  1. Anyone who thought the Bills could win the super bowl entering the ’22-‘23 playoffs should LOVE them this year! Think about it. In ’22 - The Bills ran out of Safeties (playing guys I never heard of) In ’23 - They keep both Poyer & Hyde (the best safety duo in the NFL: when both on the field have led ALL NFL SAFETIES in INTs & Scoring Defense) In ’22 - They were missing the Super Bowl whisperer (aka Von Miller) to injury In ’23 - He returns with a chip on his shoulder In ’22 - They had a corner-by-committee and on the other side they plugged in Tre’Davious White who returned from a serious injury, and with some mental health issues (not wanting to play, because he knew he wasn’t the same corner as he was before the injury) In ’23 - TRE'DAVIOUS is coming off a full OFF SEASON where he can actually prepare at full speed and get back to his shut-down self. As for Kaiir Elam - the improvement from YEAR 1 to YEAR 2 is going to MVP like crazy. In ’22 - Buffalo ranked LAST in receiving yards by TE’s, and second to LAST in the league in dropped passes. In ’23 - They get a guy who’s been training since he could walk to catch passes - his punishment: if you drop one, we stop playing. Ken Dorsey gets to insert 2 TE sets in an already feared offense, giving the Bills a whole new dimension, and Josh Allen gets another weapon (who is reliable to catch the football!) In ’22 -Buffalo’s RB’s ranked 25th in the league in rushing, however, rookie James Cook made the most of his carry’s, leading NFL RB’s at 5.7 ypc In ’23 - they get a physical back in Damien Harris and Cook enters his 2nd season. “Thunder & Lightening” In ’22 - Buffalo added Nyheim Hines (late) and I’m pretty sure his first 2 plays in a Bills uniform were kickoff returns for touchdowns In ’22 - there was too much pressure on Gabe Davis to be “the missing piece” In ’23 - Gabe can go back to being Gabe (stop trying to make him a player he’s not) In ’22 - Mitch Morse got injured and we all know how devastating that was. (Poor snaps, fumbles, and broken pass protection.) In ’22 - I recall a host of other injuries to the Offensive Line which included Tackle Spencer Brown In ’22 - Josh Allen was putting up RECORD BREAKING NUMBERS, then he tears his collateral ligament (and suddenly he can’t hit an open receiver). In ’23 - He’s back and with improved weapons! In ’22 - There was so much emotion going on with the injuries, and Damar having to be resuscitated on the field, the cancelled Bengals game, KC getting home field by default, and they just couldn’t possibly be 100% focused on the playoffs with Damar being in recovery In ’23 - Damar takes the field to INSPIRE THIS TEAM! Ken Dorsey is heading into his 2nd season as OC. Greg Rousseau is becoming a monster! The D-Line will be better, as teams are forced to Double Von Miller. Sure it’s a little concerning that Leslie Frazier decided to take a year off (whatever that means). But if you remember before the injuries piled up last year, the Bills not only led every statistical category on offense, but no one could score on them! Let’s return to that defense with a healthy secondary and Von at full strength! It’ll be a scary defense! Pending injuries, Buffalo is in a better position than they were a year ago! Plus having to play Rodgers twice will make this team more playoff ready - ever game will be like a playoff in the AFC East (Miami, Jets, and even New England should be better!) And for you haters on Buffalo’s first round selection - I predict Dalton Kincaid wins ROOKIE OF THE YEAR! LET’S GOOOO BUFFALO! Sincerely, -ted
  2. This is a very STRONG argument you have... McKelvin has never played a down in the NFL and McGee is going into his 6th season where he gets absolutely owned by any receiver taller than 5'10". McGee had Zero INT's in 2006 and his 4 INT's last season were (2) against the Jets, (1) against Miami and (1) against the Giants in an ice storm where McGee was simply in the right place at the right time. Great argument!
  3. hmm... i'm a little curious as to who voted for (0-16) and (16-0), lets be realistic.... the Bills will not go undefeated, nor will they go 0-16. MY VOTE: 15-1 In Marv I trust - GO JP!!!
  4. Ok, so the Bills have many options at #12. Does Buffalo use that pick to trade for Turner, do the Bills trade up for Peterson, does Peterson fall to #12, do the Bills go P. Willis, do they select M. Lynch or will there be another curve ball thrown to buffalo fans? For all of you P. Willis fans out there, what if Buffalo traded their first round pick for a proven, first team pro-bowl selection in Lance Briggs. Not saying I want Buffalo to trade their first for Briggs, just making the point that I'd rather trade this pick for Briggs than for Turner and bringing up the question who'd you rather have on the Bills - Briggs or Willis?
  5. Agreed... and Price, he had 49 receptions in his first year back with Buffalo; Price is a legitimate #2. And lets not forget, Marv is a fan of utilizing his TE and RB... Thurman averaged about 50 - 60 receptions per year, during his prime.
  6. A stud running back may sellout tickets, but a stellar defense is what will win us games... 1. Patrick Willis 2. Poz Why not? Last year Buffalo drafted: Safety, DT, CB, Safety, DT… why not stick with defense and go LB, LB?
  7. Was this arcticle an April Fools joke? You gotta be kidding me... Comparing Lynch to Peterson is like comparing McGahee to LT. Now, if Marv thinks he's worth it, well - in marv i trust. But next time you post, why don't you know what you're talking about. So let me get this straight, if both Peterson and Lynch were available at #12, you would rather Buffalo draft Lynch? And about your piece on Turner... fact is, if Buffalo can fill their RB void by trading a 3rd round selection to the Chargers, this will enable Buffalo to use their #12 elsewhere. I don't agree with trading our #12 for Turner, and I don't think anyone does. Now take a chill pill, it's going to be ok.
  8. Forget about the charcter guys, I want a big, bad, dumb, psycho mofo that's terrible at interviews, but when you tell him to run the ball and don't stop, he does exactly that! In Marv we trust!!!
  9. MLB, easy.... I mean, c'mon. The draft will come, both Peterson and Willis will be available at 12 and then the Bills will draft a safety. Good One Buffalo Joking - In Marv we trust!!!
  10. Lets be honest, there's no RB worth a 1st round pick, other than Peterson... forget about Lynch at 12. Also, Turner is not going to provide any value to SD if he stays, so I think we should stick to our guns with a 3rd round selection. Besides, all of the other teams interested in Turner are atleast 7 draft picks behind the Bills, so unless someone offers a 2nd or 1st round pick, Turner will be a Bill by the end of the draft.
  11. GOOD ONE! I just got off a conference call with Marv and Whitner, us 3 are in the process of making a trade with Cleveland to move up to #3.
  12. I guess Bills fans rank #1 of all franchises on the pain and suffering meter: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...oenfield/070328 hmm... I hope I can use this in court... I knew there was a reason I killed all those people.
  13. Ahh.. you guys are funny. Obviously parts of this arcticle were a bit sarcastic, but lets be honest... The Bills have never been known for making much noise in the offseason and to see Marv come in and take action, I like it. As for being the best team, player for player - well, maybe a little sarcastic again, but we definitely have alot of young players with a ton of upside. Evans in only his 3rd season was 70 yards away from leading the NFL in receiving. I like the way Whitner and JP have developed and yeah, Ellison may need to put on a few pounds, but I definitely think we will be a more ballanced team this season and I'm very optimistic about making the playoffs.
