  1. Exactly. Love these "it's one game" and "preseason" idiots. If you don't see the issue, you are the biggest homer ever.
  2. There's some misinformation being spread here. DirecTV NOW is a separate service than their Sunday Ticket streaming package. Both are from DirecTV, but are separate apps. You don't need NOW to get Sunday Ticket. Conversely, you cannot get Sunday Ticket within NOW, you need to buy the steaming option and run it in the Sunday Ticket app on your device. Hope that helps.
  3. Yes, assuming you're eligible, then you just need to download the Sunday Ticket app to the stick and sign in. I've had it for the last several years, and its evolved into a pretty flawless high quality stream. They usually have a few hiccups week 1, but it's reliable.
  4. Oh no! I thought they had loosened up the eligibility.
  5. No, it's a completely separate offering outside of the DirecTV Now service. You can have both DirecTV Now, and Sunday Ticket streaming, just using different apps. Used to be they wouldn't allow you to get the streaming Sunday Ticket unless you couldn't get the satellite dish service, but seems like they've loosened up that restriction quite a bit.
  6. Why not? I did it last year, and renewed again for this year. Had the dish for many many years before going this route. Early adopters of DirecTV Now got a locked in (supposedly) discounted rate. Go to their Sunday Ticket streaming site and sign up for that. Works flawlessly on Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV. Got me out of the monthly DirecTV bills well over $100 per month just so I could get Sunday Ticket. Probably saves me about $1,000 a year. And I don't have to go scrounging around for the game on the interwebs, though I will research that further next season, as some have indicated there seem to be reliable sites, but I don't want to risk it.
  7. I wouldn't count on it. It wouldn't be the first time (or second, third, etc.) that a CSR has provided inaccurate information, or plain just doesn't know what they're talking about? I'm willing to bet you're not getting the deal you think you're getting. Please check back with us week 1 and let us know ?
  8. Yeah, that's what I thought I recalled as well, just can't remember for sure. I remember that game, thinking Mularkey was sticking it to Moulds. Of course they could have designed a simple catch for him if they wanted to, and I don't buy for a second any Mularkey claims he was unaware, believable as they may be.
  9. I think it's great. What's the student status prove-it requirements? I have an .edu alumni email account.
  10. Yep, those were the ones I was pretty much referring to. Especially liked Tre's remarks. Disclaimer: running around in shorts:)
  11. Dig deeper, they’re out there. No, I won’t get links for you. If that makes it nonexistent, so be it. But he’s been impressive, some people just don’t want to hear it, or have selective hearing. Not a comment on you, just sayin’. Of course running around in shorts doesn’t mean squat at this point.
