  1. I think it was funnier over in the thread on the Stadium Wall. Maybe you should've remembered the "rolleyes" smilie? Oh well.
  2. Logic be damned; we want a huge run stuffing DT!!! Once we get that, we're goin' to the Super Bowl, baby!
  3. Courtney Brown? Probably. A 3 time Pro Bowl LB a "bust"? Nah. You can say he didn't live up to his hype, but to me, a bust is someone who did absolutely nothing @ the next level. Arrington doesn't meet that criteria. Tony Mandarich was a bust, as was Brian Bosworth, Ryan Leaf, and Akili Smith, among others.
  4. Can someone tell me, once again, just how many rounds the NFL draft is?
  5. Yep. I vividly remember all of those first round busts PSU had @ RB, like Blair Thomas, Curtis Enis, and especially KJ. That last first round bust they had particularly convinced me.
  6. Oh yeah? Well, what 'bout this one:
  7. Heck, I don't even think Posluszny is the best defensive player on his own team. That honor goes to Joe Cianciolo. Joe Pa didn't like him, so he put Posluszny in there, becasue he knew it would be easier to cash in favors so that Puz could get awards he didn't deserve, like 2 Bednariks and the Butkus award he stole last year. Joey C wuz robbed! As for who the best defensive player was last year, that's a toughie. It could be Ryan Smith of Florida. I hear the coaches screwed w/ him scheme-wise, which is why he only had 8 INTs last year instead of the 19 he should've had. Nelson only had 6 INTs, and he was Urban Meyer's boy. I hear ol' Urban cashed in some favors so that Reggie would get all of the hype over Ryan. What a shame.
  8. Ahhh, what the heck. I'll be bold and take the Arizona Cardinals.
  9. The thread is now open. All teams are available to anyone, except Philadelphia is not available to stuckincincy. Neither is Cincinnati.
  10. This thread is now open.

  13. This is the thread where requests for teams should be posted. I will update the list as the teams are selected. Selections are honored on a first come, first serve basis. [REMINDER: The 3 round TBD Mock Draft begins on Monday, April 2nd, at 10:00am EST (time has been changed due to circumstances beyond my control)] RULES FOR 3 ROUND MOCK DRAFT: The TBD 3 Round Mock Draft will start Monday, April 2nd 2007 at 9:00am. Since some people may have difficulty using the chat room, we will do a threaded draft. There will be some rules that will be STRICTLY adhered to in the interest of keeping the draft from becoming too time consuming. TIME LIMITS For the first round, you will have a maximum of 5 minutes to make your selection. Trades are allowed, as long as the agreed upon trade is submitted within your 5 minute time limit. For both the second and third rounds, you will have a maximum of 3 minutes to make your selection or to submit an agreed upon trade. Everyone is welcome to participate. Please be mindful of the other participants, though. We want this draft to be successful and run smoothly, so if you have any concerns about having the time to participate, please PM me before we begin. Any GM that fails to submit a pick or agreed upon trade in their allotted time will FORFEIT THEIR PICK! If there are any other questions or concerns about the mock draft, feel free to PM me. Have fun!
  14. You mean we didn't win the March Championship this year? Damn, and I thought this was our year, after seeing the Cardinals steamroll their way to one last year.
  15. I've heard Jerry once or twice before.
  16. Schein can get annoying w/ all the high pitched whining. Miller is someone worth listening to on Sirius though. The surprising thing is that the more I get to listen to Solomon Wilcots, the less intelligent he seems. There was a time when I thought he was one of the best in the business. I'm not so sure any more.
  17. Holcomb is rated a 91 while Losman is just a 76. Spikes is rated a 98 and Fletcher is a 95 while any Bills LB is only a 47.
  18. Translation: Marve sucks and we'll be lucky to finish up 5th in the AFC East.
  19. You forgot to inject a whole lot of "Tim Ryan sez:" in between just about every quote from either Carucci or Kirwan.
  20. All you can do is hope the guy returns to form. I think it'll be tough for anyone, even a well conditioned athlete like Takeo, to make a full recovery from such an injury. Ask Ed Hartwell and Sam Cowart how easy it is.
  21. It's 'bout that time again! We'll be starting our own 3 round mock draft here on Monday, April 2nd. There will be a thread started tomorrow morning where people can select a team to draft for. The thread will open @ 10:00am EST. Teams will be appointed on a first come, first served basis, w/ the exception of the Buffalo Bills, whose picks will be voted on by the participants in the mock draft.
  22. Nah. Even if they win it. A playoff system isn't perfect, but it is the best way to determine a champion. I gotta figure that's why everyone else uses one, except for figure skating, division 1a football, and other sports that rely on judges (pollsters/writers).
  23. Actually, Peter, it will be for two second round picks and a swap of our first round pick w/ the other team.
  24. Adam Schein, is that you?
