Vermont will be your test case for comparison- you can compare State systems here domestically. You can use Medicare, and it might be a good one to use in your argument. The issue with Medicare is is cover people who represent 20% of the population, but use 80% of the medical resources- that would not be indicative of the general population, which one would theorize if it includes a diverfified risk pool, ie the American Citizenry would be less expensive and much more efficient adminstratively, with information sharing and less confusion on the part of pateints to whats "included"

Overall healthcare outcomes, which are measured from data, can be the basis for the argument of "Government Single Payor/ Nationalized Medicine" delivers better access and comprable care in comparison to a fully private system. Start there to establish Government "Functioning Well" Healthcare is one of the few places I see the Role of Government as benefical to the system and citizen, or in simple terms, where I think it functions well. That being said, I think Single Payor Risk Pool with dedcutibles basedon income are the way to go, not a Nationalized System

thats the primary reason to get involved.... life is too short to surround yourself and seek out other who drone on what you agree with. As for the Avalanche, you have to remember those views are from posters I firmly believe have strong homosexual tendencies.... very strong.... oh yeah, and stop being a such a kitty... we treat each other like **** here, its what we do.

We enbark on Trillion dollar "National Security" protection endeavors, and one of the biggest security risk is right in our own country- the border spaning from Texas to California. Heres an idea- we don't start any wars until we figure out how to protect our southern border....

Bingo. -
Why can't those brown people just have a god damn Democracy and favorable view of America? I do have empathy for the average person caught in the cross fire- Saddam was bad, but what is coming may be worse by many a measure.

yes, was looking to describe equivilency- you are correct, I did a piss poor job of displaying that in point #1, and Paramount would have made much more sense. My wife is a writer, I get dinged up all the time... lol -

as a child today: 1. Your feelings are tanatmaount to anyting else in the world 2. You should never have to lose 3. You should always win in one way or another 4. Never get a splinter at the playground 5. Never be in the backseat of 20,000lb SUV without TV and surround sound 6. Be able to inteprupt an Adult having a discussion because #1 might be violated 7. Want for nothing- even if that requires parents to be corporate zombies 8. never have to stick up for yourself- there are parents for that 9. never have to go into summer with a plan to entertain yourself- parents must provide 10K elite camps- check #7 again 10. Leave College and expect 100K plus salary 11. Probably never have to save for a downplayment on a car, better yet a house- your parents will make sure you want for nothing 12. Expect a bailout when you do stupid stuff- spent yourseld into an abyss- parents shoudl write a check, afterall, the world in mean. today's child Social Media is an the ultimate irony. You see what people are doing technically, but you are actually drifting further from them interpersonally by not picking up the phone or driving to see them. The absudity of 100 "friends" on Facebook- I can barely manage 3 good friends, because if they are truly specil to you, you devote resources and energy to them and those are finite. And yes, we'd have a spirted and cotentious conversation in real life- but little chance we'd call each other retards and ****heads.... thats why Social Media is pointless, IMHO Holy ****- I do the same thing- I put my phone in my back pocket specifically- just about every toher person on the elevator IMMEDIATELY glues themselves to their phone. If they don't and I know them, they usually ask "so, are you guys busy" What the !@#$ kind of question is that!!! "Yes, I have literally nothing to do today, were dead, and I am just punching in for the check" What is wrong with people, if we have nothign to say, lets just nod to each other, smile and enjoy the silence. -
Eric Cantor just lost his primary.

I flush 4 times with those low flows just to wash down that clump of brown that represents 1/2 of my intestines capacity- I've seen some that are small flush/ large flush- but they never seem to work very well. Honestly, if people weret hat worried about water ususage, they'd turn off their sprinklers I see running when it is raining lately (and it has rained alot in Denver, weird)- also, if you are worried about water usuage, don't plant water hungry Kentucky Blugrass on prarie (Denver Metro area). But a low flush toilets are easy, an sure makes us all feel alot better- rolleyes- -

Congress has a 10% approval rating on average over the last fews years..... I am suprised there are not more of these, and maybe we will see more as time goes on. -
Tenure- hmm, like the intention of the concept, but see the results on behavior, effort, attutude and productivity and for the most part it isnt good. To me, academic tenure is to protect non conventional speech and nonconventional ideas in the world of academia. Just like judges in a sense, we want educators at least in high levels to no be afraid to explore ideas that are controversial, etc. What I don't like about Tenure is it is not about protecting intellectual rigor and academic freedom, it is mostly protecting underperformaing, lazy, burnout, checed out Educators. Under state law here, teachers are eligible for tenure after 18 months, and layoffs must be determined by seniority — a process known as “last in, first out.” 18 Months for Tenure- holy **** that is a gift- Tenure shoudl be extremely hard to get and only be in placed based on ongoing achievements in ones field and documented accomplishments. Sadly, it does work that way. Good decision.

that savings in water will be offset by digging up the whole city and installing special low flow recycled material sewer piping.... lol... shifting the burden did you have a stroke today? I like to see disclosure of what is in the products that are on the shelf- I don't need anybody to tell me whats good for me or bad for me, that is my reposnsibility to research and make the determination -

I like labeling to be honest. I like seeing calories estimates on menus, disclosure about GMO products, disclosures about other items me as a consumer might want to know about. The research on GMO's, Phenalanine and other articfical process are still out and I like that I am informed and can make a choice whether I want them in my products or not. It makes me a better consumer. I don't think the Government shoudl ban things is deems bad for you, but it having a role in labeling potential harmful effects/ substances- I don't see the hamr in that as much. I make a choice to go to places that disclose calories and buy products that actively inform. -

B- I don't know about you, but the Government knows what's best for me. Little side story about Toilet Flushing. We had out sewer line scoped because some of neighbors had to trench their backyards to replace their pipes which had clogged and broken. Our, was fine- what funny, is the Plumber said our high volume flush toilets and top load washer is what probably kept our sewer pipe clean and flushed. He said he sees alot of homes with High Efficieny Toilets and Washers that have clogged and defunct pipes... Take that Water Conservation advocates... lol- Government, you can stick it up your butt too... -

My point was instead of banning artisan cheese historically rich, proven process- a middle ground is label cheese as Wood Aged with a website for people to go to see the risks of the process. 99% of people who buy artisan cheese buyers won't care about the label, the 1% will be glad to be notified and still won't care. To me, its like listing the calories, but not banning the Burrito, know what I mean.
