A little off topic, but does anyone know what Biscuit is doing now?

We should trade Roscoe to the falcons,
Peter replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rather than repeat everything that I have posted on the subject, I will incorporate by reference all of my previous posts responding to people who repeatedly love to trash Roscoe. In a nutshell, we should keep Roscoe. Field position (especially for our offense) is extremely important. Also, I would love to see how defenses plan on defending TO, Lee, Roscoe, and/or Josh when they are out there together. -
Marshawn to serve all 3 games of suspension

Whatever . . . ML has no one to blame but himself. My view of Goodell primarily will be based on what he does to make sure that the Bills stay in Buffalo. -

Don't the late show staff's typically do some sort of pre-interview. That is my understanding. I think that you are correct. Also, it makes perfect sense to ask Paul about being back in the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
-
I thought that the Letterman interview was pretty good all in all. You are absolutely right about Larry King's interview of Paul, Ringo, Yoko, and George's wife. It may have been the worst he ever has been (and he has been pretty bad - although he gets pretty good guests). In addition to calling Ringo George, he kept on interrupting Paul and George when they were telling some great stories. As an aside, I will never forget when Larry King asked Pamela Anderson whether she had ever had plastic surgery (and he was serious when he asked).

If he has a good year this year, why not.

Maybe it is just me, but I think that there is more to this. The whole thing is bizarre. I have a hard time believing that a 20 year old girl who a few days earlier advertised her furniture on Craigslist wanted to kill SM and then turn the gun on herself. The whole thing with her ex BF and his friend also is bizarre. Maybe what the police said today is correct, but I would not be at all surprised if we end up learning that there was much more to all of this.

Thanks. I hope things have changed. We are going there in 10 days.

I was wondering whether any of you guys own or have rented there. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Don't ever display any jealousy or insecurity about your relationship around her. It is not an attractive quality to women (whether you are feeling it on the inside or not). Also, if you act like you do not belong or deserve to be with her, she will think the same thing regardless of what she may feel now. If you like her (for reasons that are in addition to her being hot) and she likes you, go with the flow and see how it turns out. Take it day by day and don't be too wrapped up in emotional turmoil about what may happen in the future. If it works out, great. If it doesn't, you will have had a good time and will move on to someone else. In the meantime, enjoy yourself.

Great post.

Those of you who remember Flutie's post game interviews will remember that he used the word "I" when WE won and used the word "we" when we lost. It just goes to show you that when we won, it must have been only because of Flutie, and when we lost, it had to be someone else's fault.

Anyone Agree with Tim Graham on This?

This what I was referring to: Analysis of Jason Peters -
AJ never had an ax to grind?!?
-
Shhh. The Flutopians don't want to be reminded of this. They want to pretend that he did not blow that game. If RJ had fumbled the ball at the goal line to lose that game, they would still be going crazy about it.
-
Bucky was right on in that article. If you ever have a chance to have a private conversation with some of the Bills on that team (especially those that had been stars on the team for some time), ask them what they thought of Flutie.
-
So far, I think that he is doing a good job. The real test for me will be whether the Bills stay in Buffalo.

You are correct about the road.

Attn: soccer fans (just wait 'til next year!)
Peter replied to Cugalabanza's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yes. I know exactly what you mean. The first half was inspiring. The second half was what happens to teams I support (or so it seems). There is no question that Brazil is much better, but it would have been nice to win that game. -

I am too lazy right now to look it up, but if you have been reading this board you will know that someone else already did an analysis of this. The sacks charged against him last year were inflated. The Bills themselves (according to media reports) also concluded the same thing. The easiest way to determine the worth of JP is compare what happened in the Giant game at the end of 2007 before and after he got hurt. -

JP was our best offensive lineman. Philly got a good deal. A lot of you guys are blinded by your dislike for JP. I just hope that the whole of our 2009 line is greater than the sum of its parts. We have a lot of work to do. What we are able to do on offense will depend on our line. -
Things you hate in a football broadcast.
Peter replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All of the commercials. Commercials after the kickoff. Showing crowd shots instead of the player reactions after a score. I don't mind crowd shots, but there is a time and place for everything. Turning down or not broadcasting the crowd noise at a sufficient level -- especially Bills home games. I really think that it would add to the experience of watching a game on TV if they would broadcast the crowd noise the way you would hear it a a game. The constant re-playing of the CBS theme music. Arbitrary thing I liked about a telecast: I think it was ESPN that played Led Zep when they went in out of a commercial break during a couple of games last year. That reminds me of an arbitrary suggestion that I had about a year or so ago - the the Bills should play the Immigrant Song each time just before kickoff or player introductions. (I suggested this about a year ago or so. I did not have a chance to go to a game last year so I do not know if they do this now or not). The lyrics are great and the song would pump up the crowd. A-ah-ahh-ah, ah-ah-ahh-ah We come from the land of the ice and snow from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands To fight the horde and sing and cry, Valhalla, I am coming On we sweep with, with threshing oar Our only goal will be the western shore Ah-ah-ahh-ah, ah-ah-ahh-ah We come from the land of the ice and snow from the midnight sun where the hot springs FLOW How soft your fields, so green can whisper tales of gore, of how we calmed the tides of war We are your overlords On we sweep with, with threshing oar Our only goal will be the western shore S-so now you better stop and rebuild all your ruins for peace and trust can winthe day despite of all you're losin' Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh Ahh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh -
JK looks great, but she proved that she may be good for only one thing -- and after that you would want to get the hell out of there.

US to apologise for African slavery

FWIW, I believe that there is something in the Senate version that states that this cannot be used as a basis for reparations.
