  1. Don't hold your breath... lol....
  2. But he wasn't charged with a crime. No prosecutor brought charges. No Defense attorney needed. No if they found he stole State funds, then yes, hire a Defense attroney. You're just !@#$ing with us, right?
  3. So he was a Reputation Attorney? Come on, man, stop- you are making yourself look bad. Sometimes its best to bow out before one embarasses themselves.
  4. Pft, that guy has been raped so much, do you think it would humane to let Brady have his way with him?
  5. Gator has just redefined what a Defense attorney does. Brilliant.
  6. Do they help the Bills stop the running game?
  7. I really look forward to seeing Christie in the race. I love when he gets animated and gets into it with people and other candidates, hes got the fire I don't see in many candidates coming up.
  8. Like I always say, sometines you just have to kill a B word
  9. Holy ****. I never noticed that was and L, it makes so much more sense... Come to think of it, you're right.... Just that pesky health reform....
  10. Ship that **** direclty to Ukraine and those surrounding Russia- Putin, take your oil eslewhere.
  11. I find it creepy and unsettling to think of using human remains as fuel source. Because I work in the industry, I am not in the dark about that happens to non-full body remains... but the thought of "man my office is cozy on this cold winter day" and that heat being generated by dead babies and legs and tumors makes me kind of cringe. I'd prefer not to see puposely aborted humans being used in this manner. But from a practical, health safety standpoint I get it. I'd also prefer to see sex education, condoms and contraception being a priority in our society since few of us can keep it locked up becasue of our buring desires to stick it in. Overall, I'd like to see abortion become a distant issue because we just don't see it or do it that often anymore, with a goal of zero occurance at some point. 3rdning, we rarely agree on much here, but I don't think it is weird to feel creeped out about stuff like this- and too question its moral place.
  12. I guess it comes down to ethics then- are you truly hard up, or just don't want to pay for anything. Not different than people who collect welfare rather than trying to get a job and get out... just easier to work the system.. one of the same in my view.
  13. So you don't report your income for Federal taxes? So you work the system and then when you need a couple of hundred thousand in care, you pass it onto everybody else because you were above contribution to risk pools? Thats come perosnal responsibility for ya. If you think stealing money from others and getting a free ride is ok, then that is your choice, you have to look in your own mirror. I don't live my life that way, I pay my share, I am glad I did when I ran up 50K in Medical Bills last year- you don't have to thank me, I pay my own way, always have always will. and yes, I get it. Its all about YOU, even if it is on the back of others. Oh, I get it.
  14. Or people who are on their own now, and want to have insurance coverage because they do not have an employer including it intheir pay package. I'd rather have coverage than no coverage... but thats just me, too much to protect.
  15. Oh yes, and the guy redoing our roof told me he is thinking of leaving the country, with healthcare reform among other items, this country is becoming Socialist.. he plans to go to Australia. I wonder what he will think of their Nationalized Healthcare System? Americans- so outraged, so poorly informed, so much fun to listen too. Hardship would almost surely mean completely subsidized policies. Why would would not having insurance be better than having insurance. That makes no sense. A double down on a convoluted, adminstratvely inneffient mess that costs way more and delivers the same or less than comparative systems in advanced nations. Whats not too like? What will be great is when the GOP unveils its replacement, and it is essentially the exact same after special interests gets their cuts again, but it will be completely different and free market because the legislation will have the word Freedom or Choice in it... Its a circus- and expensive one that fails to meets Americans needs in many respects, but still fund to watch. Different Circus, Same Clowns.
  16. So here a question. Its always been maintained that people can just pay the tax and not buy ACA plans, but the enrollment period ends 3/31. So if you pass on buyign and do not have a qualifying event, and you get sick, you can't just sign up... I like the way this was written more and more.
  17. they're not- there are 8 compaines in Colorado and varying plans in details of coverage among them. I see where you are going to make the point, but the premise really isn't realistic. Its sucks for those affected, but I do believe with any reform there is collaterall damage. http://www.whitehouse.gov/healthreform seems to work fine, B
  18. The best course of action is not giving he or his tribe any attention. While !@#$ed up and offensive, they are still probably human beings and I am sure his family will be saddended by his loss. I don't take any happiness is dealth and sadness.
  19. Some people swear by, in fact gush about Kaiser. Seemless EMR, centralized copays and labs, on time appointments, probably the least expensive overall cost of policy ownership... I wouldn't buy Kaiser, but the deliver care much less, much less than we do- but when push comes to shove, I want to be at the academic medical center, or at least have that option. The point is people bithcing about choice are often the ones impressed by the likes of Kaiser- the network limited, self contained Health Maintenance organization. I didn't say they were, and the President has made concession to let people stay on those plans temporarily. The point is plans change all the time, I am not sure why people can't find a new plan that meets their needs.. insurance companies drop clients both in medical and vehicle all the time, they more on and find new coverage... Its sucks people have to lose their "perfect" plan, but when there is an attempt to reform industries there are some broken eggs so to speak- choice is whine about it incessently, or buck up and move forward. Not saying its fair.
  20. are you thinking about enlisting? I wonder what portion of the article motivated you?
  21. How is Kaiser not the perfect comparison? People make a choice to sign on for insurance that limits their network of providers? All of the sudden, plans on the exchanges that are managed care are and major afront to choice and freedom. Please, the comparison is perfect. As far as cost, every adminstator knows the true cost of an MRI- its pretty simple quick and dirty break even anaysis will give you that number. Its the price you set for covering such things as indirect expenses that skews that number. I have never said the payment system in healthcare is not !@#$ed up, I don't want private insurers and shell games, but that is what we have.
  22. Had a conversation with an employee today about ACA. She was slamming it because she pays $50 a pay period out of her check for health insurance here at work, and cited she would pay $400 a month on the Colorado exchange!!!! I asked her what her employer chipped in as part of her salary and benefit package? He said nothing, her insurance cost $100 a month.... turn out her employer bebefit credit was $275/month bring her insurance to $375/ month. Still cheaper than ACA! until you realize her deductible was $7500 and the excahnge plan was $5,000 Its so difficult to have honest, meaningful conversations about health in this country when Americans don't understand the mere basics of their insurance policy, how much they are, and how they are paid for. Its so frustrating.... yeah, but he so entertaining... so theres that. I assume basic empathy for the human bring is the only reason. Is it compelling enough? And another thing, why do people think the the ACA is the first time networks have been constricted and limited... where do people hear this ****?.. Kaiser, one of the most efficient and cost effective models for HC delivery is the very embodiment of captive, closed networks. I hear people who rave about Kaiser but in the same breathe B word that the ACA would limit where they can go for care... your with KAISER!!!!! are people really that ill informed on this stuff??
  23. and to think it got worse when Al Davis died... jesus H. Nobody, and I mean nobody has fisted themselves like the Oakland Raiders... from Drafting, to FA, to Cap management to playing an offense that died 20 years ago in the NFL, they are the model of a disfunctional septic tank. The Bills much like other teams are a QB away from being in that 8-10 win range. By sheer luck if we can every nail a QB, we will be back to respectability...
