  1. Pics or it didn't happen.....
  2. Bills Rule, made into Blzrul.... Am I right? If reducing the scope of government, reducing spending, preserving liberty and adhering to constitutional intentions doesn't intrigue an American, there is something wrong with you.... Not saying you have to agree, but mockery is the purest form of flattery.
  3. Not really a very good comparison. The VA is much like Medicare in the sense they take on pateints that no private insurers wants to touch in any way shape or form- and that compendable as a Nation- we take care of the elderly, we take care of the brave who sacrificed... Heres what you do: You find out who was reponsible and immediately clear house- there are too many troops coming back all !@#$ed up for this type of BS to be happening. In the meantime, you give all those underserved in the VA system right now clearance to go to a hospital or provider of their choice until this mess is corrected. We already to Tricare outpatient services here, so they public/ private venture is already working.
  4. Its not a parallel comparison- Obama presides over a war fatigued nation that has finally wound down 2 almost deacdes long wars, and a Congress that showed it didn't have the stomach for authorizing force in Syria if needed. Putin is not stupid, he knows the situation in Washington, Republicans will go against Obama no matter what he decides, as evidenced by Syria... and I happen to agree with not using force there, as I am tired of gettig in the middle of these siuation as well- now if there was a strike here domestically, or a direct strike on an ally I htink they would all put politis aside and mobilize. Putin knows this, he knows where its at- he can do whatever he likes, within that fine line. Given the same set of circumstances, I think Bush would be in the same position- a country tired of conflicts wihtout a clear objective.
  5. I like to give the guy some slack, he has presided over a quite unique time in US history- a devestating recession, and partisanship like we have not seen at least in my lifetime. And the same slack was alloted to GWB- I think he !@#$ed up big by pushing into Iraq, but he faced a bitter opposition and campaign of nastiness and contempt I have not seen since I started following politics.
  6. What was he going to accomplish this year, in the end, with November on the horizon? Nothing. So why all the fuss? Donors are thinking 2016- they are holding their funds for Hillary. At this point BHO will get nothing passed in Congress, and the Republicans will run out the clock like the article said in hope of holding the Seante, House and Executive Office in 2016. Get read for nothing getting done until 2016, mayeb even longer.
  7. "No" was the word that i heard most in my upbringing..... Wait till those kids end up at a job and the boss says "No, you can;t have that time off to explre and be curious"-- meltdown.
  8. Societies evolve, they are not stagnant. When citizens' needs are met, they begin to nitpick about what I call First World Problems. People begin to seek things they can change, with what I truly believe is the best intentions. If people had no access to heathcare, drank water from dirty rivers and their food was contanimanted and likly to kill them, all of the sudden a football team called the "Redskins" doesn't seem like that big a priority. I guess in the end people are looking for perfect actualization of society... its what bored, overprivildge people do.... the other day I got corrected by a mother who said they don't use the word "Fat" in their home... I can't remember what termed they used, but it was stupid... people are Fat, it whats stored in their large bodies, and why do we have to save kids from understanding that Fat is not ideal in any way, from how you feel to your health.
  9. I admire you wanting to dig into the syntax here, or maybe its semantics..... in the end who cares which it is.... the Judge wants Bhut Seks, or want to Will Buht Seks on someone, and that is just solid intepretation of the law in my book.
  10. Kentucky has a Democratic Governor, so I don't know if its his decision/ role- but I guess ideology is set aside and you will try anything if what you're doing isnt working? Heck, if Common Core produces desirable results that t help American kids become more competitive in the world, why no build on that? School Choice is often described as a loony right wing plot to undermine public schools and **** on poor kids- but in realilty, it helps alot of people with no choices among **** options. Common Core in that article in described as Socialist Indoctrination Manifesto, but in reality it seems to work in some places where performance and results are poor. If it works, why not build on it? Seems pretty simple.
  11. You're damn right. Justice is served, B word.
  12. Like in Federal "Pound me in the Ass" Prison?
  13. Its funny, I just put down an article on a waiting room on Common Core. Kentucky has had success in since implementing these standards in 2010 in increasing Math, Reading, College Prepardness and Graduation rates among public school students. I guess Common Core was created with College and Work as the ultimate goal, meaning what skills do kids need to have to succeed in those two areas. Also, it was created to help our children compete for better proficiency in stated areas as compared to kids internationally, where we rank behind many other nations. 4 States were yet to adopt the standards, TX, NB Al and one other I can't remember. The contention is is takes control out of the hand of local governments over education, but I am ot sure. The article said that 10th grade material was now being introduced in 8th grade. Less skills, more in depth. Sounds interesting.
  14. Is the answer Suprize Bhut Seks?
  15. Laughing so hard I am crying.....
  16. #D521646isaterribleposter I fear how little some people in this country might know without Twitter.
  17. what other reason is there for Social Media? It is literally an awareness machine. Why do you think it is so vaulable and so successful?
  18. Fair enough. It why I don't use social media, I can't get people to leave me the !@#$ alone as it is. Unfortunately, e-caring and e-socializing is the new norm. I see it as no different than around Christmas when I get those pre-printed pictures of friends families with Happy Holidays on them... Why the !@#$ are you sending me a pictures of you to wish my a Merry Christmas? I make it a tradition ever year to open the stack so I can laugh about how thoughtless and self centered these people are, and how they didn't even have depth to actually address the card with a pen... No, a !@#$ing cockeyed label from a laser printer. You know what, changed my mind. !@#$ing stupid.
  19. Meh, it a way for people to get their voice out, and expression of concern. So is #BostonStrong in the same arena? Why not call out all those pussies for expressing their concern and hope, and not doing anything personally about it. We look for any reason to B word and call people out in this country... Who gives a **** if some wants to show concern over and awful event? What have we come to in this Nation, so god damn petty.
  20. 400 million per unit. That sounds ridiculously expensive. 40 Million sounds expensive. What exactly does this 400 million dollar machine do that is so special.
  21. Does anybody really believe Claw couldn't outwit Gadget, even with Penny's help? What kind of villan is that?
  22. Teabagger I win again.
  23. A High School Junior, has sex with a 7th Grader.... there is a bug difference between Freshman and Junior for the most part, feels to me like the kid might be a litte !@#$ed up, whether he realizes it or not. My buddy's brother got caught in a sting in FLA chatting with a teen age girl, explicitly. When she asked him to meet her, he said no, in fact he needed to end the interactin because it was inappriopraite. He was arrested, spent 250K in legals fees to keep him out of 2 years in prison, and now in on the registry and has 1 shot at getting off of it after 10 years. I thought the label was alittle harsh, too punitive, until my buddy shared more details about people who are like his brother, their specific issues, recitivism, etc. I do believe one size fits all is crazy, but there seems to be alot more to lighter cases that most would believe.
