Poor Fez, Microsoft considering Blu-ray for Xbox 360
The Tomcat replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'm glad I went w/the 360. The Blu Ray was the only thing that had me thinking about a PS3. -
Page one gives me an error but if I click page 2 its ok... Paul Harvey perhaps?

Rick Gosselin's first mock draft Team Player Pos. School 1. Oakland JaMarcus Russell QB LSU 2. Detroit Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma Matt Millen has struggled with top-10 picks in his stint as general manager of the Lions. Peterson would be a safe and popular choice. Detroit had success using first-round picks on Oklahoma runners Steve Owens (1970) and Billy Sims (1980). 3. Cleveland Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech 4. Tampa Bay Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame 5. Arizona Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin 6. Washington Gaines Adams DE Clemson 7. Minnesota LaRon Landry S LSU 8. Atlanta Leon Hall CB Michigan 9. Miami Alan Branch DT Michigan 10. Houston Amobi Okoye DT Louisville 11. San Francisco Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas 12. Buffalo Marshawn Lynch RB California 13. St. Louis Darrelle Revis CB Pittsburgh 14. Carolina Patrick Willis LB Mississippi 15. Pittsburgh Adam Carriker DE Nebraska Carriker is the prototypical defensive end for a 3-4 scheme. But his true value lies is his versatility. With his size (6-6, 296), he can line up at any of the four positions along the defensive line. 16. Green Bay Ted Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State 17. Jacksonville Jarvis Moss DE Florida 18. Cincinnati Reggie Nelson S Florida 19. Tennessee Robert Meachem WR Tennessee 20. N.Y. Giants Levi Brown OT Penn State 21. Denver Lawrence Timmons LB Florida State 22. Bowe is a physical receiver in the Michael Irvin mold. 23. Kansas City Justin Harrell DT Tennessee 24. New England Jon Beason LB Miami 25. N.Y. Jets Aaron Ross CB Texas 26. wouldn't see why he wouldnt. Seems like a nice fit to me. -
from BD (didn't see posted already...sorry if its a repeat) Holdman Visited: Sirius NFL Radio reports that the Bills hosted a free agent visitor. Washington free agent LB Warrick Holdman was at One Bills Drive. Holdman played for Dick Jauron in Chicago. He spent his first five seasons with the Bears followed by a year with Cleveland before ending up with the Redskins the past two seasons. Holdman plays on the outside and would add some valuable depth to a depleted linebacker corps. He had 69 tackles in 16 games last season. Seems like some nice depth and has ties with Jaurons defense.

Would it be surprising if Miami traded up for Quinn?

Hey...a Phin fan who actually has intellegent things to say...welcome. Why is Zach "God" Thomas being shopped...I thought he'd have his own Bruschi Bronze Statue by now. I wouldn't mind having Zach Thomas if the compensation was right. What do you think they can get for him? -

So far a few trends.... Quinn: Browns, Miami, Det, Min are the top teams Peterson: Vikes, Texans, Cleveland, Bills Willis: Buffalo, San Fran, Pitts or Min Okoye and Ginn mixed with Ginn having no pattern at all, which is why I threw him. interesting so far...good luck -
I'll take that bet as well...

A trade down and get more picks then pick Poz would be ok im my book. Use the 2nd to get Turner and the other 2nd (get for trade down) on a CB....leaves us with 2 3rds which we take a WR and another LB. Ding fries are done!

Only 1 guess per person-you must have been registered with TBD before 3/1/07. hmmm....I guess I'll make an exception.... -
10 RB Adrian Peterson Oklahoma Jr. 6-2 220 Yes, Michigan cornerback Leon Hall would be the safe pick, and the Texans' need in the secondary outweighs their need in the backfield. But are Ahman Green and Ron Dayne really the answer at running back, and can the Texans afford to alienate their fan base by passing on the draft's top-rated rusher for a second year in a row? The Texans could always shop this pick to the running back-lacking No. 12 Bills, too. Would you trade the #12 and our 2nd 3rd to move up 2 spots to get him?

Here's the rules. I'm offering $30 in the Bills pro-shop (or any shop on the Internet as long as Bills merchandise is purchased) I want you to tell me which team DRAFTS the following 5 players. If Player A is picked by team B and is then traded to team C....the team that DRAFTED him is what will count. Example- Calvin Johnson drafted by the Lions, traded to Atlanta, the answer is the Lions... You must have all 5 correct. If there is a tie, I will draw one winner. Only 1 guess per person-you must have been registered with TBD before 3/1/07. The contest ends 1 minute before the draft starts. Good luck Here are your 5 players. 1. Adrian Peterson 2. Patrick Willis 3. Brady Quinn 4. Amobi Okoye 5.Ted Ginn, Jr -

Farve is 100% certain that Randy Moss will be a Packer.
The Tomcat replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LIONS WOULD DRAFT-AND-TRADE JOHNSON As Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports, the Raiders are wrestling with the question of whether to take quarterback JaMarcus Russell or receiver Calvin Johnson with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. Owner Al Davis reportedly wants Russell, but offensive coordinator Greg Knapp -- who knows all too well the struggles relating to the development of a high-profile quarterback -- wants Johnson. We're now told that, if the Raiders don't pick Johnson, the Lions plan to snare the Georgia Tech wideout with an eye toward promptly trading him. It's a potential move that conjures memories of the deal that sent Eli Manning, the No. 1 pick in 2004, from the Chargers to the Giants for Philip Rivers, the No. 4 pick, and other picks that yielded linebacker Shawne Merriman and kicker Nate Kaeding. Possible trade partners include the Buccaneers, the Redskins, the Vikings, and the Falcons. It's unlikely, however, that the Lions would swap Johnson to another NFC North team. As to the Falcons, there is increased talk that the Atlanta football franchise would like to keep Johnson close to home. Seems like Calvin will be a hot commodity..... -

Although I think you've picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue I do find interesting your initial topic. If Moss is gone to GB and Calvin 'Klein' is taken #1, where Russell goes does throw a monkey wrench into things. That would really make things interesting. Why do you say Moss is 100% guaranteed? -
Tennessee still talking to San Diego about Turner.
The Tomcat replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The deadline for another team to sign a restricted free agent is April 20, although a trade could be completed after that date. Turner has visited the Titans and Bills. I think something is in the works....I'm thinking like a draft day trade with San Diego....if player A is not there at 12 or we can't get him we trade x to SD for Turner. Its weird how we haven't herd anything about the Turner visit. Queit....tooo Queit....
