  2. Big Lorax in college...
  3. Waited too long? He hasn't committed anywhere yet. His only other decent power conference offer is Washington.
  4. You know what's more free than $2.99 per month? $0.00 per month.
  5. That's fair, I just roll my eyes when reporter's ask uncomfortable questions that they already know the answers to.
  6. It's disrespectful for Carucci to even ask if he'd take a pay cut imo.
  7. Thanks. I really don't consider Bradford a "big splash" because I just consider him basically a trade for Tyrod. I can't imagine him taking a bigger hit to the cap than Tyrod would if he remains on the team.
  8. Ah, good catch, thanks. Didn't mean to include Holmes in the release transactions. He can add competition in training camp and if he makes the team, great. If he doesn't, great.
  9. Jerry Sullivan has earned my respect. And that means the world to him, probably.
  10. Proof that he's a filthy liar! And an ungrateful one, to boot!
  11. Oh, come on - these coaches are only paid millions of dollars to make sure these concussed, unpaid student-athletes get back out on the field and put their injured bodies on the line and win that meaningless crucial college football game game so that rich boosters can have bragging rights over their rich buddies who graduated from other colleges 30 years ago. Man up, pansies! This is important!
  12. I welcome disagreements, I just prefer them based on something. Cockrell is a good, durable player (one game missed in last three years) that we can get for less than $9.3 million annually.
  13. What's your argument? Cockell had more interceptions, more passes defended and a higher Approximate Value than Gaines in 2017.
  14. Cockrell would be less expensive for roughly the same production. So, yes.
  15. I just had a feeling that he never really bought it to being in Buffalo. The recent Instagram confirms that. His loss. Yeah I'm not sure either but he was impressive from what I saw in the Senior Bowl fwiw. Why not Cockrell? He's a good value player. Gaines is injury prone and appears to not want to be here. If the Chiefs can get a 3rd and a stud second-year corner on a 3rd round contract for a 35 year old Alex Smith, you don't think Bills can get a 4th for Tyrod?
  16. Lacks NFL arm strength. Sounds like a poor man's Nate Peterman.
  17. One scenario of thousands. Please add your thoughts. These are just my initial ideas on how I could see the offseason panning out. I usually stay away from Bills related forums between the Super Bowl and the Masters in April (aside from the first few days of free agency) so I wanted to get this created before Sunday. It's obviously way too early to determine draft order and it may not be realistic to acquire this many free agents (even though none will break the bank). I expect Bradford to simply take over Tyrod's cap space. And this scenario is with the (probably too optimistic) hope that the NFL relieves Eric Wood's contract from our cap based on the rare happenstance that occurred. 2018 Pre-6/1 Checklist Retain 2018 RFA's: TE Nick O'Leary, DE Eddie Yarbrough, CB Lafayette Pitts Work with NFL and NFLPA to remove Eric Wood's contract from the 2018 salary cap Trade QB Tyrod Taylor for a 2018 4th round pick Sign FA's: QB Sam Bradford, WR Paul Richardson, TE Ed Dickson, DT Daquan Jones, MLB Korey Toomer, OLB Tahir Whitehead, CB Ross Cockrell Trade DE Shaq Lawson for a 2018 4th-round pick 2018 NFL Draft 1 (21). 18. CornerBlitz said that Clay's release would provide "zero dollars of cap relief," which is false and I simply pointed that out. I don't want to release Clay.
  19. After June 1st, releasing Clay would add $4.5 to the cap as stated in the OP.
