  1. I couldn't imagine . Would love to see the meeting they found out in.. In the thread posted about this derailing our season, I said I don't see any middle ground. Buf would either fall apart or gain even more fire in their belly. This news certainly has me thinking the latter and i think we absolutely spank the Patriots this week now that they know worse case scenario isn't happening
  2. Drs have said that if he was anywhere besides a hospital, that was the best place to be because of the medical experts around and yes they essentially brought him back to life on the field
  3. Hamlin asking who won the game when he woke up. I can't think of a better moment than winning the SB and having this man on stage holding the Lombardi. That'd be an all time great sports moments I'd give anything to see
  4. Yea brain damage was a concern, best possible outcome
  5. I can only imagine the pure joy he and the whole medical staff is feeling. That man saved a 24 year Olds life.
  6. Yes! Thank God. He's going to be overwhelmed with love he has gotten all over the world I'm sure the mood changed drastically at 1 Bills drive and they're ecstatic at this news
  7. I said that in the gameday thread Thought we were trying to fool them early
  8. I'm literally just hoping and praying that he wakes up , able to live life and sees the countless love that has been shown to him. He's going to be blown away I'm sure Cincy has an incredible fan base. They're amazing
  9. Who starts at FS?
  10. I'm hopeful he awakes by tonight. Was hoping 48 hours or at least get a legit update. Just hope he pulls through and can live and enjoy life
  11. You're good. That was a great, very honest post. I couldn't agree more and idk Damar personally but the fact he made it this far as a football player, I'm sure he would want nothing more than his brothers to kick ***
  12. I don't see no middle ground here. This nightmare is either going to inspire the guys and light a fire in their belly or totally derail them. I'm betting on the former but I wouldn't be surprised if the latter happened and I'd totally understand. This was visibly traumatic for everyone. As they say , a picture is worth a thousand words and this 1 sure is. Heartbreaking scenario
  13. Appreciate that buddy I understand where you're coming from and I respect it. Personally I don't care if he was Muslim, Jewish etc I just appreciated the gesture but you do have a point
  14. What drugs are used for sedation? And how often are they administered? Appreciate the insight
  15. I agree , if it were the Bills I'd want and expect an OL to knock him over and take the penalty, that was very disrespectful
  16. I trashed ESPN for years now like many on here have but they handled this nightmare with complete class and professionalism and this is just another example of their amazing coverage. Salute to ESPN
  17. The only issue I have is Troy Vincent who's representing the NFL, got on record saying they never spoke to ESPN about a 5 minute warmup and they have no idea where that news came from. Then ESPN releasing a statement saying they were in constant communication w/ league officials. He could have easily said these were uncharted waters and we didn't know what to do, we initially thought to have them take a break and then decided to leave it in the coaches hands, instead of lieing to make the league look better. I'm assuming ESPN is telling the truth here.
  18. I hope not. Obviously nobody in their right mind wants to see what happened Monday night but the game is already gotten too soft. It was a freak accident and I'm sure Damar will even agree when he wakes up
  19. I was in the game day thread. Lot of ppl were upset about the Taron play ,as was I.
  20. I feel like this is either going to make them stronger or weaker. No middle ground Knowing the guys on staff and in this locker room I'm betting on stronger but I'm content if it goes the other way
  21. Bills fan talking about the stadium experience. Gut wrenching
  22. I played until high school and if I was more gifted would have gladly played as long as possible. Unfortunately i was only 5'10 165 , so my dreams evaporated after HS. But I had a blast. Great memories I love this game and no matter what happens with Damar , I hope the game doesn't change. We know what we're signing up for when we hit that field. And myself and millions others love and risked our bodies to play this game I'm 33 and I'm sickened by this and I don't know Damar personally but I'm pretty certain , for him to reach this level, he loved this game and wouldn't want it to change. We all know the dangers and signed up anyway. Kinda like going to war. This is an extremely physical, strategic and violent game. That's a reason I love it and I'm sure many others. Watching a 24 y/o clinging to life makes me sick. I'd be sick if he wasn't a Bill but it makes it that much more personal. But anyone that played or is a real fan knows that this was a possibility on any given Friday, Saturday or Sunday It's just prayers to Damar Hamlin and his family and the game goes on.
  23. I really don't have an issue with this. It was an unprecedented moment. I do have a problem with Troy Vincent lieing and saying they never spoke..
  24. I honestly didn't like him when he worked MNF on that moving thing , idk what to call it but he's solid in studio and he was visibly shaken and I think crying. Great commentary from him and Clark. Great guy for real
