  1. Yikes. Purdue up 20-0 at the half.
  2. Taped the Buckeyes-Cinci game and watched this morning. Buckeyes need to settle the QB position. Zwick was having a tough time. Replacement QB Smith looked better. Rest of the team is better than I thought. D just swarmed to the ball and Tressel was stubborn about establishing the run. He never panics . OL played well. Still strong at WR and TE. QB is the the big issue. Need to get that figured out before the conference schedule kicks in. 3 TD win with MAC power Marshall next. Saw all the highlights this morning. Watched the LSU - Oregon St. game last night. LSU was very lucky. So was Clemson. ND and Mich St. looked bad.
  3. Idiots continue to breed on a daily basis.
  4. Completely agree. Lawton has looked much better in the practices and games I viewed.
  5. Wow. It's 84 in the shade right now. Sunny and perfect. What a great day ! Been doing some work in the yard, thinking " This SHOULD have been opening weekend " Friggin NFL and their late start .. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Some gardening after lunch and then fun with the friends... Perfect tailgate/picnic weather...Think I'll call my brother in Miami and mock him...
  6. A shame the opener wasn't today. The weather the last few days has been the best of the summer. Should be partly Sunny and 78 today. The last few days were in the 80's and Sunny. Lots of time in the pool and having another barbecue today. I've been lucky this Summer. Every time I've had folks over for a barbecue and pool party, the weather has been great. Go figure. I guess God likes Village Idiots.
  7. I like your thinking. I'm predicting a 17-13 win. We'll make our mistakes. They'll make theirs. The Bills will make a couple more big plays than the Jags. I believe the OL will slowly get better as the season moves forward. I respect every single opponent on the schedule. Taking it a week at a time.
  8. I'll send him a handbasket for his next destination...
  9. I'll let the AMA know they have a perv Doctor in their ranks...

  11. My nipple ring keeps falling off. Not cold enough. Can't wait to see the " Jugglers " again !
  12. How long is your drive to the Ralph ? Mine's 20 minutes...
  13. He's not tall enough for half the rides at Six Flags and he's 41.
  14. Greveys used to be a Buffalo Bar. Is it still that way? I lived in Maryland from 1987-92. Went across the Wilson bridge. The gathering spot for Bills games. Genny Beer, Wings & Pizza, Beef on Weck. Mgr of the place was from Buffalo. Place would be packed on gameday for the Bills.
  15. That quote proved he hasn't watched the Bills at all during this summer. So why not leave the opinions to those who have ?
  16. James wasn't drafted out of college already with this knee condition. Indy received major production from him, right out of the gate. That's my whole point.
  17. Eric Steinbach could have started immediately at Guard, instead of wasting a year on Pucillo. Hindsight is always 20/20. Still, several of us at the stadium draft party were rooting for Steinbach, prior to the Willis selection. I'm just not into paying someone big $$ to watch him rehab 1-2 years to start his career. Especially a critical #1 pick. Nothing personal against Willis. The cap age dictates prudent moves to strengthen your club ASAP. You can only keep a good core together for a short time. The window of opportunity is much shorter than 10-15 years ago, when the cap didn't play into this and rosters had little yearly movement. Now the yearly roster turnover is extraordinary. Your paying this guy like he's one of your 8-12 core players...and he's still not 100 % recovered from his college injury. The issue of whether I expected him to be 100 % this year is moot. I hope we can use him correctly this season. Short yardage/goal line situations seem to be the ticket. If Henry goes down, I would hope the Coaching staff would explore the possibility of giving Williams some carries, instead of settling with Willis carrying 20 times for 60 yards. He isn't scaring anyone in the open field. Williams, on the other hand, could provide that big play threat. The Defense would have to respect that.. Flame away...
  18. He has looked better, no doubt about it. Last nights opening drive was so encouraging.
  19. I'm still rooting for Willis. I have little choice. You don't gamble on a damaged RB with a #1 pick... does nothing year one and still looks slow year 2. Shaud Williams and Simonton should never look better than this guy. They are both longshot undrafted FA's and make pennies. Yet both DO look better. What's ironic is that MaGahee may score 10 TD's if used in short yardage situations. He's so much bigger than the other backs. Is a short yardage specialist worth several million dollars ?
