  1. Get outta here, JSP. Damn your negativity.
  2. Now this is the thread to come to for some knowledge.
  3. Exactly. I never saw anyone bench press RBs who dared to run up the gut the way Mike Singletary did.
  4. Nope. Looks like you're right. Ah well, I do like Ourlads. They do a great job of scouting past the top 10 prospects.
  5. Haha!! My wife is the same way.
  6. I'll be @ RICH Stadium for the draft party, but I'm sure someone will check in to see how badly Marv (or is it Marve?) sucks as GM after wasting each pick.
  7. Wow, $32 bucks? I know I just ordered it a few days ago, and I don't think it was that much. I currently have 6 of the newstand ones, plus a few online subscriptions, a CD I ordered, and a bunch of the free websites. In addition to the Ourlads, I also ordered Kiper's, TFY's (I'm giving them a second chance; they used to be the best, but then went and added photos and stuff and became crappy), and PFW's (lost a little w/ Buschbaum's death, but they're still very good). The Billszone one? They have some members of their site currently working on that one now. It should be ready shortly.
  8. It's too bad the NFL Network isn't as widespread as ESPN, because their coverage of last year's draft was miles ahead of ESPN. Hopefully, the various cable and satellite providers will get their stuff together and make NFL Network available to anyone.
  9. I'd take Barbara Bermudo before Jackie, but both are very nice.
  10. Maybe now he'll pac up his stuff and get outta town.
  11. Just some guy.
  12. You mean, nobody wanted to trade for a QB the Texans don't want and badly wanted to trade so that they could get some sort of value for? Teams actually waited for him to be released so that they could sign him, to a more cap friendly contract in all probability, instead? Shocking.
  13. Watch out; here comes Simon!
  14. Barber may indeed be the go-to back Dallas needs. He's shown himself to be the better in-between the tackles runner and is very effective in goal line/short yardage situations. He's not great @ making guys miss in the open field, but he's not horrible @ it, either. I think he can handle being the lead back, if they decide to go that route.
  15. Crowell played ILB in a 3-4 @ UVA.
  16. Not @ all. People just want to transpose Bush onto a different team and believe that he'd perform the same. That's ridiculous. In New Orleans, he has a better line, better QB play, more receivers (though I feel Johnson is better than any one WR on the Saints' roster, but they have more in terms of young talented WRs), and a veteran RB who was able to carry the load in terms of carries, so that Bush did not have to. It's apples and oranges, and speculation on how he'd do in a less advantageous situation (like Houston) is just that: speculation.
  17. Hahaha!!! I've heard him compared to Archie Manning in that respect. Difference is, @ least Manning was able to carve some sort of career out of it, even though he was stuck on a real sorry Saints team. Being named NFL MVP while QBing that team is nothing short of a miracle.
  18. Hmm......Levi Brown or LaRon Landry, perhaps? Either would be a good move for them. Even if Spencer rehabs and returns to the lineup, they need all the OL help they can get, so Brown would be a good choice. Also, CC Brown isn't setting the world on fire in the secondary, so Landry would have little trouble breaking the starting lineup, I believe. Or they could go after Bledsoe, I mean, Quinn, if he falls to them.
  19. If only the Texans had taken Bush. No way he wouldn't have run for 1,900 yards and 22 TDs behind that line. In fact, he would've shown that he actually can run between the tackles and that there's no need for a Deuce McAllister type back to really carry the load. Oh, and he still would've had 'bout 98 receptions and they would've been for more than 'bout 6 yards a pop, too.
  20. Even though I don't care for sarcasm, I did appreciate yours.
  21. Considering how they benched Brunell toward the end of last season and replaced him w/ Campbell, I wouldn't bet on that.
  22. Or quarterback. Lest we forget, Neil O' Donnell could bench over 400lbs.
  23. Haha!! Exactly. All they would've needed to go w/ Bush is another back to handle the 20-25 carries (while he plays the flanker role), a QB like Brees, an offensive line featuring a stud tackle like Jammal Brown, and a corps of young wideouts like Devery Henderson and Marques Colston. Not too much; they're almost there.
  24. Good move for Schaub, as the Falcons seem determined to make Michael Vick their QB @ all costs, and for the Texans, where Kubiak is none too pleased w/ the development of David Carr.
  25. If one of the QBs fall to them, they could go in that direction. I believe there's a good chance the Texans would draft S LaRon Landry of LSU if he's still on the board, which he may very likely be @ their pick.
