  1. If we traded a first (and possibly more) for Aiyuk AND paid him 25m+ a year I wouldn’t be happy.  I’d consider giving them out 2nd rd next year for him, but we all know that isn’t happening

we paid what we paid for Diggs partly because he was already on his and contract which was extremely team friendly.

I’d rather have Legette then to pay a big price for BTj in a trade up.

i would be ok if they decided to go all in on MHj, Nabers or Odunze.  I think all 3 are potentially elite all pro level WRs with 17 and would be under control for 5 years

I’ve been the conductor of the JT28, DK Metcalf and Breece Hall trains. I’m riding the Keon Coleman train this draft

That’s great news for all of us!  No Keon Coleman for us

Came here to say this.  He has great ball skills and knows how to go up and get the ball, something of great value that isn't on our roster right now.

yup.  He can be a threat downfield as a 4.5 guys.  He has the advantage in most jump ball situations based on his skill set and innate ability to track the ball.  If we don’t land one of the top 4, I’d be ok trading back to draft him while  getting an additional day 2 pick or more.  I like Mitchell, Leggette and mcconkey more than Polk, but I like Polk and a day 2 pick more than those guys.

Now that Diggs has been traded and it's come to light there has been ongoing problems in the Diggs/Allen relationship.....I STAND BY THIS.  Allen is going to have a great year, and the Bills are going to be FINE.  Allen is now free to run the offense without having in the back of his mind that he has to get one of the guys a number of targets.  The ball can and will go to the optimal reciever on a given play.

Agreed.  Hopefully one of those WRs is a 1st round pick that turns into an elite WR.

  5. The Kansas City Chiefs feel blessed to be able to select Javon Baker, WR, UCF.

We stuck to our board in rd 1 and 2 and took who we thought were the best players and it turned out they were at premium positions (Edge and CB).  Doing the same here.  We didn’t think WR was as much of a need as the public so we banked on the depth of the position in this draft class and it paid off.   Very happy with this selection.

The thing is, guys like Epenesa are pretty good late 2nd round picks.  There is, of course, a big difference between early 2nd and late 2nd.

Look at the players projected to be available at 60 this year and compare that to what will likely be available early 2nd.  It is a very big difference.

Given this team is undergoing a mini rebuild and picking late in each round, I think they are best off taking best player available at high value positions.  They have to find contributors.  I know they have to find a WR, but after that, they can easily justify best player available at DE, DT, CB, S.  By the time they are into their picks in the late 4th and later, any position is in play (in my opinion) - just find the best players that are there.

I don’t think that is a slight chance.  I think 8-8 this year is probably about what to expect, but a key injury to Allen, Oliver, or maybe someone else and it could be worse.  What does the season look like if Von Miller doesn’t play any better than last year?  It could get pretty ugly.

But what happens if Kincaid blossoms into an all pro type TE, which many have expected?  What happens if James Cook starts catching passes that he routinely caught in the past and stops fumbling?  Both very possible.

What happens when Milano and Bernard return and turn into a top 3 LB duo.  What happens when Daquan and Ed play close to a full season together?  Both very conceivable.

What happens when Shakir, Samuel and a 1st rd WR allow us to spread the ball around more evenly and Josh doesn’t have the ire of Diggs lighting him on fire?  What happens when Josh Allen becomes the best player on the planet?  Certainly within reality.

I get that we’re currently less talented roster than the roster we started last season with.  My counter to that-  I think we’ll have a stronger roster to start this season than we had vs KC in the playoff game.  A game that was within reach vs the back to back champions.

I don’t think you’re giving Josh Allen enough credit.  I think 8-8 is our floor

I doubt it. Milano is a difference maker sure and Bernard certainly would have been a help.  Tre however, had been a non-factor since his ACL tear. The defense may have played better with them in the lineup, but without them they were allowing 7.7 yards per play against the chiefs. I don’t think adding them in does enough to stop the chiefs.

what about trading Cook for a pick to take Benson?  Cook is a good player, but he’s not a reliable pass blocker, has really poor timed drops and the staff doesn’t use him inside the 10.

Benson has been terrible is pass protection.  I guess it just depends what we got for Cook.  I would think the most we’d get for him is a 4th.  If that’s the case, I’d pass and keep cook.

If we could trade cook for a 2nd, I’d do that in a heartbeat. Trading a non elite RB with 2 years of his rookie contract in the books is a no brainer all day every day.  I love cook and I think he’s a stud.  He may be top 5 RB in the league, but I don’t see him as elite atm.  The dropped passes and fumbles have been crushing.

I really like Benson.  Possible star for sure.  His style of play scares me though.  So much contact.  So many more opportunities for injury

We met with Audric Estime at the Combine as well. I think we are looking for a guy who fits that power back type of mold. Benson does run with power. We'd have to spend a 2nd on him though and I can't see it.

I like the player but can you imagine if we spent another day 2 pick on a RB?  😂 that would be brutal.  Motor, Moss, Cook and now again?  Awe hell naw!!

  10. The KC Chiefs select TJ Tampa, CB, ISU with the final pick in rd 2.

Sneed is gone and we feel Josh Williams has the potential to play outside opposite Watson with McDuffie mainly playing inside, but we’re going to double down on some size and go with the long and physical Tampa.  We loved Sneeds ability to reroute opposing WRs at the LOS and Tampa excels in just that.

Rice + Hollywood will thrive and we’ll look to add some WR later in the draft.

They talk at the end about him being mocked to Buffalo. Steve Smith says he won't be there, he's going in the "teens" & that we'd have to move up.

I don’t think many people, if any, think that Thomas will be there @ 28.

    He hasn't earned criticism?

He gets plenty of criticism on this board.  He also gets plenty of applause.  Do you think the national media should be shredding him?  Should Pegula call a pc to inform everyone that Beane isn’t getting a pass?

What shall we do ensure he doesn’t get a pass?

Not sure what the point of this thread is.

  13. Tough call here.

Kinchens could start and play 💯 of our plays for the next 4 seasons.  I like the USC and UGA S’s as well, preferably Bullock.

Jenkins and Fiske could provide us with more interior pass rush ability and interior play.  Every team needs more of that, even if they may only play 50% of the snaps. Really like both players.

Lassiter could be our CB1 when douglas’ contract expires after this coming season

Mahogany and Torrance could create one of the best young OG tandems in the nfl.

please no RB in rd 2.  Cook is ready to shine and drafting a goalline back in rd 2 when we have Josh allen would be 💩.

we paid Taron and only play 2LBs.  We have 2 good LBs and have invested a 3rd pick in their backup (plus morrow).  Drafting a LB in rd 2 would be puzzling.
