  1. Nice. While I’m really bummed about mccloud getting scooped, I’m happy to get Bryant, Blackshear and Love back. All 3 show signs of being able to make a play if the opportunity presents itself. I’d love to add Duke too, but I think he’s good enough to make a roster. Apparently all the nfl GMs disagree with me, so maybe there’s a chance
  2. If you think they drafted Cook to be a “3rd down back” I give you too much credit. A 2nd round selection isn’t made strictly for the upcoming season….and he isn’t going to be a “3rd down back”. You know this, but would rather cry about it just to cry about it.
  3. My gripes- For a team that plays 80% nickel, we have too many LBs. Stevenson? Really? Maybe they’re going to IR him for the year? Idk— I hope I’m wrong about this guy but I think he’s 💩 hopefully his spot belongs to our future punter Looks like Van Roten is our backup C? Or would Bates move to C and Ike, hart or van roten go to G? i wish Morris was listed as TE2. Maybe Sweeney made huge improvements this off season?? But he was all but a water boy when games really mattered for us. We clearly didn’t want to see him on the field. An awful OT was viewed as a better TE2 and kept him in street clothes…. I mean… 😑 but maybe he’s improved. 🙏🏻
  4. They did. Playing against Mac Jones x3, Darnold, Zack Wilson, the offenseless falcons. Then they couldn’t stop the same offense that they shut down earlier in the season with Tre….. to end the season.
  5. @GunnerBill is suggesting that ONLY the rams FO did enough last offseason to put their team in position to win a super bowl. I think that’s incorrect. Do you agree with GB? Or do you think that multiple teams were in position to win the SB with the rosters they had, but just didn’t get it done for various reasons?
  6. And the rams could only muster a FG…. That FG would’ve put the game into OT.
  7. And if you didn’t notice, I was talking about different variables having an effect on teams seasons. Refs, coin flips, injuries, weather, coaching decisions….. the SB winner isn’t solely decided on what the FO did in the offseason. Multiple teams’ front offices did a good enough job to put their teams in position to win the SB based on their roster….. not one. That’s my only point
  8. We weren’t marching up and down the field and scoring TDs every minute against that D. You’re comparing apples to oranges
  9. I couldn’t care less who you blame. if the weather was beautiful we would’ve hung 30+ on them. random variables.
  10. But our season wouldn’t have ended if we would’ve won the coin flip…. There was a difference between how Josh allen was playing in the 2nd half of the divisional rd vs how Mahomes was playing in the 2nd half vs in the AFCCG. They weren’t going to stop us, just like we weren’t going to stop KC. There are several reasons why teams win and lose each game. I believe that if we win the coin flip, which is luck, we win the SB. Jmo
  11. They did enough. But it doesn’t change the fact that what they did in the offseason isn’t the only reason they won the SB. If we win the coin toss vs the chiefs, it’s my belief that the rams wouldn’t have won the super bowl, leaving them “not doing enough”. Front offices can only do so much. Players performances, coaches, refs, luck, weather etc all play major roles. You say that if the FO addressed the OL differently last offseason than we would’ve been the #1 seed. If we would’ve addressed the OL differently, we would’ve had to use resources we used in other areas to address it, which may have set us back in other areas and caused us to lose different games in different ways. if the weather was good in pats vs bills game 1 last season, we would’ve been #1 seed. I think multiple teams are capable of winning the SB in most years based on what their FO did in the offseason. Some teams aren’t capable based on what their FO did. Last year, we were capable (as were other teams imo). agree to disagree.
  12. Yeah under 10 mins left. The rams ended up kicking the game tying FG on the drive. The rams had no timeouts and the niners with the ball. An int wouldn’t have ended the game but it would’ve changed the win probability dramatically. They would’ve had to score a TD (which they had problems doing vs that D) to end the game or fg to go to OT.
  13. I really hope Morris is the TE2 and sweeney is PS or outright gone.
  14. Jaquiski Tartt dropped the easiest potential interception he’s ever had. If he didn’t commit such a critical blunder, the Rams wouldn’t have “done enough”….. I think the bengals, chiefs, bills, rams and niners did enough last year. Maybe more. Our season ended on a coin flip. Luck. The chiefs season ended because their transcendent elite QB choked. niners season ended because tartt dropped an easy interception. the Bengals season ended because Joe burrow missed a wide open Jamar chase. the packers season ended because of a snowstorm and a blocked punt. lots of variables that have nothing to do with a roster build can change the answer of which team “did enough”. If tartt makes the catch, your answer would be the rams “didn’t do enough”. But they did.
  15. I agree with your post, But I find It’s a strange question to ask. Where do we stack up right now against every other team in the league? We’re the favorites according to most. At least point, it’s about going to work and rolling the dice to see how the season plays out. Outside variables other than roster construction often play major roles in how many teams’ seasons are ended. The many rosters are good enough. Our roster last year, was good enough. One flip of the coin and this could’ve ended much differently. I think they’ve done enough…., I think many teams have done enough. Now it’s time to play the game. Time to outwork our opponents. Time to want it more than our opponents. Time for our coaches our opponents. Time to see which unpredictable variables come into play and have positive or negative effects on our season. The football gods will have their say. Luck plays a role in whether or not we can say a FO had “done enough” in the offseason. I thought they did enough last year. Had the coin come up tails, we might still have been celebrating. Lots of luck.
  16. Pretty epic post
  17. Was thinking the same thing. This makes too much sense to actually come to fruition. Really? Sanu has been washed for 3 years+. I’m surprised that someone actually gave him a camp invite
  18. I feel the same. I think there’s a chance, vs certain teams, we have the 3 active. Definitely seems like there will be an increased emphasis on being more successful in the run game. Could happen from time to time but I wouldn’t expect it weekly
  19. I’m good with this. He’s better than Duke and blackshear and a late round pick won’t help us win a SB this year. Win. This. Year.
  20. Nice. I thought it was a neat idea. I never want anything for my birthday. It was creative and thoughtful.
  21. We don’t need another slot wr.
