  1. I stand by my original post. I seem to have struck a nerve with you.
  2. There is that. By the way, I love your avatar.
  3. I will say this for you - you have never been understated. Nevertheless, I disagree.
  4. I will take that action. I always have respected your opinion, but disagree on Edwards.
  5. The guy seems to be a knucklehead. He shows up late for games. He misses meetings. His college won't even let him have his pro day at the university. He has his pro day at his high school and forgets his own cleats. Many had him as the most talented WR in the draft. It will be interesting to see if he slips out of the first round.
  6. What is the deal with Dez Bryant
  7. Very good post. If they did that to me, I would be pretty bitter.
  8. You are funny. The pocket collapsed in two seconds and the guy got crushed. The clip (which I have seen before) is interesting for at least a couple of reasons. He did not get hurt because (as you guys insinuate) he is fragile or afraid. Second, if he threw the ball away, you guys would call him check down charlie. Either way, the haters will hate.
  9. The Bills have not had anything approaching the "Great Wall of China" since Jim Kelly was the QB.
  10. Oh brother. Injury prone? Did you see the crushing he took when he got hurt? Part of me wold love to see how some of the haters would react if they got the sh*t kicked out of them the way TE did (especially by those Jet defenders when he got hurt). As for the rest, I believe the guy can play provided he gets some protection. To state this conversely, if we do not improve the line, it does not make too much difference who is back there.
  11. Good post.
  12. I guess this is where the haters are meeting. I actually watched the pc. I thought it was pretty good and thought it was funny when he mentioned Jerry Sullivan.
  13. One Link
  14. Do you follow the Bills? One example: Do you remember what he had his agent do?
  15. Barring injury, I disagree.
  16. If you put a gun to my head and told me I had to choose between these two options, I would first think about telling you to pull the trigger. But after thinking about the fact that I want to spend many more years with my kids, I would choose Tebow in the second rather than Clausen with the 9th pick in the draft. If the Bills brain trust (Nix and Gailey) thought that they could make an NFL QB out of Tebow (as would be demonstrated by their picking him in the second round), I would trust their judgment on that. Tebow (and this is coming from a Miami Hurricane fan) has a lot more character in my opinion than Clausen ever will have. You know that Tebow is going to do everything he can to help the team - whether that be improving as a QB, playing tight end, coming in as the wild cat QB, or whatever else they ask him to do. Clausen, on the other hand, is not the kind of guy that I would want as my QB and have to pay the kind of money that we are going to have to pay the 9th pick in the draft. I know the ND guys have a man love for this guy (just as they did with Brady Quinn). Given the number of needs that we have, we can pick the best player available at number 9 rather than reach for Clausen at that spot. Later in the draft, I might consider him, but certainly not at number 9.
  17. You and I disagree on Edwards, but we do agree on Bradford. I don't know that we could afford to trade what it would take to get Bradford (given all of our needs), but Bradford is the only QB that I would take in round 1. I would stay very far away from Jimmy C.
  18. That was my impression as well. The guy who threw him under the bus is no longer on the team and, instead, is now working on his VH1 show and is currently unemployed as a football player.
  19. I would stay away from this guy . . . far away.
  20. At what cost and for how long?
  21. My wife and I went there before our eldest was born. We stayed at one of those all inclusive places. We had fun. The beach and ocean are beautiful. We also enjoyed the diving. The one thing that stuck out is that nearly everyone we met made it a point to say: "We are not the Bahamas." Having been to the Bahamas a number of times, I interpreted that to mean that they are friendlier in T&C. The Bahamas is nice, but you do run into some rude people who seem to take the tourists for granted.
  22. Thanks. I may check it out.
  23. Bingo.
  24. Ok, so this is where the Debbie Downers go to get their fix - this and the thread about Buddy Nix preferring to sleep rather than sign free agents.
