  1. McDonald’s Offered Kamala a Chance to Work at Restaurant Like Trump—She Never Responded. So, for those keeping score at home, here’s the rundown: Kamala says she worked at McDonald’s. Trump says, ‘Yeah, no you didn’t.’ Trump mocks her by working at McDonald’s. Kamala is offered a chance to actually work at McDonald’s and … doesn’t. https://redstate.com/rusty-weiss/2024/10/21/not-lovin-it-mcdonalds-offered-kamala-a-chance-to-work-at-restaurant-like-trump-but-never-responded-n2180853 /

  3. SJSU has a much stronger, powerful man on their team. The fact he 'identifies' as a woman does not change the biological reality of it. They're cheating, and no other school should compete until they remove the man from their team.
  4. As I Said, This Election Is About Class, Not Race Or Party David Strom The coalitions that once were the Republican and Democrat Parties have cracked and begun to fall apart, and in their place, a new alignment is developing that is based almost entirely on social class. Not economic classes, which in the United States are more fluid than anywhere else in the world, but social classes, which are hardly as fluid because they are foundational to our identity in a way that purchasing power is not. White college-educated voters--especially those who have attended prestigious colleges and universities--and the cultural elite are foursquare behind the Democrats in a "vote Blue no matter who" fashion; working-class people, increasingly of every race--are backing Trump and moving toward the populist Republicans. Blacks and Hispanics are trending rightward, while suburban white-collar voters are increasingly Democrat. Issues are hardly irrelevant, of course, but social identity is becoming the key metric when it comes to Party ID. An essay by Joseph Epstein--an extraordinary writer and social critic--put an exclamation point on this phenomenon for me. Writing on the Opinion page of The Wall Street Journal yesterday Epstein explained why he simply cannot vote for Trump, despite finding him ideologically sympatico on most of the major issues. Trump is crass, and that is not OK. The world can burn for all he cares, as long as the pants crease is sharp and the diction smooth. {snip} I recognize in Trump all the flaws that Epstein does. I would have preferred a different candidate, or a more modest Trump for that matter. But Trump is the right man for the job at the right time. That is why mavericks--people who care more about results than vibes--are flocking to Trump. That Elon Musk--whose sophomoric sense of humor is as "classless" as Trump's boastfulness--has allied himself with Trump says quite a bit. The man who will get us to Mars before NASA gets us to the moon is backing Trump because he knows that a classy decline is still a decline and that progress and brashness often travel hand in hand. It was not the soft-handed, tweed-wearing college professors who settled the West. It was hard men doing hard things, with hardy wives who braved the wilds. It is often the crass and the hardy who push humanity forward. It is the General Pattons who win wars on the battlefield. MacArthur was crass and egotistical, and you wouldn't want a world only populated by such people. But society needs them. Especially when it is in trouble. And America is in trouble. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2024/10/21/as-i-said-this-election-is-about-class-not-race-or-party-n3796083
  5. McMentum By David Strom There is something glorious about how Donald Trump keeps breaking the minds of the elite. It is his most charming characteristic and probably one of the key reasons why there is a preference cascade that may carry him to victory in just over two weeks. Trump was obviously a superior president to Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris could not possibly be any better than Slow Joe. Ordinary people understand that intuitively, while people in the transnational elite don't care a whit about such mundane matters as a booming economy, world peace, or a closed border. Three things above all others matter to the transnational elite: money, power, and optics. They care deeply about looking good in the eyes of each other. So much so that they will sacrifice children on the alter of alphabet ideology, wear useless masks to show solidarity with each other, and debase our Constitutional order to keep people from criticizing them. You can see their heads explode as Trump served french fries to the proles. It was so gauche, and popped Kamala's bubble by exposing her phony claim that she worked at McDonalds. Nobody cared whether she actually worked there; they cared that she so casually lied about it in a vain attempt to seem relatable. She puts on "McDonalds employee" the same way she adopts a phony accent: with contempt for her audience. You couldn't cruise social media without seeing hundreds of posts about Trump working at McDonalds, so the corporate media actually tried to debunk the claim he worked there. As if anybody thought he applied for and got the job. I am not joking. Trump's love of McDonalds fries and his winning way at the drive thru window drove them nuts. As for staged? Oh, come on. But a preference cascade seems to be taking place. People want to be a winner, and Trump LOOKS like a winner. And Kamala Harris looks very much like a loser right now. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2024/10/21/mcmentum-n3796091

  7. Pretty much everything Donald Trump does triggers the left and their media allies. That certainly was the case in the aftermath of his visit to a Pennsylvania McDonald's where, as we reported, the GOP presidential nominee seemed in his element while working the fry station and interacting with employees and drive-thru customers. {snip} Just absolutely pathetic stuff here. I mean there's not a person in this country who has not eaten at a fast-food restaurant that was cited for alleged "health violations" to varying degrees. But I'm fairly certain the McDonald's in question is the only one that's been put on national blast for the crime of agreeing to allow Trump to work there. For that, the restaurant must be canceled, and the jobs of the fast food workers there? I guess they don't matter to the exact same media figures and leftists who claim to support the working man: In the end we are going to know more about this one franchise location than we are about Harris' entire McD's "career". Which proves Trump's point. https://redstate.com/sister-toldjah/2024/10/21/these-people-need-to-lose-outrage-after-newsweek-tries-to-cancel-pa-mcdonalds-that-trump-visited-n2180861

  9. WELL, THEY’RE NOT RUNNING A TOP-NOTCH OPERATION OVER THERE: There’s Something Odd About the Harris Campaign’s Response to Trump’s McDonald’s Visit. On Sunday, former President Donald Trump made good on his promise to work at a McDonald’s to see what it was really like. Trump worked the fryer and drive-thru at a McDonald’s in Bucks County, a key swing area in Pennsylvania, and drew massive crowds for it. The stunt was supposed to troll Kamala Harris over her dubious claim of working at the fast-food chain in the 1980s, but the move actually turned out to be a masterstroke. The event appeared to genuinely humble Trump. When a customer asked Trump if he appreciated McDonald’s more from the experience, Trump said he did. “Well, I do appreciate it; maybe a little bit more, yeah," Trump said. "You take it for granted. You say, ‘Give me French fries.' I'll never forget this experience. Okay? Now I know how to do it, and it's very good.” This was an undeniable victory for Trump, and it thoroughly blindsided the Harris-Walz campaign. The campaign should have seen it coming — after all, Trump had been hinting for weeks about working a shift at McDonald’s, and it truly became one of the most brilliant political maneuvers of this election cycle. Harris’s team not only failed to counter it but also missed a golden opportunity to get ahead of the narrative. Team Harris got caught flat-footed, and it shows. Of course, the Harris-Walz campaign did respond to Trump's McDonald's visit. “Does anything about this post stand out to you? The first thing I noticed is that it came from Tim Walz, not Harris. Why is that? Harris is the one who claims to have worked at McDonald’s, yet she’s conspicuously silent on the matter. Walz, her running mate, is the one stepping in to make the noise. . . . The absence of such a direct response from Harris raises a lot of questions. It would have been much more effective if Kamala herself responded by saying, ‘Trump pretended to work at a McDonald’s; I actually worked there, yada, yada, yada.’ Last month, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle asked Kamala, ‘At any point in your life have you served two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun working at a McDonald’s?’ Kamala awkwardly laughed and nervously clasped her hands together and said, “I have,” but that was before Snopes fact-checked the claim and called it unproven.” https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2024/10/21/did-you-notice-something-odd-about-the-harris-campaigns-response-to-trumps-mcdonalds-visit-n4933503#google_vignette
  10. It’s really hard to dehumanize someone who always seems to be having so much fun but the Left just won’t stop trying. THIS WAS THE POINT. To emphasize Kamala's lie.
  11. The GOP Makes Democrats Pay the Price for Trans Insanity. There used to be a time when Republican elected officials and candidates shied away from talking about trans issues. They didn’t want to appear extreme or intolerant. Why bother wading in to a fraught cultural issue when there were so many other things to talk about? Deferring to “medical professionals” or “the experts” seemed the easy way out. Now, though, Republicans have emphatically found their voice. Across the political landscape, GOP Senate candidates are hitting their Democratic opponents on their trans radicalism and have them on the run, while the Trump campaign is pounding Kamala Harris on the issue with perhaps the most prominent ad of this election cycle. The chickens have come home to roost, and they are apparently all cisgender. * * * * * * * * For the longest time, Democrats have gone along with the steadily evolving trans orthodoxy as established by the cultural Left. Existing in a bubble, they assumed that doubters could be isolated or embarrassed into going along and didn’t realize just how wildly out of touch they’d become. For his part, Donald Trump is airing an ad during football games highlighting how Kamala Harris said in 2019 that she supported government-funded transition surgery for prisoners and detained illegal immigrants. As the ad notes, it’s hard to believe that anyone seriously seeking public office would advocate such a thing. Now, in the final weeks of an extremely tight election, Harris and her Democratic colleagues are being held to account for their ideological excesses. They can cry foul, but they brought it on themselves. https://archive.is/PoJYP#selection-1101.0-1105.204 When Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) asked Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to define the word “woman,” during Jackson’s U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, she got the response “I can’t.” When Blackburn responded with an incredulous “You can’t?” Jackson replied: “Not in this context. I’m not a biologist.” It takes a biologist to define “woman”? Does Jackson think we’re morons? In a way, yes. Or she doesn’t care. She’s a progressive, and progressives have been redefining language—English and many others—to fit their purposes dating back to the Spanish Civil War and undoubtedly earlier. Jackson very well knows what a woman is. The nominee has known this all her life, as we all have. But these days, in her part of the political world, she’s not supposed to. So she lied. She simply parsed her words in order not to offend a constituency that has become imbued with “transgenderitis.” By that I mean a group taking what we all know—that a small percentage of people suffer from gender dysphoria to a degree that they seek to change sexes—and extending it into absurd public policy for reasons of power and control and, ultimately, money, not to mention a completely distorted and harmful view of gender itself. (In this case, see swimmer Lia Thomas.) Those with that form of dysphoria, as do all with serious problems, deserve our sympathy and support, but no more so than everyone else with difficulties. Nevertheless, they’ve been singled out for now and are being manipulated and exploited by the left, just as many minorities before them have been. The transgendered are the favored class du jour. Tomorrow—I’m sorry to tell them—it will be someone else. https://www.theepochtimes.com/ The one-two punch of Ketanji Brown Jackson’s dissembling and Matt Walsh’s What is a Woman? documentary in 2022 should have been a reminder to the left at how over their skis they’ve gotten on this issue, but once the left collectively loses its mind on a topic, it’s very difficult for them to reverse course.
