At the Monday Quarterback Luncheon Doug Whaley mentioned that in the new offense not as much emphasis is placed on the guard position. This is per Joe B from WGR today. It could explain why Levitre was allowed to leave and why they have not been more active in finding a replacement on free agency or the draft.
Not according to this.
Its a sequel to Best Man's Holiday. What ever that is.

I agree completely every tool a staff can use to evaluate a player will help to choose the best players for your team.
I think once Nix retires the Bills move towards a younger front office they will establish an analytics dept. That being said they should move forward now in establishing an analytics dept now to demonstrate its effectiveness with the team now.
Buddy did mention in the interview today that Dansby can also play the same spots that Alonso will be in new defensive schemes.
Its possible that while Dansby was meeting with Nix and the coaches that Jim Overdorf was talking salary demands with his agent. The agent could have given Overdorf a salary much higher than the Bills were willing to give, so no formal contract offer was made. Pure speculation of course.
I guess the way I look at the Draft Day Movie is from a marketing standpoint . The premiere in 2014 probably around the time of the draft and casual fans of the NFL might take a greater interest in the Bills after seeing the movie. In 2014 The Bills will be in their second season under Marrone and should be improving. If they win and make the playoffs soon afterwards, there maybe an entire new group of Bills Fans as a result.
It is all a moot point anyways as the movie is now about the Browns.
I have heard the script is horrible, but I believe there was a article in The Buffalo News about Director Ivan Reitman in the being shown possible filming locations in WNY and he did meet with Brandon as well. Were the Bills truly interested, who knows.

This trade would probably have to involve draft picks as well, something Buddy hates to give up. I would love Hayden as an addition to the DB Corps, but I also doubt the Bears give him up, particularity on a one year deal.
I could see Russ Brandon utilizing this as a marketing tool for the franchise especially in light of losing out on the Movie Draft Day. However I believe Buddy Nix and Doug Marrone would not want the added pressure especially during Marrone's First TC.
Where have I seen this before?
