Thats how its going to pan out. I don't see Smith making the team this year. He hasn't done anything to stand out from the others. Wilson is probably going toend up on the Practice Squad.

I'd play McGahee only a series, as that's where most of our hope lies for this season. Losman and the OL the entire first qtr. The receivers only a coupel of series and see what JP does with them in. Then bring in the backups to see what they can do with the starting QB until the end of the 1st qtr. After that the WRs deal with Holcomb. Defense only the 1st qtr. Thats my thoughts, I know its not going to get the team in any kind of rhythm, but that doesn't really happen in a preseason game anyway.

Thats about the only way to do it. If I got rid of it in January I probably could have gotten what I need to pay off the loan plus a couple grand more. Now I'd just be happy to get enough to pay it off.

I was just offered a promotion at work, but I'd have to relocate to Chicago. They'll pay relocating expenses and all that jazz. Just wondering if anyone out there lives/lived in Chicago and let me know what you think of the city. The office is actually located in Schaumburg. I'd hate to leave the warm climate but if the money is right.

This pretty much matches me assessment. It all depends on the time of year.

I watched last nights game with really no opinion of Bledsoe. But it was kind of funny, because each time he was out there, I actually expected something bad to happen in the drive. That's how I watched the Bills last year, always thinking a sack, a pick, or a three and out was right around the corner.

I know JP hasn't lit up the scoreboard, but I think he's doing what's being asked of him. FOX Sports; near bottom. "Everyone has noticed the less than stellar play of QB J.P. You guys are making too much out of a preseason game to think that New England will not be good this year. As Hollywood mentioned, they got absolutely crushed last year by the Bengals and everyone thought they were done. This is why they play preseason games, to get the kinks out. However, it was pretty cool seeing Brady get hammered and throw the pick right off the bat.

I'm in favor of keeping this. Its nice to know that I'm not automatically out of it because I missed a week for life reasons. Now if there is an option that I won't be automatically out of it because I SUCK at picking games, I'm all for that too.

OLN appears to be like ESPN was in their infancy. This will be a good deal for the NHL and sports fans in the long run. Another sports channel cannot be a bad thing. If you ask me ESPN is turning back into what they once were. I have never seen so many billiards, poker, and eating contests on TV. Freakin' eating contests? You have to be f'n kidding me.

Great analysis. I listened to the game on Sirius and what you said pretty much confirms what I was hearing. I am very concerned with the number of penalties. Hopefully they get better at that. Over all I thought they played decent but not great. A lot of room for improvement, not bad for a first preseason game.

It looks like Campbell and Euhus have healed alright, so its not a huge loss for us. Let him heal for the season. I hope it was a fair deal, considering he injured the knee in minicamp.

I can't believe anyone around the league would want this guy! That is, except for the Raiders and dolfelons. He would be a cancer the moment he stepped off the plane in the new team's city. He'll be nearly impossible to trade. Reid will want to get value for the talent, but the other teams aren't going to want to give up much, knowing TO's attitude and the Eagle's will be desperate to get rid of him. Not saying that's the situation now, but it looks like its headed that way. I doubt TO plays for the Eagles this year.

I was listening to ESPN Radio and they had a Breaking News story saying that Comcast has signed a contract with the NHL to televise the NHL in the fall. They are looking at putting the games on OLN - Outdoor Life Network. ESPN does have a right to match anything that the NHL signs. This was on "The Herd" with Colin Cowherd show, although Colin is not in today, don't know who the two guys are. They got this news from the Philadelphia Enquirer. I'll see if I can find a link.
