  1. Start by re-signing Coy wire....done thank God Re-sign Nate Clements 6 year deal, 58 million and a 15 million dollar signing bonus...sounds about right? re-sign Mike Gandy 2 year deal worth 4.1 million 1.4 million dollar signing bonus re-sign Thomas keep Hargrove Let Fletcher and Kelsey walk, we are strong at both positions depth wise, Crowell can shift over and Denney outplayed Kelsey and I think Hargrove will be able to start at LE. Sign Eric Steinbach-LG, I think we can create a more athletic OL, and he is a great start. Drew Bennett-WR, here's why this years WR class might be one of the strongest of all time, 6, maybe more, will go first round. Bennett is the perfect compliment to Evans. He's tall and crafty, he creates a solid 2nd option at WR. and he's still young. Cosey Coleman G-kind of fell off the map in Cleveland, I'd bring him in to compete, he wouldn't cost much, so it might be worth a look. Al Singleton OLB-another inexpensive player, has been in Tampa 2 before...in tampa, Could add depth or play strong side in the event Spikes moves inside. Drafting 1-Raiders-Russell-need a QB for future 2-Lions-Joe Thomas-will play RT 3-Browns-Calvin johnson-can't pass him up, they feel good about frye, Johnson and Edwards could be explosive 4-Bucs-Brady Quinn-QB is their weakest position 5-Cards-Alan Branch-need to address interior line 6-Redskins-Jamal Anderson-DE-the redskins get one of the very best in the draft 7-Vikes-Ted Ginn-Vikes need a WR. 8-Texans-Peterson-Texans won't pass on a RB this year 9-Dolphins-Okeyo-Holliday and Traylor are likely gone 10-Falcons-Reggie Nelson-clearly the best DB in the draft, they need youth and play makers there 11-49ers-Leon hall-49ers need to improve D backfield 12-BILLS-No Okeyo, which is who we target, 2nd choice Patrick Willis replaces Fletcher 22-after we trade our 2nd, 3rd and a 5th next year we move up to draft Tank Tyler-reasoning? we needed to address the interior DL in the draft after Tyler there is a huge drop off. a move we will regret one day round 4-Cory Anderson-might be the best iso blocker at FB round 6-Manuel Ramirez-guard-- big & strong, but limited athletically round 7-Scott Chandler-TE with great height-was productive at Iowa. Opening day line up Bennett-Peters-steinbach-Fowler-Gandy-Pennington-Royal-Evans Losman Anderson Mcgahee End of the year prediction Bennett-Peters-Steinbach-Fowler-Coleman-Gandy-Royal-Parrish-Evans Losman McGahee after Pennington struggles Gandy makes another move, and we set up in a 3 wide set Defense (opening) Schobel-Tripplett-Williams-Denney Crowell- Willis- Spikes McGee Clements Simpson Whitner ending Schobel-McCargo-Tyler-Hargrove Crowell willis Spikes Youboty Clements Simpson Whitner McGee gets injured week 2 or 3 and youboty comes in and plays lights out, when mcGee returns he is the nickle, Denney returns to the bench as part of the rotation, tripplett is outplayed by McCargo, and Tyler starts, using Kyle Williams as a spark plug off the bench. understand the following was for entertainment only the end
  2. you were at the playboy party and you are telling us about Spikes? It's cool you saw him, but I think you may want to adjust your priorities.
  3. say what you want about prince, Purple rain was a great record, and my first...I'm thirty now, do the math and yeah, my parents didn't know any better. Prince is a Gen x pop icon, and he didn't touch kids.
  4. just to add to that list, the sporting news in all of their stupidity have the Bills taking Zack Miller, TE arizona st. with quinn going to the Chiefs at 23, and Willis going 2nd round. year after year i question TSN
  5. QB-actually pretty strong, two easy 1st rounders, and a bunch of players that will make teams and a few starters in the future, better than last year. RB-strong up front, very weak in the back FB-Really strong WR-IMHO best since Moulds, Harrison, Johnson, Owens. TE-really weak, maybe one day 1 pick Tackle-good depth, but only 1 that will go top 15. guard-actually very strong, maybe 3 in the 1st round Center-weak, though Kyle Young is very good DE-not the athletes we've seen, but overall very strong, and very deep DT- weak....Branch is head and shoulders above everyone, Okoye and Tyler are good, but not nearly in the same class. and Pitcock is a smaller version of tim anderson. Compared to last year weak OLB-not like last years class but very good ILB-also very good, Willis will be rookie defensive player of the year, rookie LBs always win it and he is the best next year. and if he ends up in Buffalo he'll have a ton of chances to stop the run. Like fletcher but faster, and bigger. CB-strong up front, and good depth, if I were washington I would draft a CB and forget Clements...if I were washington. Safeties-average, glad we got our two starters last year, Ko Simpson would have been the number 1 or 2 safety in this draft. overall good, better depth than years past except at RB and DT
  6. some of those stats are a little misleading, Pitcock got a lot of playing time over 4 years, and his sack numbers are less than average, Branch, not nearly as much and his numbers are average. Okoye got little playing time, as he was part of a rotation, early in his career. and Tyler had 3 first round picks as teamates. I like tyler, but he has Off the field issues, I am hopeful he falls into the 2nd round. another DT I like, that would fit into the 3 is Marcus Thomas out of Florida, he was kicked off the team for weed. but he's a good person, just like ron mexico.
  7. First, I think we've turned the corner a little in Buffalo, had we lost the last half of the season, I'd say he has a point, we suck. but every sign is showing the pride returning, Royal makes that catch, we don't lose to detroit earlier in the season, and we have ourselves a playoff team. And where might he be going? washington? and they are so much better, they have more questions about their QB then we do. and worse they have gregg williams. and I am hoping that IF New england wins the super bowl this year, Samuels is MVP, it will make him the hot CB, and he went to UCF. (orlando)
  8. 1-Patrick Willis, he makes the most sense, starter out of the gate, there isn't a DT that I would pick at 12. Okoye has what they say is upside, and if Willis goes early, yeah I would take him. But Willis is better. 2-Tony Ugoh-Tackle from Ark, it's not that I think Pennington isn't going to start, but if he has 2nd year growing pains I don't want to have to start Brad Butler. Tony Ugoh could also play guard. 3-Craig Davis-LSU WR with good size, was the 2nd WR there and would be here as well, but actually has the speed to open the field and size to not be knocked out of his route. 4-Manuel Ramirez-has Larry allen type size. good back up, could start. 6-Tyrone Moss-short and squatty RB. more Gore than McGahee, was injured a lot in college after signing, Daniel graham, Eric Steinbach, and Robaire Smith and re-signing Nate Clements and Mike gandy we have plenty of cap room to do this. this is would be my simple plan
  9. he's charlie Rogers with passion, Holtz said he had the best hands in college football, I've seen him play only 3 times, but if he falls into the 2nd, we should grab him, but I think he's a mid 1st rounder.
  10. he's still young, there is still a chance there will be more, he should buy a bigger house.
  11. yeah, those pages that are not stuck together...unless you REALLY like the article.
  12. I was going to say the same thing (spikes ILB), a playmaker is a playmaker, if we don't get Willis round 1, I think we could do it
  13. I agree and to think it cost Buffalo all of a 5th rounder, I think we'll be fine at DE next year, still need a big body next to him.
  14. agree, another option is to have spikes or Crowell move inside and getting a OLB later in round 2.
  15. Practice squad cheerleader, 6'4 235, I am thinking OLB, maybe strongside, an injury did me in, but I still look the part. and I still have sprinter speed
  16. Yeah I am really hopeful that some teams will release good vets, I a really hoping that team is the Vikings and that player is Pat Williams, I think he would return in a heart beat. However with the cap situation as it is I believe that the Vikes are well under the crap, plus he is their best player.
  17. I would be fine with that team, it would be a good product, my only concern is that we still don't trully have a weapon at TE, I really believe that a TE is the key to reaching the post season. Also, while I would love to see it, I don't think that Robert meachem will be availible in the third round. I think we could get a Dallas Baker there, he has very good ball skills, long arms, and is an ideal possesion WR. I think you could flip flop 2 and 3, Beekman will be there in the 3rd, if he's not Grubbs will be, both are better than our current starter, I think that Grubs has not hit his stride yet, I think he could turn inot a dominating RG. While I am at it, wasn't chris cooper involved in the Balco case? and Womack would start at RT or RG and not be a back up.
  18. when you look at what we need, trading down would serve us very well, more so than in years past, (of course, if it's an option) there is great value at WR, LB, DT and interior linemen, however most will still be around at 20. If fletcher leaves, I don't hink we have to draft an inside Linebacker, I think Spikes, if healthy which he will be, could slide over, leaving us with the option of drafting any LB position, also with Sidney rice declaring this might be the best WR draft since the Moulds/Harrison/Owens draft, yes even better than Evans/williams/williams/williams draft. Also there are only two DT I would take befroe the 15th pick, Branch who will be gone, and Okoye is still kind of a question mark and a gamble at 12, however Tank tyler at 20ish would be good value. and as far as interior Linemen are concern, I think at 20ish we could still get Blalock and more important get an additional first day pick and grab, grubbs, sears, or beekman or another tackle like Tony Ugoh, who could also play guard, and if Pennington doesn't continue to improve be our starting RT. my draft after trading down and picking up a third 20ish-DeMarcus "tank" tyler 2-Earl Everett -until he runs a 4.4 40 3a-Tony Ugoh T/G 3b-Aundrae Allison-WR-he has two girls names, he has to be tough. Or Paul williams, Craig Davis, Bowe, Steve Smith or Dallas Baker all would be good #2 WR assuming they can beat out Price, and Reed. 4-best player availible the rest of the way this also limits how many free agents we really need, I still think we need to get an interior lineman and re-sign Clements, Kelsay and Gandy....we should have the cap room to do this.
  19. more amazing than anything is Okoye play college football at 16, at 16!!! right now he sould be a soph, his best days have not even come. He is done growing either, in 2 years he will be a dominating force. However at the same time we might not see his best days, since we can't re-sign players anymore.
  20. Hey retard read that last line you wrote! His name is Jordan Black.....Jordaon black, I forgot he was such a star, freeney beat a 3rd maybe 4th tier LT......Deerrrerrr and like Pyrite said, where was he all season if he can do it every game....oh he didn't play Jordan Black every game. please end this debate. It's really stupid
  21. I think we'll re-sign Clements...honestly I think we will I think we re-sign Kelsey I think we re-sign Mike gandy too I think we let Fletcher walk I think we'll sign a TE like Graham, I like him, he is a good "move" TE, he can block for the backfield and I think we'll sign one FA Linemen, I am hoping it will be Steinbach, but I think they'll franchise him. I don't think we'll release/trade McGahee-the reason is simple this is not TD, who seems to hold grudges, this is Marv, and he'll calm the waters and get the best season out of McGahee. I could also see us signing another DT, I think the future is Kyle Williams....an off season of getting stronger and learning more will help. I would love to see us sign Smith, or even Scott, both are athletic big men. I am praying that Ralph opens his wallet a little more. I think you are Right on with Davis in round 1, he is a special type of ILB, and could start as a rookie. 2-I like your pick, however I've seen him as high as in the teens round 1, this is a very deep WR draft, so who knows, I also like Bowe and maybe later Steve Smith who is an ideal 2nd WR without the height. 3-I can't see Irons falling that far, I think he's a 2nd rounder, maybe even a late 1st....I like Tony Hunt here, or Kyle young here, if he was still on the board, Kyle Young is a special type, he could play Guard or RT too. If he was on the board here and we don't draft him, it might be Marv's biggest mistake, I feel he's the number 1 center, and a first rounder. I would love your draft, but I am hoping for more quality and less quantity in Free agency
  22. even a post injury Spikes is better than what we could get fr the same money in FA, Lance Briggs is a very good player, yes true, but he'll cash in much more than Spikes. not to mention there will be a cap hit if we release him, I prefer to extend his contract. and replace Fletcher, this draft is pretty solid at LB, if all we can get is a OLB than Spikes can handle the middle. He's far too valuable to release.
  23. It might be in our better interest if we loose Fletcher, we should draft a OLB, and fill the ILB with Crowell or better yet Spikes. Only a few rookies are able to play the interior their rookie years...they typically end up being the rookie of the year. draft as you would in the first round, hopefully a WR and then draft a speedy OLB like Earl Everett, I also think that PP (the LB) might fall, the acl/mcl injury might scare some teams. Fill the interior DL with a Free agent like Smith, re sign clements at almost any cost. What I am really hoping for is that Youboty shows why he was considered a 1st rounder and beats out McGee, who played absolutly bad this year.
  24. Gandy looked bad against Baltimore, and I don't mean bad meaning good, he was bad meaning bad. If we keep him I can't see him staying LG, maye RG if we're able to land Steinbach, but if we got Davis instead, I could see him staying then. I think a TE could be just as valuable, most sacks come from over load blitz packages. Add a TE you not only do you have a hot route, but if he's good the LBs have to stay aware of him, menaing less blitzing. also I am worried about Pennington, he got the label Lazy for a reason. He could have Robert Hicks written all over him. I would consider drafting a tackle day one, one who is able to play Guard or tackle, like an aaron sears. if he's there in the third round it would be nice.
