I decided to go to Seattle next month for vacation. I've always wanted to visit the Pacific Northwest and since my beloved Boston Red Sox happen to be playing there the same time I have off makes it a no brainer! Anyone have any can't miss places to go while I'm there? I'm leaving next month for a week. I have Mt. ranier on my agenda. Maybe a boat ride to Bainbridge island. Definitely the Pike market and space needle are a must see. Anyone have any other places I should go? I'll be going alone so I can pretty much do what I want. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Thank you all for your excellent advice! I will definitely be PM'ing. Your help is greatly appreciated. I went to Provincetown on a day trip last year when I went to Boston. I didn't realize it was a strong Gay and lesbian community. It didn't bother me one bit. I met quite a few kind and wonderful people as I hopped from one bar to another. Loved the laid back vibe of Cape Cod. Definitely looking forward to just getting away and relaxing.
