That's the asking price. That's like not buying a car because the sticker says $40k but you only want pay $35k. No team starts low and goes higher, you start high and negotiate down. Like I said I don't see atrade happening tillJosh moves on to a HC gig. Let's be honest for a team who hires HIM as the HC it makes the most sense to trade for Jimmy G. as we all know he works well in Josh system of O he will bring with him.

Bills are a joke of an organization
PatsFanNH replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills are not a joke organization. IMO your owners are still learning the ropes of how to be an NFL owner. I heard Bob Kraft say he made a lot of stupid mistakes his first four years and that it was as much his fault as Pete Carroll s that hedidn't succeed here as head coach. So he got it right after 4 years of ownership and brought in BB to oversee all football related issues and ever since been running like a well oiled machine. I think right now the Bills ownership just going threw growing pains and the Bills be fine in a couple years when they figure out what works for them. -
Lmao except if McDaniels gets a HC job (which all reports say he is going to get) it would be just like that. He would be trading for a QB he knows and knows his system already and PROVED he could run his system. Say hypothetically he lands in Jacksonville, would it not be in his best interest to send hit top 5 pick in the second round and say a 4th TD pick for a QB he knows would work in his style of Offense? I say that's the easiest trade ever! Hell I bet he even give up his 1st and say a 6th for him...

Mike Tomlin Responds to Terry Bradshaw's Criticism
PatsFanNH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because he isn't a good coach. The D is the same as it has been since his predecessor. Also he doesn't see a need to cheat? Guess you missed his blatant trip of a player then. You can't get any more BLATANT cheating than that. And I hate him because he whines whenever he loses no matter WHO it is to... he loves to whine about the headsets up here no matter HOW MANY TIMES he is told that it's controlled by the NFL. Mind you his D sucks so that's a good thing.. -
Deranged Rhino, How is improving a team from 4-12 to 9-7 not impressive? Even with Brady out that only adds 2 wins he added 5 more that's impressive IMO. Also 1 game under .500 against BB and you think that is bad? Have you SEEN the record for the AFCE against the Pats with ANY coach? (It is not that close ton.500) he also made the playoffs once. A stat that most Bills fans would find as a positive. As for O'Brien he took the job that was available and he thought he have the best success in after Penn State HC gig. He was right so far. I'm not saying Patricia the next BB but he could be a damn good HC if given time. The ONLY team BB truly dispises is the Jets. Troy Brown has said more than once that BB drills them harder for the Jets week than any other week and if they lost the next week of practice was hell.
-
Lmao you are probably right! I think he will be offered a job maybe even two... it will be interesting if he feels they offer him a chance to succeed. (Sigh another year having replace both Coordinators for BB he will promote from within as usual. lol I wonder if his son Steven get the DC position.)

Mangini 23 - 25 in NY with only ONE losing season (middle year went 4-12 then improved to 9-7 next year and was fired) Romeo 4-15 with KC, he never got a real chance put his plan in place. Weis - only college HC McDaniels -- 11-17 and I say again was given to much power for first time coach Bill O'Brien 27-20 and won his division twice in three years. So outside of Romeo none of them have truly sucked and 2-4 made the playoffs at least once. I also excluded Cleveland as that organization is all kinds of messed up and hopeless. Support? You mean drafting TeBow? That was a mistake but he had the brains to trade the POC Cuttler away.
-
lol I can see how you thought that was arrogant. (Although I praised Mangini threw most of it.) My point was since he went against BB wishes he wasn't even welcomed back in as a coordinator in NE. (Unlike McDaniels, the others made $$$ elsewhere like Weis and Romeo and didn't want come back) Mangini has even said that his one regret was destroying his relationship with BB. Mangini is a very smart man and IMO would have corrected the ship in NY if he had another year or two. (I mean 11-5 and 8-8 I think EVen Bills fans would give him year 3 ) Now get back on topic I don't think either coordinator will take the job in Buffalo. They have the luxury of choosing and or waiting and well if you were going for a job and see that ion 6 years 3 different people have done the job and been fired would you leave your current job to take it? (Meanwhile LA stuck with Fisher for like ever!) KC? Are you talking about Romeo or the head of Football Ops that they got from NE they then Fired? As for Cleveland.. come on man it's CLEVELAND! That doesn't count as a true chance! Lol Denver, McDaniels got to much power for his first HC job that was on them. He should just been a coach and that's that. But he was right on 2 out of 3 deals. The one he got wrong was TeBow.
-
Funny thing about Mangini, he actually did pretty well in NY. The problem is the Owner is an ass hat and canned him because the team slid a little in year 2. But magically when they were all healthy Rex took that same team to 2 AFCC games. Mangini also bet the Pats a couple times as well. Mind you he crossed the emperor and well he is now out of football. (BB told him he shouldn't take that job in NY and he didn't listen.)
-
Pats have been lucky their last 3 coaches have been: The Tuna, Pete Carroll, and BB. I wasnt trying to say Rex was the right fit, especially since what I hear from here it wasn't your GM choice. Now with a new HC whonyour GM chooses they need time.

Mike Tomlin Responds to Terry Bradshaw's Criticism
PatsFanNH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hate Tomlin he is such a tool.. and a whiner a constant WHINER.. why I smile big when the Steelers lose. (Sad really because I like Big Ben, Brown, and Bell but god I hate him.) -
IMO if they keep firing or getting coaches quiting every couple years it's only going to get worse rather than better.
-
Whoever the Bills hire as a HC they need give him a minimum of 3 years. Why? YEAR 1 -- all past HC guys with (if your GM is able) a few their guys from their old team YEAR 2 - have 2 drafts and year 1 class SHOULD be ready and able to provide a real core for the team. YEAR 3 - mostly their team with draft picks and FA pick ups. Now a lot of this assumes Whaley or whoever the GM is works with the HC to make a better team for his scheme.
-
It may been 2014, but was within last 2 years. And your Patriot friends know this as it was on talk shows for weeks. Like I said I like Patricia and McDaniels both. I see McDaniels jumping and Patricia staying unless a team gives him a damn good offer.
-
I think what one poster said is true as well. NO coordinator will leave NE for a job unless they have BB blessing to go take it. Now the reason for this is two fold (IMO) 1. He wants them to succeed and be ina good spot so wouldn't recommend a bad job. (Only one NO Coordinator even try for now be Jets. BB has a deep hatred for them and no coordinator go there but any other job I don't see him poo poking IF it was a good fit. 2. If it fails (Patricia case) you know he will take you back as a coordinator and or ref for you. Again I think Patricia be a great HC but wonder if Buffalo owner and GM try force him do things he was against.
-
This year it is def Patricia, but literally just last year BB took over the play calling because he got ticked off with their performance. I don't think he has ever done that with the OC. I think Patricia be a great HC as long as he isn't handcuffed by management. What I mean by that is the owners and GM say "you will play X player because he makes X dollars" even though Patricia knows Y player is better. ( be like if the owner in Seattle told Carroll to play Flynn instead of a certain young rookie QB.)
-
He lets them do their job but BB fingerprints are all over the D. The O not so much as he has TWO coordinators there in McDaniels AND Brady.
-
Lol that "brilliant offense" is 75% the same as when Charlie Weis was here..as for Patricia man is very smart and is def running BB defense as BB has threw the years (even this one) pulled the D aside and coached them up. Also if you think appearance = great or good coaching then I point to one BB aka the emperor and say YA NO! Lol

So Who's Fault Is It Really ?? Coach or Players ?
PatsFanNH replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To the OP it is the country aches job to have them prepared and put in the best position to win EVERY week. IMO Rex has failed miserably at this especially on defense. Good e samples of this just from last week: failing to call TO in time before the 55 yard tying FG, or even worse not having 11 guys out there on OT when the Phins break a run for 55 yards. Those 2 mistakes cost you a win, that's not including other games where he mismanaged the clock and or personnel on the field. Also everything you mentioned on what players did wrong MOST coaches and all GOOD coaches already have taught or rather beaten into their players brains what needs to be done so those are also Ryan failures as a coach, or do you think BB, Carroll make those type of mistakes? -
Tyrod throws for 300 yards are you happy 550 WGR?
PatsFanNH replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills had I think over 600 yards total offense but only 31 points. With that much O they should have had over 40 points easily. Is that on TT? No but the play calling in the red zone is rather questionable at times. It also didn't help that the D just couldn't stop Miami with less than 2 minutes to go.
