is that Marinus van der Lubbe, a former Dutch Communist and mentally disturbed arsonist hungry for fame, was found inside the building. Despite the Nazi attempt to blame the fire on a group of communists, the communists were later acquitted by the Nazi government itself. After years of extensive investigation, most historians believe the Hitlerites themselves set fire to the Reichstag using van der Lubbe as their patsy: they knew a nut was going to try to burn down the building and not only did they let him do it, but they may have befriended him, encouraged him and even helped the blaze spread by scattering gasoline and incendiaries._Most Germans, feeling safe from terrorism again, didn't mind that their freedom and liberty had been stolen, or that so much of their life and work had become so strictly controlled. On the contrary, they felt very enthusiastic and patriotic about the new government because they ignorantly believed the new government cared about them. And as long as the average citizen worked hard, kept his mouth shut and let his kids take part in the Hitler Youth organization, he stayed out of the detention camps."

He had multiple agencies trying to pin this on the cop. The effort was way out of proportion for what was appropriate. I wish he would apply the same diligence to Hillary and her illegal private email server. Or better yet, will Holder investigate the cop shootings as a hate crime?

All criminals. Did anyone hear the divider in chief ramble on at the Selma gathering? Sickening and it fits right in stirring the pot. He is a f'n creep.
-
Thanks. Didn't even notice that before. lol..thats right. They will mind control me to go to the airport with a one way ticket to Toronto. Maybe he has one already. That would explain a lot.
-
Could be. Maybe he gets us in a war with Russia and declares that he has to remain prez. Maybe some terrorist attack "conveniently" happens so close to the election he has to remain in office under emergency powers or some crap. They're all criminals. Capable of anything which has become painfully evident the last 6 years or more.

Yes just look how your communist strategy worked for Venezuela. Anyway, here is the latest government manipulation and distortion of science to promote the government control narrative. http://dailycaller.com/2015/03/09/more-evidence-of-climate-data-tampering-by-noaa/ -
Now that chick is a real American! Seriously. And how much did the price spike?
