Hughes benched for spat with Rob Ryan?
PatsFanNH replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree 100%. Can someone just tell me why? With the way the wether was it was obviously a ground and pound type game. And more importantly why didn't they focus on Bell Like the entire second half?? -
Only if you took him now, I don't know if any of your past coaches would have stuck with him and gave him time to develop. I mean he was on the bench in year one, year two, I will say it he was a game manager and allowed the D to win most of those games. (He just didn't screw up) he became great (IMO) in 2003. And he became great because of great coaching allowing him to develop. I think Marv Levy would been able do it, but I am hard pressed to see what HC after him would have been.

Yes they will as a wise n on Sunday locks up at least the #2 seed but if both Oak and KC lose I THINK that locks up the #1 seed.... (but I am not 100%sure on that one ) See IMO your QB, while an issue isn't as bad asyour coaching. How Rex and Rob ALLOWED Bell to get almost 300 total yards on O by himself is completely unacceptable and it isn't an isolated incident. IMO Buffalo biggest issue is finding a coach build with so far.

NE gets the benefit because they have been winning for so long and EVERYONE considers the Emperor a absolute Genious! Lol Sadly even Bill fans think your FO is run by I think someone here said "Bozo the clown"? So almost any move is looked as desperate now.

Pats have taken Floyd... that makes me very happy.. they needed another WR and he should fit in nicely for the short term he is here. (Def better than our ST ace trying go out and play WR lol) Think Floyd is happy be going from AZ to the Pats??

That program was turned around by O'Brien when he went there and this guy kept it going. -
Pats, Organization, 2016 Offense - 17 years and counting

No I remember the season well, and I laughed hysterically when the Bills put that tool back in. He SUCKED! And the bills overpaid for him big time. Also dissing the CFL as a silly thing.. geez I'm sorry it's the only other professional FOOTBALL organization on the planet (well that's close to NFL rules) and Flutie won everything there repeatedly so yes if the Bills were not screw ups when he was there you guys would have gone places. Oh and he wouldn't been the first either many came in from outside the NFL lole arena football (Warner) and yes Gugny even some from CFL. (I wanna say Moon) -
The Patriots Can Win With Anyone

A lot of talk about Hogan, he is an important piece for the Pats O and shows good awareness (the last TD last night was him and Brady seeing the same thing.) But for the Pats IMO Mitchell is the future star WR. -
[quote name="PolishDave" post="4162262" timestamp="1481651876 If Rex was honest and willing to change when he is wrong, then he would have re-implemented the defense that was proven to work much much better with this personnel. Rex is the type of coach that wants to make the players fit his system. That is not the kind of coach you want. You want a guy who creates a system to best use the players he has. If he was truly that good of a coach then he would have realized that Schwartz's defense was superior and he would have copied it. Nothing wrong with trying implement your system as long as you bring players in who can do that. My best example is BB he changed the D and brought over players from the Jets that he liked (who were obviously FA) it took a couple years but by year 2 they were SB champion caliber D

I read on Yahoo that they want.......... Pete Carroll lol.. sadly he locked up till 2020. -
If the Bills fire Rex will time in the orginization matter as it will ALL change again and be a new system to learn for both, thus on the same level?

I respectfully disagree. I say BB wouldn't start him and would have someone else come in and run the O the way he wants it run. (or Jimmy G be the starter) he will adapt during the year to the talent he has but if he has a better option on the bench than the high price player that option gets the start. I am not saying Jimmy G is better than TT as a QB just the better option under the Patriots system. -

11-5 with a weak schedule and oh ya an offense that had broken records the year before and went 16-0.. if Brady was healthy they lose MAYBE a game. This year I like Jimmy G. I think he could be special... and Jacoby held the fort for a game and took the beating in game 4. -

Gugny? I'm confused (maybe from lack of sleep) but with Flutie the Bills were winning, then your FO/HC makes the boneheaded decision put the statue of a QB back in (Johnson) and ruined any chance of making the playoffs. Also unlike TT, Flutie had a pedigree of winning from college and the CFL. -
I'm glad Hogan is on my fantasy team
PatsFanNH replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lmao so the Pats are racist.. so thats why they are always a top O in the league.. by far the dumbest thing said in the thread yet! -
So would the. Bills be interested in a trade for Cyrus Jones... he is such an AWESOME Punt and kick off return man.. hear BB take a bag of hammers for him right now. Lol
-
They were contenders for like 3-4 years went to the NFC Championship game I think twice..
-
I very rarely guess what BB is going to do, butbinwould hope he keep a proven commodity behind Brady just in case rather than getting a 2nd or 3rd round pick. IMO she is more valuable to the team than that pick would be if Brady went down injured for say 2-3 games. Ok I am quoting you but this is for numerous people. Who ever saw ANY promise I Mallett (who sucked every time) and Hoyer? (Who never saw real game time action) I already stated that Cassell fooled people because they didn't look at WHO he was playing with at the time. (I mean they broke records on O the year before.. and went 16-0)
-
I agree with this assessment, 100%. I also believe Kizer would be better off going to New Orleans as developing a year or two while Brees plays I think be amazing for him. IMO he could be a very successful QB with the right coach and QB learn from. I think he be horendous in Buffalo simply because you have a HC who has never ever been able develop a QB and no one to learn from.
-
I am a pats fan but I would give KC one of those spots and then eithe NE or Oakland.. should be a great game though..
-
Casell- went 11-5 with an offense the year before that broke records. Anyone thought he was a franchise QB never looked at who he had playing with him. Hoyer -- Never even started in NE, and was cut... has had a decent career but again no one ever saw anything. Mallet -- sucked, and everyone knew he sucked! Jimmy G -- started 2 games and was without Gronk and Edelman was not healthy either... had an amazing QBR (117) and had more TD passes than at least 2/3rds of the NFL. Biggest risk isn't his talent but his health, is he going to be like Tony Romo and put up great numbers but get injured often? Jimmy G. Someone will bet the bank on and send way to much draft capital to the Pats. My guess is either SF or Cleveland.

How does this ship get turned around organizationally?
PatsFanNH replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nah Jimmy G still lead the Pats to an 11-5 record next year.. you forget that the emperor still there to lead the empire to glory. Lol To turn the Bills around (IMO) starts at the top with the owner, he has to go out and get a true President of football operations who would guide the team down a path for the best 5-10 years. That person would higher HIS GM and change the scouting system to the people who will look for players he likes. This does work wether it be like NE, where BB does it all or say like Denver where Elway pulls all the strings. But that's what the Bills need a man with a plan and the drive to implement it with his people.
