Exactly. they knew there was a problem, Every team did. but the Bills downplayed it. Did it with others Drafted players too. Roll the dice, maybe a Bruce Smith, maybe a John McCargo type player/ career. Missing a few games if that no big deal. For an established NFL player. For a rookie missing training camp/pre season and unproven at the NFL level. he may come out of the gate a tad slow. Sitting in meetings, studying schemes is one thing. Contact in games with the Opposition is another. best of luck to the kid. he seems like a hard worker.

Jeff Fisher- why does this man still have a job?
Best Player Available replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just curious on the Rex talks a good game. And how it is effective? Sure the bobbleheads on TV love watching him spit out quotes He cannot back up on the field. One of his best was after he got hired was improving the dominant D he inherited. How did that work out? His gameday management reminds me of Jauron, or worse. he threw a couple of his players under the bus. One deservedly so. yet for some reason never pulled him in a single game. or better yet benched him. Some here even the drunkest kool aid drinkers know he is A look at me and my HUGE persona kind of dude. Talking S**t is great if you back it up in the W column. Right now,he has the biggestnmouth in the coaching ranks. And is out coached all the time by quality HC's. he will never lead the Bills to the promised land. A friggin wildcard game if that even happens would shock me. -
no worry's the Team will still win the off season paper champ trophy yet again. 16 years straight.

In 2014 Wynn earned his paycheck as a rotational player. Of several head scratching moves that one is odd too say the least. he is who he is. Depth. he held his own rotating in. Of course that year Ryan wasn't here.

it hasn't started and looks like it won't for awhile. This after OBD says nothing wrong with him. That is my issue. Ditto other players drafted. One didn't even play last season. Hows does the Wynn cut look now rex Doug? After you made him jump through hoops. Please, don't cherry pick my post and take things out of context. This is a fail at 19 in a season where There better be jobs on the line at OBD. Hopefully the kid turns out great. But, that was not my point In that post.

it wouldn't be cool. The contracts certainly had language that losing their front man would still guarantee their Paydays. Dinosaur bands and probably all bands now must take physicals and typically even have a doctor or more on tour with them. An example on how, crazy these policy's are Lloyd's typically the insurer writes in some, pretty crazy things. An example is,Keith Richards is forbidden to climb a tree for obvious reasons. Ron Wood was tested for alcohol in his physical. Even more bizarre are some musicans much like boxers must stay within a certain weight.Meatloaf apparently has an exemption. back to AC/DC the promoter had little to lose since huge bands take most of,the gate. All merchandising and a huge chunk of concessions. The people most hurt by cancelling these gigs were stadium employees, stage hands, sound companies, engineers for lightning, etc. and of course the fans. They are not under contract. In all AC/DC probably employees at least 140 people. besides their own assistants. And union employees to set up and tear down at each venue. Why continuing this,is not,a money grab per se. Down the line their ability to get the massive insurance required would get difficult too obtain to say the least. Axl is ok,from, what I have seen on you tube. There is no way he would ever become permanent. Surprised if he pulls these dates off without a meltdown. Paul Rudd has completed his probation. But visas most likely would be hard too get. the young brothers have always been known to run a tight ship. maybe a album could be in their future. But like most old bands touring is getting tough. Steve Miller once was great not anymore. he has a second guy playing a lot of his parts now. Ditto Peter Green his guy has Peter's tone and licks dialed in so well live you would swear it's greenie. sadly Peter is just playing along. It's for the most part all nostalgia now. The Who? Should have hung it up awhile ago. The never ending coming out of retirement tours since 84 are stagnant. And hit or miss. The TO show was okay. But yea peter still can do a few windmills that's what the audience wants and their happy. best of luck,to AC/DC their gigs have been better than most expected to,date. That's all that counts.

nailed it! Some who shall remain nameless will give a annual goodbye and see you next season post. Only to return in a week pouring heeps of Kool aid and calling anyome a troll or worse who isn't drinking it with them You know who you are. Please Pegs clean house after this year. Starting with the Ryan bros so the inevitable rebuild can begin and the playoff drought has a chance to end at 20 years. Imo

Fly out of Phoenix yesterday?

While TSA sucks more than ever. Everyone who fly's frequently usually has a luggage horror story. my personal best was flying from S.F. To Chicago. Our luggage went to the Philippines. WTF? -

Bills to retire #78 jersey at home opener
Best Player Available replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yea Bruce!!! The most deserving of that honor. I kind of wish Kent Hull's # would get retired. he was a bad ass MOFO and really helped Kelly more than waht he is already given credit for. RIP Kent. Congtats BRUUUUUUUce. -
if he can get 5+ mil on the open market. Where and who are these average #2's where you get the same production for half? And wouldn't they be the first ones signed league wide? If he becomes a FA I think he will be one of the early signings. Look at the QB's he had the past few years. last year he played hurt. The Bills lost hogan with a low ball offer. I would expect the same With Woods. Then they need two receivers unless somene on the roster today lights it up this year. The cycle continues.
