I hope "culture change" and "accountable" do not mean BS things like air horns. -

Indeed. She also is very smart and has an incredible life story. She and Terry are true partners. They make a great power couple. -

What did he say about the expression that Whaley has on his face? Maybe I am reading too much into it, but it seems odd. As an aside, I cannot blame him for wanting to stand next to Kim given the choices. -
Things you want to hear McDermott say in his press conf.

Doug Whaley had me at hello. Doug Whaley and I finish each other's sentences. The Buffalo Bills were always my favorite team growing up (or I used to play them on whatever video game was around at the time). Obviously. Jerry and Bucky, I was warned about you guys. Shut the f**k up or I will show you how we treat whiners like you in Philadelphia. -

That is funny. I thought that you were initially joking. I suppose I should have turned on WGR. -

He got the news on the bat phone (oops, I mean Doug Whaley's cell) and tweeted the news of the hire right away. -

I think the deer is on the right side of the photo (the one that Kim Pegula tweeted) staring into the headlights as he looks forward to the next press conference . . . . -
Bills Hire Sean McDermott as New Head Coach

If this does not work out, will Whaley and his people point to the positioning of the Pegulas and Whaley relative to McDermott to attempt to argue that McDermott was not really his hire but the Pegulas forced Sean on Whaley. Someone should ask Doug if he and Sean finish each other's sentences. Just having some fun. Go Bills! Kim Pegula @KimPegula 11m11 minutes ago Done dealpic.twitter.com/69gaGkeMXV -

I think the only teams left are the Bills and the Maple Leafs. -

If the Bills hired Norv as the OC, that would mean that we (at different times) had Jimmy Johnson's Dallas coordinators. I just hope that Norv turns out better than Wanny. Norv did begin to turn Alex Smith's career around if I recall correctly. -

This question would have to be answered satisfactorily. We do not need the OC version of Marrone. Now, even I could get excited about Tom Landry. That would be a helluva get . . . especially under the circumstances. -
I had answered this a few days back. Of the guys that we are interviewing, I am not particularly excited about any of them. I thought A. Lynn was the best of the bunch (I like his life story and continuity could have some advantages). McDermott seems like he possibly could be ok. I am not excited about him and not sure why he (reportedly) has been identified as the guy who should lead our team going forward. Having said that, I will wait and see what happens (including the staff that he puts together). The "A List" guys that want HC jobs are generally accepted to be the two Pats coordinators and Shanahan. It does not appear that they have an interest in the Bills or the Bills have reached out to them. I can surmise why this is but who knows for sure. I would be excited about: Wade - he probably would have been my first choice for reasons I have mentioned. I know he loves Buffalo (from mutual friends). I also think that he would have accepted the job in about a nanosecond if it had been offered. Coughlin - he would have been a step above the other guys being interviewed (based on experience and pedigree) and probably would have allowed us to groom an heir apparent. Guys that would have required a lot of work, $$$, and convincing: Gruden - I like him although he seems to have his detractors here. I think he could be convinced with lots of $$$, power, etc. It would take a home run. Harbaugh - I think he would like to stay at Michigan, and I would if I were him. Cowher - He is a wild card. I thought that there could possibly be a connection with the Pegulas given the Western Pennsylvania stuff. I also thought that he was possibly angling for the job based on some of his statements on TV. If I were him, I would think that it is a lot less stressful to make lots of money sitting in a studio without anyone second guessing your decisions and being able to spend the rest of your week with your family. A funny line is a funny line. This one is one of the better ones.
