  1. Awesome . Super impressive that a 21 y.o kid in college set up a Go Fund Me for underprivileged kids.
  2. Ya I'm tripping. He can decline a waiver right?
  3. If he was released he'd be a FA I'd take him for the playoffs. Def not next year though
  4. I doubt they'd restrict him from watching gm on tv. He's definitely going to be hospitalized for 1 -2 more weeks while drs come up with an exact cause and treatment plan. I'm just so happy he's breathing on his own and on his way to a full recovery
  5. Let's go Raiders!! KC just got by Hou/Den LV should be highly motivated. Ya never know We basically rested our guys last week so even if it were meaningless I think they play the majority of the gm
  6. Especially with how good Dane, Benford and Elam have performed and how much better they could get, I wouldn't be opposed. That'd mean we def lose Poyer though , with Hyde under contract next year
  7. I couldn't imagine . Would love to see the meeting they found out in.. In the thread posted about this derailing our season, I said I don't see any middle ground. Buf would either fall apart or gain even more fire in their belly. This news certainly has me thinking the latter and i think we absolutely spank the Patriots this week now that they know worse case scenario isn't happening
  8. Drs have said that if he was anywhere besides a hospital, that was the best place to be because of the medical experts around and yes they essentially brought him back to life on the field
  9. Hamlin asking who won the game when he woke up. I can't think of a better moment than winning the SB and having this man on stage holding the Lombardi. That'd be an all time great sports moments I'd give anything to see
  10. Yea brain damage was a concern, best possible outcome
  11. I can only imagine the pure joy he and the whole medical staff is feeling. That man saved a 24 year Olds life.
  12. Yes! Thank God. He's going to be overwhelmed with love he has gotten all over the world I'm sure the mood changed drastically at 1 Bills drive and they're ecstatic at this news
  13. I said that in the gameday thread Thought we were trying to fool them early
  14. I'm literally just hoping and praying that he wakes up , able to live life and sees the countless love that has been shown to him. He's going to be blown away I'm sure Cincy has an incredible fan base. They're amazing
  15. Who starts at FS?
  16. I'm hopeful he awakes by tonight. Was hoping 48 hours or at least get a legit update. Just hope he pulls through and can live and enjoy life
  17. You're good. That was a great, very honest post. I couldn't agree more and idk Damar personally but the fact he made it this far as a football player, I'm sure he would want nothing more than his brothers to kick ***
  18. I don't see no middle ground here. This nightmare is either going to inspire the guys and light a fire in their belly or totally derail them. I'm betting on the former but I wouldn't be surprised if the latter happened and I'd totally understand. This was visibly traumatic for everyone. As they say , a picture is worth a thousand words and this 1 sure is. Heartbreaking scenario
  19. Appreciate that buddy I understand where you're coming from and I respect it. Personally I don't care if he was Muslim, Jewish etc I just appreciated the gesture but you do have a point
  20. What drugs are used for sedation? And how often are they administered? Appreciate the insight
  21. I agree , if it were the Bills I'd want and expect an OL to knock him over and take the penalty, that was very disrespectful
  22. I trashed ESPN for years now like many on here have but they handled this nightmare with complete class and professionalism and this is just another example of their amazing coverage. Salute to ESPN
  23. The only issue I have is Troy Vincent who's representing the NFL, got on record saying they never spoke to ESPN about a 5 minute warmup and they have no idea where that news came from. Then ESPN releasing a statement saying they were in constant communication w/ league officials. He could have easily said these were uncharted waters and we didn't know what to do, we initially thought to have them take a break and then decided to leave it in the coaches hands, instead of lieing to make the league look better. I'm assuming ESPN is telling the truth here.
  24. I hope not. Obviously nobody in their right mind wants to see what happened Monday night but the game is already gotten too soft. It was a freak accident and I'm sure Damar will even agree when he wakes up
