When can we start to admit that the process failed?

Might actually be able to convince a talented, quality head coach to come here with all that cap space. -

If this team wins less than 9 games then I hope like hell we don’t see a fourth year. -
Bills at Browns Pre-Game thread
Wayne Arnold replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I responded to a comment that the Bills should just hand off to Singletary and don't stop until the game is over by stating that I'd prefer to see Allen throw it to John Brown, Cole Beasley and Dawson Knox instead. It apparently outraged people. "How dare you think the Bills should pass the ball today?!" How could you possibly interpret my statement as an "irrational denigration of Allen"? It looks like I'm the only one here who thinks the Bills can win by passing the ball. -

Good because people have completely misconstrued what I'm saying. Maybe that's on me. -

What confuses me is that people here expect the Bills will be able to just pound the football at will and win. It took four plays to gain one yard last week against the Redskins. -

It's the NFL. Any NFL defense can stop the run if that's all the opposing offense can do. Browns are going to put 11 men in box. Allen is going to have to actually pass the ball today if they're going to have a chance to win. -

We took a quarterback in the Top 10 and two seasons later we're still trying to win in spite of him instead of because of him. I am so sick and tired of this *****. -

I'd rather throw it to 15, 10 and 88 and don't stop until it's over. -

Yes, actually. Browns know if they lose today they're basically eliminated and their season is over. Right now they can convince themselves that they can run the table and maybe even still win a championship. Eagles showed us a few weeks ago how dangerous a team can be when they're desperate and have everything to lose. -

Juuuuuuuuuice is still craving the spotlight
Wayne Arnold replied to Cripple Creek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I follow OJ on Twitter and he's absolutely delightful. Seriously, you want to love him until you remember he decapitated the mother of his children and bludgeoned a 25 year old innocent bystander for good measure - and never showed a shred of remorse for it. But I can see why he spent so many years being able to fool people into adoring him. Charming as hell. -
Browns are favored for a reason.

Despite all the praise this thread wants to heap on Allen, the reality is that he’s near the bottom of the league in nearly every category. He needs to be better in the second half of 2019 than he was in the first half. Otherwise there’s no reason for an impartial person to think he’s any better than Trubisky.

Daboll is an excellent play caller
Wayne Arnold replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Daboll is doing fine. The last thing Allen and this franchise needs is another change in offensive coordinator/scheme. -
